I can give you more scriptures if you want. Just keep in mind that Christ is the fullfilment of the law. No one, but no human being here on earth can keep all the commandments. Demons had a ball of a time my entire life, after I joined AA my eyes started to open. The demons still were doing the same thing to me decades ago with ferocity because I quit alcohol n drugs. I joined a church that was actively using the gifts of the Holy Spirit in Jesus name. I learnt to take authority by focusing on the Bible and today I'm happy I'm able to see things beyond the physical realm and lead a fruitful life. I have recently left the Catholic Church and have been diving into a rabbit hole of research to try and justify why the Holy Spirit has led me away. I now know.
If you are on a faith journey and trying find where God is taking you, listen to him and follow. I was raised Catholic for 24 years until I told my family I would like to “explore” my faith. That was the best decision I have ever made because it led me to the truth. My entire family, relatives and all are Catholic - I love them to death and they are great people. I am the first one in my family line in 2 generations to step away from the Catholic teachings. The judgement I receive from family is wild and hurtful but God has led me down this path for a reason, it has not been easy but he is opening my eyes so that I can lead others.
I have nothing against Catholics, but If you have been raised Catholic and that is all you know, I highly encourage you to take a step outside the church and explore what The Word of God has to say. God bless.

I was raised catholic and went to catholic schools because the priest told my mother that if she didn't send me to catholic school she would be committing a mortal sin and upon her death would go to hell. I accepted all that the nuns and priests told me about catholicism because I was told that if I didn't I would go to hell when I died. Looking back, I realize that I learned "fear and not faith". I have now found faith in Jesus by reading his word in the bible. Yes, different bibles sometimes give different meanings but I don't dwell on that. The important thing is to believe in Jesus and ask his guidance and he will show you the truth. Arguing about the trinity or weather Jesus was nailed to a cross or a stake should not deter you from strengthening your faith in Jesus. Jesus said that he is the son of the father who imbues us with the holy spirit that's all I need to know. The method of killing Jesus is not as important as the reason for his death.

Well, if you want to be a follower of Jesus it would seem that the important thing would be to actually follow him into HIS church and then stay there. And then believe all that he teaches. It is really sad that millions and millions of people are deceived and being led right to hell regarding following the Catholic faith, like you mentioned, mostly out of a sense of loyalty to family and organization. It seems to me, people would wake up and be more loyal to God Almighty over some religion that's not even scriptural to begin with. I myself was raised in the Baptist faith but, thank the Lord Jesus that my eyes were opened by God Himself. I now don't profess to be Baptist or any other false faith/religion anymore. According to scripture, the only faith any of God's children are to profess is Holy. It is written, "Be ye holy for I the Lord your God am holy". God didn't say, "Be ye Catholic or Baptist or Methodist or Apostolic or any of these other MAN-MADE religions. Why in the world did I and still so many people do til this day profess to be all these other things that God never said to be, I don't think people for the most part have even given that question a thought. It is written, "One Lord, ONE FAITH, one baptism". And, if we are to believe the Bible and there IS only one faith, then being Holy or Holiness is that faith. The Catholic Faith is not "man made." The Church was founded by Jesus Christ and has been here for 2000 years. The heretical sects were not founded by Christ, were founded by mere men, and most of them only within the last few hundred years.
So in your beliefs for 1500 years no one went to heaven? Because the only church that existed during that time was the Catholic Church until Martin Luther came around.

I wasn't raised going to church, so when I became curious about GOD what did I do? I went to just about all the denominations of the church. Truth be told, and I'm saying this from my experience the Catholic church freaked me out. I went to many different churches of the same denominations and hands down Catholic church felt very cult like. Also I would ask people why did they go to the church they went to most responded "my family always went there". That just didn't make sense to me. I'm a questioner, I'm the kind of person who when asked "anyone have a question", I respond with like 100. The pope and the rituals they do, is some of the most satanic stuff I've ever seen. I'm glad I wasn't forced to go to church and when I was ready I let JESUS take the wheel and I prayed for GOD to show me and guide me until I found the right church. The church I found preaches the bible, and you feel GOD's presence.
But, you never spoke to a priest or deacon with your questions. Interesting comment you've made about it being a cult and never doing any reading or attending bible study, or asking questions - you did say you're a questioner!

