Bonus tip: the 10th gen Civic comes with pre-rolled rear fenders. Its possible to have the tucked look without the need to roll the rear fenders since the outer and inner sheet metal doesn't have the awkward L-shaped welds
You prolly dont care but if you guys are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream all of the latest movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been streaming with my brother for the last days =)
@Callan Bentlee Definitely, I've been using InstaFlixxer for years myself =)
@Callan Bentlee yup, been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself :)
I was truly expecting this video to suck and be worthless but... seriously man thanks for changing my mind. This is SO helpful if you're shopping for wheels. To my knowledge there is nothing out there to help with stuff like this. It's ridiculous.
Pioneering the industry every day!🙌🏼
Thanks to this video I made my final decision for my 9gen, I’m going with 17x8.0 instead of 18x8.0 to avoid that rubbing that I hate and the negative camber 😁
Thanks.
Hiram Galarza
what wheels did u go with? and what was the offset
JAA I bought vors tr4 17x8.0 35offset with 215-45-17 tires and is the perfect fitment for people that don’t like the rubbing like me.
Hiram Galarza nice i hear thats the perfect sz
i might pick up some rpf1’s tomorrow just waiting on the guy to confirm. 17x8 +35
@GoonieGooGoo I think 50+ is too much. If the difference from 35 to 50 is 1/4 of an inch probably it won’t cause any rubbing problem.
I fucking love Jasper’s energy man! He’s came a long way in such a short time. I see you and I appreciate you 🙏🏽
As always you guys put out the greatest content!! I am a 9th gen owner and have been waiting for an awesome vid like this... 💪👍
Glad you enjoy the content we have more videos like this on the way covering other vehicles stay tuned! 👀🙏
Why do I see so many miata comments
like
its a miata, you could literally slap anything on there
Finally the information I’ve been waiting so long for awesome information 🙌
Blessed! 🙏
SO GLAD Y’ALL FINALLY DID A HONDA CIVIC VIDEO 🙌🏼❤️
Great Guide. You could do separate generations for each generation of civic. If you title it something like 3rd & 4th generation civic fitment you'd probably get a lot of hits/view/traffic coming into Fitment Industries.
Great video 🔥😎👍🏾 thanks I learn a lot. I most def will be using info to decide the size & Fitment on my 2016 Honda Civic Ex ☺️
You guys should have gotten the Honda Civic slanty boys for this vid. There were waaaay too many Civics that looked like monster trucks!
Ayee clips from my video were used again. Thanks!
Thank you for making this video 🤙🏻🤟🏻❤️
🙏❤️
I got a 2012 civic will a 18x9.75 fit with stock suspension? I still might meet to roll my fenders but I was wondering.
I know you said you aren gonna do many more civic gens for what wheels fit but it would be sick if you could do one for the 6th gen civics.
We have more videos like this on the way stay tuned! 👀
Would 18 x 9.5 +38 rub without rolling fenders? On a 2018 Honda Civic si , ik u have it in the video but u didn’t say if it would rub
It will not! Take a look at some of these references from our gallery! bit.ly/2Y1agy4
This dude has good energy
I needed this
🙏🏼❤️
10 gen Civic Si.. And I'm gonna rock a 17x8 with a +45 offset. With a 235/45R17 summer tire.
Shouldn't have issues with that setup. Gearing towards performance vs looks.
Do you have any issues?
Excellent video I've learned so much ..I've watched it more than once.lol.. I must say gels is my favorite.. then I got to go with Dakota ... You guys kick ass... I went from what's an offset.. to being somewhat savvy.. thank you guys..
I have a 2012 civic ex with 18x8.5 for fronts and 18x9 in the rear
Sounds dope you should upload your ride to our gallery sometime! bit.ly/2obqAZQ
Damn, I got excited for a second when I saw Honda Civic but then was sadly dissapointed when it said 2012-17. Still a great video but I can’t do much with the info since I have a 96 hatch.
I got a 10 gen si coupe is it possible to fit some 20 inch wheels
Do one for the Honda Accord 2013-2017
Yes!!!... Please do!!!... 9th gen Accord V6 Touring all the way!!!
