Yeah, it looks like my first playthrough (which was me picking whichever henchmen seemed cool) was apparently me assembling the A team with Eli, Jubei, Dr. Ming, Sir Daniel and Fugu. Didn't terribly mind Fugu's schemes since I learned to spot them easier after a while, and she did more work on the super agents than anyone besides Jubei with her pre-combat damage.
Have you used Janet remote detonation into a Super Agent? She literally makes 50-80 damage to J.Steele and he makes 45 damage and ends with 5-10 damage he can do. She literally disables Super Agents. She should be a B agent.
@@TeddyNinja She would be in D for me since a table does her 2nd ability better than her and also the Frigging table doesn’t take up a henchman slot and can get you money
Carl's trap isn't "buggy", their ware actually got too low and thus were unusable, needing a technician to repair them in order to become operable again. While your technicians can't repair the trap, you CAN turn them off to prevent the ware from going down, and activate them when you really need them. It's also the ONLY trap super agents won't disable, and will always fall for it, allowing it to deal 100 vitality damage to any supers caught in it (It's how I survived the final John Steele side story mission). He also deals about the same damage as Eli, and even Eli will only deal 5 damage to excellent quality agents, so I would say Carl's more of a C
for me during the final fight Carl was my best tank. If your playing as Emma hes one of my top picks since you can just make long hallway and 10+ mines and there goes about half of the FOJ right there
The achievement for getting every henchmen did say "some betrayal required" somewhere. I definitely saw that tied to it from somewhere, so im thinking that maybe that has something to do with Carl and Clara.
My understanding is the betrayal they meant is that with only 5 henchmen slots you have to double cross a few people to hire more. Where things break down is that if you recruit either clara or carl then you cannot finish the other's side story.
@@TeddyNinja Question, theres also an achievement for executing a henchmen, have you tried executing Clara or Carl and seeing if the other mission pops up?
I ran into this on my first playthrough - the hard and fast henchman limit. I wanted to try someone else, and, well... Carl's as disposable as this list would have you believe. Fitting that an artist such as him made such a nice statue... (I replaced him with Iris. I have no regrets.)
After a year this list needs to be revised. 1. IRIS (slow) 2. Doom Hilda (super slow and melee) 3. Espectro (slow and melee) 4. Jubei (melee and squishy) 5. Incendio (squishy) 6. FMJ (late game) 7. Daniel (late game) the rest are okay. Early availablility. Range attacks. Armored and Tanky. Speedy movement. are what you are looking for.
I'd say Fugu is good cause she can help you with heat and money and she is also kind of a tanker cause I sent her and Iris (no minions) to fight wrecking Bola and Fugu didn't even get downed so for me Fugu is A or S tier
i find eli is quite nice, however: 1: he opts to use his melee when i equip his revolver 2: i find jubei is just better because while lack of ranged is not great, being able to teleport between the inner sanctum, and kill a super agent in a small number of hits using his ability is incredibly useful.
I found that if you try to get him to shoot to close to an enemy he will go for melee even with his revolver activated. So I usually send him in after the initial fight and he will stay back and shoot.
I'd top Ming as an S, second only to Jubei. Her gas clouds handle groups of agents easily. Not as good, but Incendio's habit of staying in the casino, knocking and keeping down agents from range, makes them easily handled the second they enter the real lair. (This may have been nerfed in the patch, though)
Seen a number of streamers misunderstand the minion weapons, wrongly assuming guns must be better. No. Guards will be melee or ranged and go to find that type of weapon, so you need both. You need melee guards to keep the enemies in place while everyone else gets in position and shoots. If you only have guns then the enemies can move around and your ranged minions can only attack a few at a time while repositioning.
Would you look at that the henchmen that are best are all the Mussel type go figure Iris is the only exception ( please note I consider FMJ A tier combat wise just their map spam is a drag on their rating)
Fugu's blowfish explosion does not cause agent aggro, so you can use it in the cover operation as well, jsut be careful not to hit your deception minions. Her schemes also have a separate sillhouette in the shape of her head to distinguish them from other schemes and are always yellow. Incendio is intended to be a distraction henchman and not a combat henchman, so he mostly hangs out in the cover operation and shouldn't get into any fights unless you're microing him already.