I asked the priest to show me where in the bible it mentions purgatory, confessing your sins only to a priest, and where does it say Sunday is the Sabbath day, and he couldn't show me. I was reading Ephesians and I came across a verse that said we are small stones of congrdsion that make up a large body (church) this would actually confirm the protestant translation of the rock being the confessions of Jesus by billions of believers throughout the years. I'm gonna have to go find it now. I remember because it was exciting finding it.

When Moses hit the Rock in a temper, you’ll find Rock is upper case letter. The “Rock” is what is called a type & shadow (of things to come Jesus is our Rock) like when Abraham took his only son (of promise) to be sacrificed. God Supplied the ram in the thicket for Abraham to replace his son as the acceptable Sacrifice( being Type & shadow of God’s only Son Jesus The Scrificial Lamb)

@@bairfreedom You are mistaken - the word in Matthew 16:18 is "petra" meaning "rock" and it is not used in Ephesians or anywhere else in the NT to refer to believers in general. It is significant, however, that although As you know, Peter's given name was "Simon", but he is known throughout the NT as "Petros" which is the male version of the same Greek word, "petra". In Aramaic, which is what Jesus spoke, the word for "rock" is "kepha". So in Aramaic, Jesus says "You are kepha and on this kepha I will build My Church. . ." and as we know, Simon is often known by this new name - Kepha.
The only Bible translation I could find that uses the word "rock" in Ephesians is the TPT, which has been pulled from protestant resources like The Bible Gateway and is widely rejected as a translation. You should probably avoid it, in order to avoid faulty proof texts like this.
"Thou art Peter and upon this Rock I shall build My Church!" ... quite straightforward really.

I was raised Catholic and went to Catholic School we never read the Bible ever not once... I remember classmate bringing in the King James version and sister Michael the principal slapped her across the face and grab the Bible King James version from her hands!! I can never understand why that ever happened and from that day on I questioned everything!

Then you probably don't know that the patent for the Bible is owned by the house of Windsor, Yes the Royal family of the U.K. The version of the King James Bible was rewritten to say what the Royals of the U.K. wanted it to say This is the King James Version of the Bible.

I left the catholic church at age fourteen. The thing was I was heavily into the church for a time. Served on the altar as an altar boy for three years. Something clicked one day and I made my decision to leave. Now don't get me wrong. The reason for my leaving was not because of some sexual misconduct. The priest I served under was a good man. Mislead maybe but I experienced none of that from him. Something inside me just told me I did not belong there.
I would suggest you look into some Catholic apologetics, I don't know your specific background but most Catholics are very misinformed about what the Church teaches and why it's true.

(1 Corinthians 14:19). You are right, quality is to be favored over quantity. That said, if the Lord permits, this year will bring with it a healthy combination of "much and many" or at least "much and more". I was raised in the Catholic church . They put so much fear in me. I thought the priests were more holy and at a higher spiritual level than myself. A believer from Campus Crusade for Christ shared the true Jesus with me in college. I put my trust and faith in Him alone. I received the gift of Jesus. I started reading the Bible on my own with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and attended Bible study for the first time. What freedom, love , courage , strength I felt. Praise God the veil was removed from my eyes, mind. I had a vision , a picture of an alter of priests standing on their their raised stairs all became level to me. They are just human. Please pray for my family members who still attend the Catholic church , that they would be saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone. God Bless

I still never understood until today why Peter is just another little rock like us or if the RC church might actually have had the monopoly that they claimed. Jesus also talks about putting Him before anyone else, including our families, and that faith in Him may mean these relationships being severed. It sounds harsh, but Jesus didn't mince words.