@@djx-factor992 I have a 2016 9th gen accord sport
William Tran yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaassssshhhhh pppuuullleeeaaassseeeee
Have you set yours up as yet? I bought some gun metal Niche Misano 20x9 wrapped in Toyo HPII 245/35 R20. Also bought some TEIN Flez Z coilovers and double drilled & slotted rotors... still waiting on a few more things before I put it all together... my Christmas gift to myself 😁
@@djx-factor992 I only have done D2 Racing coilovers to lower the stance and aftermarket camber kit for the car, no wheels yet just running stock 19s for now
TYSM 4 this video! My goal is 2 buy a 2012 Civic Si next yr! 😁So helpful for the fitments! 👍
TheHonda _Guy21 coupe or sedan?
Mrs Magik a white coupe yep
Can someone prove that a 42700-TBA-A12 which is 7" wide maintain OE geometry on a 12 Civic LX. From what I've found it has the same offset of +45. Earlier this year I bought them a set of winters from a Mazda 3 on a very rare steel wheel with a +46 offset and a 67 center bore that seems to be wearing and steering properly with centering rings. It's just a DD and all the OE wheels are +45 so I'm hoping that that geometry would be the same for each trim level but I don't know jack.
THANKZ Guys SUPER helpful !!!
I run 18x9.5 +22 no problems really 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ *2018 civic*
yessirrrr
Color suggestions for a cosmic blue civic??
Will the 10th gen wheels fit on a 9th gen? Specifically for a 2014 Honda Civic?
Requesting public opinion: I’ve got a 10th gen Honda Civic Ext, I just bought Lexus RCF OEM rims, the spokes have a kinetic design that I like. Problem is they’re 19x9+35 front and staggered to 19x10+35 rear. We’ve concluded to modify the hub bore: Lexus and Honda are incompatible and put in slanted lug nuts to fit the knuckles tight, and a new air suspension.
The problem or debate is:
Will the RWD tires look funky on FWD car?
Will the turn radius and gas consumption come back to haunt me with 9 and 10” width tires? I’ve stayed with the EX-T instead of switching to an SI for its fuel economy. It needs to also be safe to drive.
👍🏽-you’re good, keep the rims
👎🏽-you’ll return it to stock by the end of the month.
15 civic si sedan I confused on what will fit my choices are 17x9 or 18x9 what will fit and look better for stock ride height?
Closest to stock ride height would more then likely be the 18 x 9 but you can also reference! bit.ly/2FRmpxw
Do 5th -8th gen civic
Perfect Year selection
Would be super helpful if yall did the 6th gen civics. Lots of people have ‘em
We have more videos like this one covering other brands, stay tuned! 👀🙌

Whats the most i can push with 18inch wheels without the need of fender modifications? On the 9th gen
I got a 10th gen coupe I want to have lots of poke that’s sticks out from the fender. What should I go with
Have you checked out our gallery yet? I highly suggest checking it out to see what others are running for a poke fitment!
If I do a 18x9.5+35 wheel on my 2015 Civic si will I have to roll my fenders?
my civic 2012 i want to know will 17 inch alloy wheels fit the front of my car without touching the springs when making a full turn of the steering wheel
Love this series!
❤️
S2Ks please. I managed to get a 17 x 8 +45 in the back with 255s and they're poking a bit so gotta roll my fenders in the future.
Can you all do this for the 9th Gen Accord Sedan/Coupe?
Helps to say what size tires because that will make final decision what offset you can run !
2012 civic si running F1R F21 18x8.5 +45, 235/40 in front 245/40 in rear. Stock offset, no rub, sits flush with fender, sitting on swift spec r springs.
Sounds like a slick set up, you should upload your ride to our gallery sometime! bit.ly/2Ma4oca
Great vid
I’m running an 18x9.5 +20mm on my 10th gen lmao gotta roll my fenders, and lower, tires rub when I hit big bumps
Looks pretty aggressive too I’ve been told
Damn!!! Haha you should upload some pictures to our gallery sometime we would love to see more of the ride! www.fitmentindustries.com/add-wheel-offset
NA miata please. just bought one and I'm a complete car noob on technical level.
if it exists in 4x100 of the shelf in a 14 15 or 16 it probably fits. 14x5 to 15x10 on stock fenders
Theres already a guide for this on driftworks website
video's are a lot more clear to me tbh.
Check the forums. The info there is pretty comprehensive. If all else fails, just go to flyinmiata.com 949's 6UL wheel is your sure bet.