At least that remark about the replacing destroyed items automatically came true along with some other stuff. Wonder where the DLC minions show on a list like this.
I personally like Clara Jones, as resolve damage is really good for good cover operations in preventing any left alone investigators, which is also why I would pair her with Eli, but as Clara also removes suspicion as well, she can be used to catch an investigator that made their way into your lair and got out, as Eli is only good for catching investigators before they enter your lair and had a look around, both are good abilities, also if Clara's trap buff works on loot items or Sir Daniel's trap then that's good too, since it's more of a deciding factor on what trap you want buffed then worrying about whether or not it triggers as no matter what, F.O.J. will go for the disarm unless you forced them into the trap or made it hard for them to get the chance. I personally like some micro management in my henchmen but Eli has 1 unreliability, in that his morale hardly ever drops without using silver-revolver, and by the time you aren't using it there is no one to be bothered with silver tongue anywhere as both that ability and heirs and graces require your henchmen and the FOJs to not be in combat, plus moral is never an issue with Eli who's biggest issue is other henchmen fighting due to recruitment missions and super agents where I.R.I.S. and Doomhilde are super strong tanks that can solo long enough to bring in backup or Jubei. as such I would rank I.R.I.S. as S tier along with the Doomhilde DLC henchman (even without her being able to go back up on stage which annoyed me that it was a one off) and bump Clara up a tier as if her trap ability affected Sir Daniel's trap and loot item traps it would be good as it's better against FOJs that you can't distract that well. Plus Heirs and Graces is personally a better ability compaired to Silver Tongued Devil, due to Moral never being an issue on Eli and it's only useful for preventing investigators from sneaking past your deception minions and getting them to leave quicker, as it's got a small amount of resolve damage. I still think Eli is S tier but he's the weakest, he's good early on as Silver Revolver 1 shots investigators and 2 shots soldiers but it'll be unloaded on super agents, and he's got a weak health bar when he's ganged up on. Carl Crawford makes me think of Adventures in Odyssey villains.
Haha, you're spot on with Carl being like the Odyssey villains. After making the list my value on non lethal ways to deal with agents has gone up, so would agree Clara probably deserves to be ranked a little higher.
1 way to see if it’s a generic scheme or a Main story scheme is to look at which character’s silhouette is on the scheme if it’s Jackie or Fugu it’s their generic scheme if it’s your genius’s evil mug on em its a main scheme
Eli does not deserve top billing. He is at best A-tier, or better yet a strong B. His non-combat ability is micro intensive, and he prefers melee to the gun you activate. Iris and Ming both deserve the S, being able to handle groups of agents. Jubei would be lone top tier but for 2 things, his teleport stops working when he is on stairs, and he gets stunlocked when fighting groups.
Apols if being a bit late to the party, been playing EG2 on PS5 since xmas. I tend to rate Iris > Eli or Jubei as starter henchperson since Iris' side story is an absolute nightmare on normal / hard given all the exploding robots that invade your lair. Worth recruiting up front just to avoid it imho. Absolutely fantastic summary and tier list, well done.
I like recruiting Iris first because her quest line is annoying and also she is a good Frontline specifically because she can heal very efficiently Magnolia I get last because she’s good but she also has a slightly annoying quest line that can just straight up glitch on you Fugu pears wonderfully with magnolia and she is just a decent subterfuge henchman Jubei is just a given And then Sir Daniel for the pure damage aspect because he can tap down Olga and her soldiers if I have enough goons/henchman in the way Basically making the response team this Fugu sprints and stun locks the enemies for the others the swordsman is already there smacking around boys Maggie has some hustle so she’s there by now to assist in the DPS/stunning And then Daniel and Iris appear because they slow and assist in the cleaning because Daniel can out damage a super agent and Iris can outlast a team of soldiers And then once everyone’s dealt with Maggie pops her heal and everyone goes about the day And then the genius stays in the sanctum sanctorum on the management floor indefinitely until they are needed
Damn I wish I knew about Jackie. I can’t get that achievement now till my next playthrough. I executed Eli, Janet and Incendio to make room. Currently using Jubei, Iris, Fugu and Dr. Ming. Have every intention of leaving Sir Daniel till last so I can pick him up. Iris was also my first, she is awesome. But Jubei is sooooo good as well.