Mind-blowing presentation. I have NEVER heard this before in 64 years in “Evangelical” churches. I grew up in a classical Pentecostal church. In the early days there was a vague suspicion of Catholicism, not because of the Pope or priests or the majesterium, but because the “Roman church” did not believe in the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. That all changed with the rise of the Charismatic movement in the late 60s. Catholics (and other groups) were speaking in tongues and exercising the “gifts.” That meant they wete OKAY now, in the club.
As a teenager I already knew how these gifts worked. I knew the falling, the words of knowledge, the leg-lengthen healing services, the screaming and jerking and prophesying were phoney and emotionally induced. BS that could not be challenged.
I was a talented young musician. In high school I played for a traveling Pentecostal evangelist and later for a group associated with TBN.
More of the same, but turned up to 11. Signs and wonders were everything, they WERE the Gospel.
I became faithless in disgust.
Ended up in Nashville smack in the Christian music business. I was blessed to work with many true believers - but also a plethora of famous televangelists, narcissists and phoneys. Everybody was afraid to call out the even the most egregious wolves in sheep’s clothing.
In reaction to a childhood friend who had swallowed the teaching of Science of the Mind (a step-child of Christian Science), and amused by the fallacy of the Christian Science world-view) I said, “Jim, read CS Lewis’s MERE CHRISTIANITY.
He did and became transformed by the Gospel.
I had not read it and decided I should.
I encountered the Gospel and it was not what I had been taught was the Gospel.

Well, I was raised in a church that was not pentecostal. Born again believers, but did not believe the gifts of the Spirit were for today. I was never a christian but taken to church by my christian mother. Got into the world all throughout teenage years and also quit church. At age 22 I went to a tiny Assembly of God on a Sunday evening on May 17, 1979 and was born again. It was very tramatic. The evangelist had no idea who I was or anything about me, but every word of that sermon was as if he was preaching all of my life. I went up at the alter call and with tears flowing down my face, I prayed to be saved and repented of my sin. I must have cried for an hour. A couple of weeks later I was baptized in the Holy Spirit. It changed my whole life. Best thing that ever happened to me. That was 41 yrs ago. I praise God for my salvation. No greater gift. But Im also thankful Jesus baptized me in the Holy Spirit, and that I know about the gifts of the Spirit and He has used me at times through His gifts. I totally believe all true born again believers and the churches do need all the gifts operating in the churches. But only the real thing. I've been blessed to know the real thing, and with discernment and Gods Word to know when it's not the real thing.

Same here, entire family is catholic parents uncles and grandparents both sides. Recently got saved and jesus set me free from alcohol and meth i was so deep in it for 6 years and a terrible relationship with a man who did not love me. And still my parents dont believe that jesus saved me out of all that.. they think that i have finally decided to stop all my ways and decided to get right. I was raised Catholic but never catechized, so I went to protestant services, which did nothing for me. I then became an atheist. I after many years return to Catholicism and became catechized I learn how wrong I was. In the many years as an atheist, I observe how Protestants really do nothing, nor know anything about the bible or christ, they interpret the bible however they see fit.

Recovering catholic here, Catholicism is more than just a religion where I'm from, it's a big part of the culture. When you're brought up in the church and everyone you know is catholic you can't see the truly evil and quite frankly satanic nature of the church until you're looking at it from the outside looking in. My wife and her family had relationships with the Holy Spirit and I honestly didn't know what they meant by that, sadly my mother in law who was my greatest spiritual guide passed away unexpectedly almost 2 years ago and I'll never forget the night that I truly understood what they meant by having a relationship with the Holy Spirit. My father in law gave me my mother in law's bible, she would underline various passages and make notes in her bible, one night I was struggling spiritually and decided to crack open my first bible that wasn't a catholic edition of the Bible and randomly flipped to a page and saw that she had something underlined and sure enough it was exactly what I needed to read. The second my eyes fell on the words A flood of tears started running down my face but it wasn't sadness that I was feeling but just an overwhelming feeling of grace and love and everything they were trying to show me made sense. I invited the Holy Spirit to live within me and renounced my catholic faith immediately. I can honestly say from that day my life has been exponentially better, I live for God, I praise him daily and I thank him for the continues blessings that he bestows on me, I repent for my sins and truly try to be the best ambassador of Jesus that I can. Catholics please reconsider, I know it's hard to see it but truly read gods words and take a hard look at the practices of the catholic religion.

