These videos make me believe a rumour I heard years ago that says a lot of people in Vancouver BOUGHT their driver's license.
Well actually Driver License is not free at all. 😬🤭
only if u r asian or east indian
We’ve got to many Einstein’s in our cities smh hahah
I always figured that Canadians are more polite than this...
We used to be more polite, but it’s all different now.
Everybody first, after me, is so common.
Funny thing, is with courtesy, things go better for all.
Do some videos without narration
Turn it on mute?????
What’s wrong with wanting to hear the actual video clips? Nobody wants to hear this dudes shitty play by play for every single clip
Yup, Vancouver drivers believe that a wave cures all their bad skills. And as for jaywalking pedestrians, they are their own worst enemies.
Love your Narration. Thumbed up.
6:23 the company truck is PPD restorations
You sound calmer in this vid 😊 I don’t drive downtown just coz of all the jaywalkers who seem to have death wishes 😅
Always looking forward to your videos tho it sounds crazy cause that just means more crazy drivers
Thanks!
3:44 I was stuck here also trying to make to Whistler. Blows my mind how stupid people can be and the lack of common sense.
and I remember the CBC story about it. Buddy said he didn't "notice" that is "slipped out of place"....sure he didn't
8:45 looks like bubbles has moved out west
For future reference, the white dividers are called delineators not cones.
Boundary Road IS the answer....it's always been a mess
I wish the driver's test were a thousand percent more difficult.
I think fines for jaywalking should be higher and enforced
0:11 that’s literally near my house
Stay safe out there!
7:45 I said it before and I will say it again: always go for the leftest lane on a double left turn intersection. Because 1 out of 3 cars will do idiot moves like that. The risk is too high to take.
@3:02 That curve is slippery even with a bit of moisture the only time you can zip around is after it has been dry out for a day. Next time your over that way look at all the bumper scrapes on the concrete barrier.
I see alot of homeless people walking in the street not caring all the time.
Hence why the Downtown Eastside is a 30 zone which is ridiculous
Oh and I saw that audi on fire on hwy1 towards chilliwack . Must be hot day in August seen more than 10 cars along hw1 towards hope all had their hoods up....I will definitely send you some videos, seen some crazies out there
You know, I think I know why people don't own up to their mistakes and wrongdoings: It's because they never had to as kids! These kind of people were raised under parents who felt that their little Johnnies or little Sallies could do no wrong and never were punished for their actions. Now that they're in the real world, they think that they are always in the right, just like their parents raised them as.
tow truck in first clip: at first I was thinking that maybe he had his lights on or was just used to blocking roads (because you have to as a truck driver sometimes, especially a tow driver) but then I saw the ethnic symbol on the side of the truck and my latent racism decided to show up in my head and I just thought... we don't drive like that here, man. Typical stereotype that is rampant.
8:36 I gotta say, thats the RX-8 driver, he or she would be the least possible person to get into an accident because of how much he or she cares about the car.
Honestly, the jaywalking is mostly understandable. It's pretty bullshit how few crosswalks there are, especially for how gigantic the roads are in North America. And even when they're there, the pedestrians are the lowest part of the priority totem pole :(
I have no sympathy for jaywalkers who get hit by a car.
100%. If they die, its their fucking fault.
There should be a second channel just for Vancouver's worst cyclists. It is crazy how they are considered vehicles in one sense, and pedestrians in the liability sense. They can run lights and break any law, hit you, and you are at fault.
I find Taxi drivers to be some of the worst, they are supposed to be professional.
I was driving home at 1am, no one on the road, taxi driver cuts me off, then he makes a right turn😡
You never know what's going to happen on commercial drive, it's the wild West
actually these are the best drivers
1:25 dude went super saiyan
Canada traffic lights are stupid, we dont have road sensors, just old classic timers
FYI the Darwin awards are given posthumously.
ayeee my video made the cut haha!....Filip got so much content; I feel for the guy
Police in Vancouver or instructed not to ticket j Walker's or idiot cyclists.
Honestly though, doesn’t it seem like Richmond/ Vancouver/ Burnaby has the worst drivers?
They're everywhere 😅
Well i am early
Not everyone is malicious though some people just make mistakes.
appreciate your videos, but don't give driving advice.
This is why I am scared of driving....I may be doing all the right things, but heck so many idiots out these driving along side with you...thankfully we have pretty decent transportation system here in the city. Wait the guy cycling @6:45...is that even safe to be on that road? That pedestrian...she's lucky she hit that car on the side, instead ...damn and to thing the pedestrian is just a few steps away, that is pretty traumatic for the driver too you know.
Exactly....you could be an amazing driver yet still get hit by someone any ssecond!