I'm kinda dissapointed that while Jubei and in a sense Eli return from Evil Genius 1, Lord Kane doesn't. He was a MEAN melee attacker, but a man who could mess with agents all over the place.
thanks for the breakdown very good, as a side note your gameplay was fuzzy running at a slower rate but other then that thumbs up and a comment as your a swell guy with fantastic content my man!
Hi @teddyninja, incendio is actually alright, he needs to be kept at range but if you can do this in a empty room, he can almost permanently knock down level 9 soldiers, which is pretty good.
are you unaware of the little toggle that auto replaces items if destroyed or stolen. It's still a pain to do it to each item individually but it saves a lot of time in the long run. Maybe they added it sometime after this video.
Fugu is my S tier for sure. You can blowfish someone and stay out of combat. Feed them poison. After the cool down blowfish them again then feed them. If you do that 3 times you can kill Symmetry or any other super agent without losing a single minion. Fugu’s schemes have her face on them. Main quest schemes have your genius on them. Loot mission schemes have a lab flask icon. I never had an issue differentiating between them.
Why am I not surprised that the only two hold-over henchmen from the first game are also THE BEST HENCHMEN. The majority of the newbies are just not up to scratch. I seriously miss LORD KANE AND DR. NEUROCIDE, and will continue to hold them up as my favorites ( although I have to tip my hat to I.R.I.S., just because I am seriously into mad science, and she reminds me so much of the Maria Robotrix from METROPOLIS that I can't not mention it. ).
Okay first I want to say that Dr. Magnolia is my favorite, and I guess she is not S tier because she can only be recruited late game. Next, I want to say that I think you forgot one Henchmen being the Roboticist. I got her side story in my first playthrough as Maximillian with my starter henchmen being Barracuda. However in my second playthrough as Zalinka, my starter henchmen was I.R.I.S. and I did not get the Roboticist side story. I cannot tell you much about Roboticist because I executed her instead of recruit so maybe you can check it out. Edit: Okay I scrolled over the comments and I see you are aware of the Roboticist. Second Edit: Alright I feel like an idiot right now but after awhile I now realize that recruiting the Roboticist actually means you are building I.R.I.S. instead of stealing her parts from a factory. I actually thought the Roboticist was a henchmen that can create robotic minions.
Me when I have the old trio of Ivan, Eli, and Jubie. *Laughs in murdering Agents* What I find funny about Ming is that she wears a full Hazardous Suit instead of the “Genius” that has no protection for her arms. It’s sad that FMJ conflicts with so much as her stats and abilities are S tier while getting her is basically “Cripple yourself for a long time to get her” Janet I wouldn’t hesitate to betray as she’s just a bad Henchmen as she has a very delayed combat ability, her suspicion removal is very situational and only works on one Agent.
im curious on something you said, you said there is an achievment to recruit all the henchmen in one save, but i thought it was capped at 5 henchmen, how do you recruit all of them ?
I think there's a patch coming out soon that will allow you to recruit Sir Daniel even if you've killed the Super Agents. I really hope that's the case, because otherwise I'm screwed, because I'm on that side quest right now.
From what I've seen the patch's focus is on improving campaign progression speed. The devs didn't give any callouts to changing henchmen. They did mention the patch is bringing a lot of bug fixes, but I don't think Sir Daniel's side story being tied to the super agents is a bug. I'm with you in that I want it to get changed, but I'm not expecting this patch to change it.
@@TeddyNinja I'm hoping the part about, "...making sure that critical Schemes have room to spawn." includes stuff like Sir Daniel's quest line. At the very least, I would like to be able to cancel a side quest, so I can go after a different henchman for my five.
hey can I still get Sir Daniel if I did any of the agent quests? bc I may have done that a while ago and I want to still get sir Daniel and cant rewind
'm still on my first game through and am gutted that I cant get the henchmen I want because i've defated superagents already. If only the game told you.
Some of them are fixed. I've seen rumor Clara uses her guns, Carl and Daniels traps have been fixed so after they loose their durability they are destroyed. Also decor items have been fixed! I have a video out on how they work now.