Got saved? Please tell me where does this come from? How do we get saved? Who tought about this new expression "got saved". Where the first Christians, the apostles talking about "got saved?". Has the the Church fathers written about "got saved"? Please read the acts of the apostles and find what Peter did when the Lord's angle asked him to go to the Roman house. Did Peter say: ..."Roman, testify that you surrender to Jesus and that you believe in Him. Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and be saved? If I had to choose, I would do what Peter would teach me to do and not what a man of the end of the second millennium would ask me to do for the sake of my eternal life.

There is simply no coherent rebuttal. They will say that Jesus had not commanded baptism yet, as if there were varying methods of salvation. This is false according to Romans chapter 4. Abraham was saved the same way we are saved; "his FAITH was accounted to him as righteousness", not his circumcision. Moreover, Cornelius and his household received the Holy Spirit before water entered the picture. To surmise that they were unsaved despite the Holy Spirit being poured out on them is utterly incoherent. I truly pray this video will continue to make you think and seek the Lord Jesus. He constantly said, "your FAITH has made you well." and "whosoever BELIEVES in Me will not perish but have eternal life." The just shall live by FAITH, my friend. It is true that genuine faith is active and working, but not in liturgical things. To confess and BELIEVE (same word as "faith" in Greek) it the prescription (Romans 10:9). Ephesians 2 tells us that we are saved "grace through faith" and not of works. If water could save me then faith no longer faith. Please meditate on Romans 4:18-25 (emphasis on verses 20-22). May the Lord work in you heart true saving faith in Jesus and may He shower you with mercy and grace for His name's sake. This is my genuine prayer for you.

My sister and her entire family went from Christian faith to Catholic! I’m praying that God will wake them up before it’s too late. There are tons of people who see Catholicism is just another church on the corner.

@@ServusChristi I've seen countless examples of infiltration, practically open and honest Satanists, in all denominations of contemporary, American parishes, and all over America. This isn't anything that you can lay(solely) at the feet of the Vatican and the American archdioceses, even if they are the worst example of the degenerative effects of Christianity in this era.. Any real subset of true devotees of God and his Kingdom, is attacked immediately by the many servants of Satan, 1st and foremost in America being the Masons.

A major deception of the RC Church, which was the last straw for me, was with Exodus 20 and the 10 commandments. You can check ANY Bible and take note of the 2nd commandment dealing with graven images.
THEN if you look up the 10 commandments as printed in the RC Catechism you find this: (yes, I checked with my own copy of the Catechism)
1. “I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have any strange gods before Me.”
2. “Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.”
3. “Remember to keep holy the Sabbath day.”
4. “Honor thy father and mother.”
5. “Thou shalt not kill.”
6. “Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
7. “Thou shalt not steal.”
8. “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.”
9. “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.”
10. “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s goods.”
THE 2ND COMMANDMENT IS DELETED.
What kind of church (that teaches honesty and integrity) would commit such a deception? To intentionally change (DELETE) one of God's Laws is beyond all comprehension.
As I mentioned, this was the last straw. My confidence in the RC church was forever broken. My journey away from the RC church was irreversible.
Is there any wonder why many tens of thousands are leaving the RC Church?

If you would throw off the RCC narrative that you were taught since childhood you will discover the deception you have been under all those years. I am positive that Jesus Christ put this video in my iPad to play right now. This video played at the exact moment that I am struggling. Right now I feel broken ! I had been studying the king James with a Latino Catholic neighbor. What she told me tonight has upset me so bad that I just feel it’s pointless to continue to study with her. Until we begin studying the Bible she knew nothing about the Bible. Zero. Only what her family has done for multiple generations. To her it appears she looks at the Bible and Jesus and interesting thing. The same way she thinks her friend who Mormon is interesting and the way she sees the all churches or any made up by man religion. She can not grasp the fact that there is no comparison. Jesus is king ! His word is the only word of God, it’s above all these man made organized religions, if she can’t understand that Jesus is set apart from all these rituals and practices that churches do. Then it’s pointless to continue to study with her. As she doesn’t understand who Jesus is. Hope she finds him, hope she stops living in deception. But I feel she want. She lives to be uneducated it’s an easy way to say I don’t understand. So I’m walking away, I’d rather study with someone who knows that Jesus is the only God. Because it hurts my heart to much to see her in the Sacrilege that she lives.