I wonder what the common denominator is with drivers in Richmond.. 🤧
Cyclists bikers and jaywalkers are menaces on the road.
We nicely call them pedestrians instead of crack heads.
And my family wonders why I don’t want to drive
9:28 is King Rd and Riverside in Abbotsford. It's a major route for university students leaving class at the top of the hill. If there was a lineup of vehicles behind Ashley, someone got impatient. There's typically police in the area too because it's kind of a skeezy area, unfortunately.
@5:15 nope the divider was put up to keep the traffic flowing during rush hour it was not put up as a blocker.
Things are so very different on this side of the pond. We don't have "jaywalking" legislation, for one! Rather, motorists are expected to understand that cyclists and pedestrians are "more vulnerable" road users. But if they crossed somewhere stupid and you ended up hitting them, it wouldn't be held against you unless you were exceeding the speed limit or driving dangerously. People are expected to use their common-sense to cross safely and not put themselves or others in danger.
Thanks for the video! I look forward to seeing more.
I see that "half way in to the lane" maneuver at 7:30 a lot these days. After one close call (4 wheel disc brakes and ABS saved ICBC a lot of money that day...) the driver told me that he couldn't actually see the traffic so he pulled out anyway and assumed people would stop.
The boundary exit is dangerous. It's a very short off ramp with a sharp curve and a very hard to see crosswalk at the bottom.
3:32, that is our cycling community. We were thinking he should be in Vancouver any minutes now then we saw his twitter with hospital bed. Then it is the news comes afterward.
Cycling on sidewalk down southmarine, we now walk on the unused bike paths, problem solved.
Don't forget there's also those self-righteous cyclists that try to cut off drivers when the driver is almost finished doing a right turn
Whenever I see an Evo driver I pull over and hide behind the nearest tree... those people probably drive 2 or 3 times a year .... so as much as an L driver lol
Where's The Location For The Incident At 3:03
And the one for 9:32
Not sure on either of them unfortunately
I don't know how yield rules work in Canada, but in my opinion the white car at 07:54 had the right of way. I do not see any yield signs there. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
if u look closely, there is a stop sign or yield hiding in the shade of the tree there, also since the white car is turning right, it must yield to the cammer since the cammer was going straight unless indicated otherwise by a 3 way stop or a sign
All those were dangerous drivers except the last one which is meh.
Another great video. That first pedestrian clip was from me. It was a DTES "resident" having I'm assuming a drug-related meltdown over cars on the road. He screamed as I drove by him.
In that block I had a guy butt naked run after my car at 6am 😅
I was near Holdom station today, driving to try and get back onto the highway towards Grandview. I was entering an intersection and had a green with no on-coming traffic. The person sitting at the red light to my left decides to accelerate through the intersection as I'm turning. I stopped just in time to not get hit and they wave and apologize. As I pass them, they are reversing back behind the line. I'm really going to need a dashcam, unbelievable!
Dashcams are a must in Vancouver!
Put an air horn in your car, it helps and so does a dash cam.
I wanted to do a video of me air horning people but the problem is that they're illegal 😅
@@vancouversworstdrivers like even a row of horns on a Vespa wouldn't be a bad Video.
We got a dual dash cam in car now.... and everyone starts driving normal... figures
Lol just wait for it trust me
I saw the flipped SUV after doing my parts deliveries.(3:59) I heard from my coworkers that the SUV driver took the Boundary Road exit from East bound Hwy at a very high speed.
Oh snap! Hahah that's kinda funny though
The exit for Boundary Road was closed basically for the entire day. I passed on the freeway around 10 AM that day for work and saw that the exit was closed off, and then I went down still creek to get to Boundary and saw the flipped SUV. Came back through their at least 10 times (The warehouse I work out of is in the area) and yeah.. Still their till I got off work around 4
Yeah I remember that day. I was going southbound on Boundary just before the hill and underpass. Had to detour onto Still Creek Ave and saw the flipped over white pickup and I know I shouldn't have laughed but in my head, I was thinking just another bad Vancouver driver causing more issues.
7:38 I live right next to there
I only hope there will be a way where we can send in clip that clearly shows the vehicle’s license plate and the violation to the police and get them fined
I know the police sometimes do it...the problem is that if they dispute it then you would probably get called into court to testify which would really suck
Vancouver's Worst Drivers Dashcam very true indeed....some people might hate the hassle and appear in court ~ I only wish we can put an iron rule to dispel these chaotic and idiotic drivers off the road...or atleast a severe punishment
2:30 me in GTA
Quality content man.
Thanks!
2nd comment !! Yay
Loser :p
him making fun of richmond is so racist??? ...
Wanted to note that that RX-8 that hit that lady running. Was turning right and drifted wide into the other lane. Just sayin lol