Say if Janet's remote detonation actually disabled the weapon the agent is using and scramble interseption reduced heat in their region I think that would make her a better henchwoman
Good video, but your ingame footage seems to be like 15 fps.. Besides the normal guard table signals guards too, only difference on the advanced table is that you can have lock it to high tier combat minions only..
The dlc henchmen right now get added to the tier list at the end of their own reviews. Waiting for the end of season 1 DLC to do an update to this vid.
So the patch made her schemes a little less annoying, but for me personally until they change the icons for her schemes she's staying in B. That is my main issue, that the icon they use for her schemes is the same as the main story + side story schemes.
@@TeddyNinja Fugu is a chef right? should be better they implement a range attack for her, I mean throwing knife would be a good start, heck even her melee attack animation are ninja style XD
No, taking them as a started also locks you out of jackie's side story. Her side story features all those henchmen as crime lords she is selling to so they all have to be out there for the story line to happen.
depends on if you want a henchmen who patches up a weakness in the genius or plays into their strength. But overall I'd say Max - Eli (both well balanced characters) Red Ivan - Full metal jackie / incendio (maximum collateral damage) Zalika - Dr Ming is the best fit thematically and Sir Daniel fits because they both have long range attacks. Emma - Iris because emma can let her use reroute power twice back to back.
@@TeddyNinja Oh wow... That memetic cancer ? Nah, I'm passing hard on that if it actually does come. Something tells me Rebellion is, thankfully, too poor for that kind of license deal.
While he was a great henchman(along with a completely broken good ability), personally I'd like Lord Kane to be a genius - EG1 lore did say something along that line that he is usually the mastermind and was ust doing hench duty as an extra
I hate all of the henchman except Jebei because everyone else can never get to a fight and just freak out. Jubei can just teleport in which is really helpful.
I thought about getting this game, but the cost and bugs plus watching how boring it seems. I would probably get it if the voice lines were different and more fun, maybe.
Haha boom game roasted. If you're interested definitely check back when you see dlc release because the devs have said they want to patch things to speed up the game pace (and they are working to fix the bugs)
@@TeddyNinja thx teddy, that was my plan. It still looks enjoyable but with all the issues i see, its just not for me yet. The thing that i hated was the way the voice lines are all the same for the geniuses in side stories and at the start of the game. Other than that, just some bug fixs and should be great.
I just do that quest last night, rip my lottery maze of doom (well I probably don't need it) I try to capture the Robot creator but random tourist trigger the puppy of death and kill her by accident
Not yet, mega patch announced by the devs though. I'm expecting it in the next two weeks. They specifically call out balance changes to improve the game speed and they mention generally having more bug fixes, dunno if those will help Carl or if their focus is elsewhere right now.

Hmm, you make a good case. My best counter argument to keep her in C is that she makes cringy programmer puns.
@@TeddyNinja She would be in D for me since a table does her 2nd ability better than her and also the Frigging table doesn’t take up a henchman slot and can get you money
@@fitchfam6312 Table Henchman
@@cyanide7270 yeah the other side story doesn't come up. Steam says no one has gotten the achievement so it's definitely broken.
I ran into this on my first playthrough - the hard and fast henchman limit. I wanted to try someone else, and, well... Carl's as disposable as this list would have you believe.
Fitting that an artist such as him made such a nice statue...
(I replaced him with Iris. I have no regrets.)
This IS three years ago but they did change it where you can have one or the other and still achieve it, even I got it in my first play though.
After a year this list needs to be revised.
1. IRIS (slow)
2. Doom Hilda (super slow and melee)
3. Espectro (slow and melee)
4. Jubei (melee and squishy)
5. Incendio (squishy)
6. FMJ (late game)
7. Daniel (late game)
the rest are okay.
Early availablility.
Range attacks.
Armored and Tanky.
Speedy movement.
are what you are looking for.
I'd say Fugu is good cause she can help you with heat and money and she is also kind of a tanker cause I sent her and Iris (no minions) to fight wrecking Bola and Fugu didn't even get downed so for me Fugu is A or S tier
i find eli is quite nice, however:
1: he opts to use his melee when i equip his revolver
2: i find jubei is just better because while lack of ranged is not great, being able to teleport between the inner sanctum, and kill a super agent in a small number of hits using his ability is incredibly useful.