15x8 +0
Please do one for s14 PLEASE. Thanks, just got the car been looking at wheels
Great suggestion in the mean time man you should check out our gallery to see some other builds! bit.ly/2Ma4oca
Hi I want to put in my coupe 2017 with stock wheels, 275 40 17 tires, do you think they can fit well in the fenders without having any issue while driving?
Is there another video like this for ‘07 Honda accords?
Not yet! We have more videos like this on the way stay tuned! 🙏
Fitment Industries I will, Thank you!!
What if I have 16 inch wheels stock going to 18 inch wheels? What would I have to change ?
Would an 18 x 8 +40 fit a 2015 Civic Si without having to modify the fenders while on lowering springs
Does not look like you would rub with those specs! However I see a tire size was not listed so I am not sure what you plan to run on however if you would like our team would love to help you more with this as well as getting you setup with some options and pricing! Shoot us an email sometime at shop@fitmentindustries.com !
Fitment Industries Thank so much, I’ll email you guys for some more help. Also, awesome channel and great videos, keep it up! Helped me get into cars!

Hi wheels size good fit for Civic hachtback 1,5 Turbo 182 hp 2020 ?
8th gen civic?
Alvaro Ontiveros do this oneee
Lol yes. From what I've gathered, most use 17x9 +35 in usually RPF1s or other enkei wheels or MB Battles for 8th gens. Liked the vid. Pretty spot on.
They have legit the same specs as the 9th gen.
Rays Wheel g25 20x8.5 offset +39 Could you tell me what tire would you recommend for me to avoid rubbing or contact?
7th gen accord coupe? Only wheels I've seen that I really fck with are the esr sr01's, black with the gold rivets. Was looking at getting them in the 18x8.5's with a +30mm offset.
We plan on doing more videos like this one down the road for other brands so stay tuned! 🙌👀
So 18x8.5+40 would be pretty safe for a 2013 correct?
Yeah!
Hi fi, I have my civic 11th gen I changed the wheel from stock 16in to 18in, but the road noise is exceptionally loud at 100kmh onward, I have dig into so many article and videos into this problem but seem can’t get a true answer.
Here is some basic information, hope fi can give a clue what causing the loud noise: rims NK performance flow forming 18x8.5 et35, tyre: Goodyear eagle f1 sport 235/40/18 (asean market model).
I went few tyre shop to do inspection, nothing wrong with tyre, no defect, bearing is good, There’s few answer from them:
1. The low offset causing wheel exceed fender like 15mm, it causing loud noise.
2. The tyre is hard compound
3. The tyre mount is stretched, causing the loss of sound proof.
4. The rear camber is way too negative, causing the noise.
The car is three month old, no other mods is applied, hope there’s some great answer here^_^. Thank you.
Shoot us an email at shop@fitmentindustries.con man! We may. E able to answer some questions! -Edgar
8th Generation plz
Would 18x9+35
245/40R18
Rub on eibach sport line springs?
do gti mk7 next
Quick question: my stock tires are still relatively fresh. If I want to put new rims on them, what would the rim size have to be? (10th gen civic with 17"stock rims)
Would it be possible to add the tire sizes as well? I think that's just as important!
Absolutely we are looking at ways to upgrade our episodes daily and this is a commonly requested addition for our videos! 🙌
Okay so I’m kind of late, but I want to run some avid av6’s on my 2015 si but with completely stock tires and I don’t want to stretch either. Is there any size you can recommend me for that exact fitment?
I dont have time to watch the video cause im at work but car guys size tires and rims can i put on my stock 2012 honda civic lx sedan for a sporty look without having to lower it
Check out these options below! Any wheel in 18x8.5+35 with a 235/35 tire should be exactly what you’re looking for 🤘 - www.fitmentindustries.com/store/wheels?sort=popular&year=2012&make=Honda&model=Civic&trim=LX&DRChassisID=36453&vehicle_type=Car&dia=18&width=8.5&offset=35&bolt=5x4.5%2C5x114.3&susp=%20Stock%20Suspension&mod=No%20Modification&rub=No%20rubbing%20or%20scrubbing
@@FitmentIndustries ok thank you very much. I wouldnt have to adjust my car to fit these tires correct?
Im running 19x9.5 rims on a 2013 Honda Civic my back tyres are 265 30 19s i need help deciding what size tyre to run on the front
I’d say 255s would be solid! -Edgar
Can you do a Nissan Versa 2016?
What about the 8th gen civic So coupe