He sometimes uses (and shoots) his gun at point-blank.
I found that if you try to get him to shoot to close to an enemy he will go for melee even with his revolver activated. So I usually send him in after the initial fight and he will stay back and shoot.
My must-have henchmen are Fugu, IRIS, Sir Daniel, and Jubei. All I need is a henchman who can hit an agent's Skill.
Clara uses her guns now from what I’ve seen.
Eli was my first ever henchman. When I looked at the steam achievments and I read "execute your henchman" my heart broke 😭
Fully agree you need both :) That's why I prefer my henchmen to have both melee and range attacks.
Would you look at that the henchmen that are best are all the Mussel type go figure Iris is the only exception ( please note I consider FMJ A tier combat wise just their map spam is a drag on their rating)
Very insightful of you I love my fighters :)
Dr Ming and Fugu's combination= dead agent steele in 30 seconds. It's always so fun to stack their abilities up.
13:42 Reminds of the C&C Generals. AK47 FOR EVERYONE !!!!
Jubei can single-handedly take down symmetry by using flow. I like to use windfall to teleport him on her then activate it
At least that remark about the replacing destroyed items automatically came true along with some other stuff.
Can confirm clara can buff loot traps I get her everytime.
What's with the framerate? Is it a stylistic choice or something?
I advanced jubei's side story, Eli, ming, and Daniel, and I was still able to recruit Jackie. Keep in mind that I recruited her on Ivans campaign.
Yeah, i forget what patch it was from but they changed the requirements for recruitment on a few of the henchmen.
1 way to see if it’s a generic scheme or a Main story scheme is to look at which character’s silhouette is on the scheme if it’s Jackie or Fugu it’s their generic scheme if it’s your genius’s evil mug on em its a main scheme
I hope theh fix some of the issues you mentioned it really affects gameplay enjoyment especially as henchmen are 1 of my favourite aspects of game.
For sure. At least with the latest patch the devs showed they do want to put work in to improve the game.
Silver Revolver buffs Eli's melee too. I know, it's weird.
Hilariously I once activated the gun and he proceeded to run up and shoot the agents in the face.
I know this video is old, but the DLC henchmen are literally insane. Pyro and cabal are just too good it sucks they are behind a paywall
Pyro DLC costs no money and is therefore free.
the suggestion for a "replace destroyed items" button got my like!
I'm inclined to agree that in a world where you only take 1 henchman, or just plan on sticking with your starter for a while then Iris is the best.
Very useful and detailed, thank you!
No iris is dealing lot of damage when using ranged attack she has laser coming out of her eyes and deal lot of damage she got 2 ranged attack btw
I like recruiting Iris first because her quest line is annoying and also she is a good Frontline specifically because she can heal very efficiently
Magnolia I get last because she’s good but she also has a slightly annoying quest line that can just straight up glitch on you
Fugu pears wonderfully with magnolia and she is just a decent subterfuge henchman
Jubei is just a given
And then Sir Daniel for the pure damage aspect because he can tap down Olga and her soldiers if I have enough goons/henchman in the way
Basically making the response team this
Fugu sprints and stun locks the enemies for the others the swordsman is already there smacking around boys
Maggie has some hustle so she’s there by now to assist in the DPS/stunning
And then Daniel and Iris appear because they slow and assist in the cleaning because Daniel can out damage a super agent and Iris can outlast a team of soldiers
And then once everyone’s dealt with Maggie pops her heal and everyone goes about the day
And then the genius stays in the sanctum sanctorum on the management floor indefinitely until they are needed
do you have a tier list that includes recruitable super agents and DLC henchmen?
I'm a bit curious I can recruit him, especially I think I do the second side quests of Agent X, Atomic Ogla, and Ms Foxworth
You will be able to still get Sir Daniel as long as you haven't taken the agent side stories all the way to completion.
Is there an update vid with all the dlc????
they definitely fixed the guards not picking up better weapons, my crew upgrades their weapons and work awesome at keeping the bad guys handled.
Might take them a day... after sleeping, eating or one good fight but they do indeed raid the armory.
Sounds like you've built a solid team, good luck on Jackie, I wish the game would warn you before you lock yourself out.
Thanks! Upgrades are in the works :)
Hi @teddyninja, incendio is actually alright, he needs to be kept at range but if you can do this in a empty room, he can almost permanently knock down level 9 soldiers, which is pretty good.
The game has slow pacing, but it's fun. I still am on playthrough 1 as Max and Sir Daniel is still my right-hand man, above Janet Bombe and Incendio.
Nice :) yeah I wish the game was paced a little faster, especially when I'm focusing on stories one at a time to make videos.
are you unaware of the little toggle that auto replaces items if destroyed or stolen. It's still a pain to do it to each item individually but it saves a lot of time in the long run. Maybe they added it sometime after this video.
I love Eli Barracuda Jr when I get the game on console he will be the first henchmen I get
Fugu is my S tier for sure.
NEUROCIDE, and will continue to hold them up as my favorites ( although I have to tip my hat to I.R.I.S., just because I am seriously into mad science, and she reminds me so much of the Maria Robotrix from METROPOLIS that I can't not mention it. ).
It's sucks that Eli Barracuda Jr doesn't have BoomBox like his father...
FUNKY!
problem with jackie is that you cannot remove the pistols from any mercs who get them.
tldr: WHY IS NOONE EQUIPPING RIFLES- oh they have pistols.
Yeah I wish jackie handed out rifles, but they went with hand guns to make their pun.
Nice Suit!
did you not do the restructure of the henchmen tier list like i think i heard you say a few times? With the super agents
My guy I got or murdered all the minions you listed for Jackie and still got her.
Yep, they have given us some nice quality of life updates so the video was released :)
My lineup is I.R.I.S., Dr. Ming, Jubei, Fugu, and Incendio. I also got Clara Jones, but I was disappointed with her skills and killed her.
Me when I have the old trio of Ivan, Eli, and Jubie.
*Laughs in murdering Agents*
What I find funny about Ming is that she wears a full Hazardous Suit instead of the “Genius” that has no protection for her arms.
It’s sad that FMJ conflicts with so much as her stats and abilities are S tier while getting her is basically “Cripple yourself for a long time to get her”
Janet I wouldn’t hesitate to betray as she’s just a bad Henchmen as she has a very delayed combat ability, her suspicion removal is very situational and only works on one Agent.
Haha the boys all go out drinking, swapping stories from the original game, and they leave Janet to lock up back at base.
So far, I'm using doomhilda, pyro and IRIS they seem a good team for me
You look like a boss man whith that nice suit 😄👍
Thank you for making this video, Very helpful and informative. Team Eli and Max!
im curious on something you said, you said there is an achievment to recruit all the henchmen in one save, but i thought it was capped at 5 henchmen, how do you recruit all of them ?
You can execute a henchman in fact there is an achievement for doing so.
@@ak318 thanks, i didnt realise you could do that, i thought there would be some uber mission to send them out and then you can get another.
@@BrotherAlpha haha, be able to cancel a side quest and go back to the list? You're asking a lot brother alpha :P
hey can I still get Sir Daniel if I did any of the agent quests? bc I may have done that a while ago and I want to still get sir Daniel and cant rewind
'm still on my first game through and am gutted that I cant get the henchmen I want because i've defated superagents already. If only the game told you.
Don’t bother with super agents as henchmen. Some are useful but in general even the worst henchmen is better than a super agent
Holy sh#t I got the S tiers on my first play through, like they are my only two henchmen
Did they ever go back and fix these bugs? Given the state of the rest of the game (rip functional decor items), probably not, right?
Some of them are fixed. I've seen rumor Clara uses her guns, Carl and Daniels traps have been fixed so after they loose their durability they are destroyed.
Also decor items have been fixed! I have a video out on how they work now.
just found this channel since i saw you subscribers i subbed to help you :) have a good day
Where do the three dlc henchman rank?
This is a fun list, even though I disagree with some of the placements. I.R.I.S. is S tier for sure 😅
I do love IRIS, I was very torn on some of the A tier candidates because I wanted to keep S tier very exclusive.
Say if Janet's remote detonation actually disabled the weapon the agent is using and scramble interseption reduced heat in their region I think that would make her a better henchwoman
Isn't there a dlc one coming soon?
Yes, we have a roadmap for a new campaign, henchmen, minions, and items though I am not aware of dates right now.
I’m new to the game. I recruited my computer (IRIS) and i noticed it read “you can only recruit ONE henchman. Will I be able to replace her?
I answered my question by watching your vid :) thanks !
It sucks how one of the loot items requires you to bring clara along
Good video, but your ingame footage seems to be like 15 fps.. Besides the normal guard table signals guards too, only difference on the advanced table is that you can have lock it to high tier combat minions only..
Are you able to get The Roboticist?
Yes and no
*Spoilers*
She makes the body for Iris
B seems to be balanced pros and cons to them all
Are you gonna include the dlc henchmen?
The dlc henchmen right now get added to the tier list at the end of their own reviews. Waiting for the end of season 1 DLC to do an update to this vid.
Fugu only has one scheme per region since the patch. Guess you can switch her up a level.
@@ahhou5800 oh man, I don't know if the world is ready for range attack fugu ;)
Ok, good sir.
Good question here: Can you start with Jubei/Eli and not lose Full Metal Jackie?
No, taking them as a started also locks you out of jackie's side story.
Her side story features all those henchmen as crime lords she is selling to so they all have to be out there for the story line to happen.
@@TeddyNinja Such garbage. How did any of this get past QA? They JUST posted stuff on twitter about how important QA is....
So what hungmen you recommend for each evil genius
depends on if you want a henchmen who patches up a weakness in the genius or plays into their strength. But overall I'd say
Max - Eli (both well balanced characters)
Red Ivan - Full metal jackie / incendio (maximum collateral damage)
Zalika - Dr Ming is the best fit thematically and Sir Daniel fits because they both have long range attacks.
Emma - Iris because emma can let her use reroute power twice back to back.
this would be taken seriously if the gameplay was not glitchy
I think it's the whole upload. Even his face cam has a super low framerate.
Hopefully Season Pass adds Lord Kane and certain other guys.
I still don't exactly understand why Jubei went from a sword to a staff, but fiiine :3
Personally I'm hoping for Gru and Megamind coming in the season pass, but there are a bunch of potentially awesome characters we could get :)
@@TeddyNinja Oh wow... That memetic cancer ? Nah, I'm passing hard on that if it actually does come. Something tells me Rebellion is, thankfully, too poor for that kind of license deal.
@@viewtiful1doubleokamihand253 I think you are more on the right track and we'll see someone return from the first game.
While he was a great henchman(along with a completely broken good ability), personally I'd like Lord Kane to be a genius - EG1 lore did say something along that line that he is usually the mastermind and was ust doing hench duty as an extra
@@Zen17h this makes more sense, yess)
Went to get Sir Daniel, and softlocked myself because I had already killed Agent X. Very annoying..
Yeah, the least the game could do would be to warn you that your decisions on those side stories would have consequences.
I hate all of the henchman except Jebei because everyone else can never get to a fight and just freak out. Jubei can just teleport in which is really helpful.
Jubei is so good :)
I already miss The Matreon
I've somehow managed to recruit Jackie especially I did recruit Eli, Jubei, and Daniel idk how that possible
Patch 1.3 updated the requirements for getting jackie :)
At least not annoying as Janet side quests she is annoying especially messing your Generator
@@yashida1999 yeah, the one I hate the most is IRIS with the exploding fire causing guards.
I just do that quest last night, rip my lottery maze of doom (well I probably don't need it)
I try to capture the Robot creator but random tourist trigger the puppy of death and kill her by accident
Ok that explains why I never get Jackie
Is carl fixed yet?
Not yet, mega patch announced by the devs though. I'm expecting it in the next two weeks. They specifically call out balance changes to improve the game speed and they mention generally having more bug fixes, dunno if those will help Carl or if their focus is elsewhere right now.
What do you mean by exclusive ? To the season pass ?
What is the maximum number of henchmen you can have under your control?
You have slots for 5 at a time.
If you want to add after that you will have to execute someone.
I wish these videos were not like 10 fps
You and me both... some upgrades are in store for the channel in the near future
