I loved the scene from the Mandalorian SO much, I know this was the whole point of it but it actually made the AT-ST legit scary and an actual threat, love it, as for soldering the magnets i believe its the heat that ruins the magnetism.
Yup, the heat starts to move the atoms around (which is what heat treatment does to create a stronger material) which in turn messes with the electrons' spin direction, which is what gives a magnet it's properties.
Dave, try using liquid silver (not silver pigments) paint to create a circuit to the LED. It can be primed over and you can paint it onto a magnet, so you can use them as you originally intended.
@@MSPaints it's the coolest/goofiest fucking thing I have seen in a long time. I want to do mine in a 70s conversation van style, call it the Rancor's Wraith or the Night Sister. I would love to see you take on the aesthetic in the style of New Hope.
@@MSPaints that's EXACTLY what i was hoping for! You let me know if you want to do this business and I'll provide the funds for this beautiful nonsense.
Each to his own I say, as after all not everyone puts their models on exactly the same scenic base areas. So what could be sandy or crossing a hillock to gain a better shooting position, could be judged as whatever.
Totally .. You create Good Magic that is entertaining ... kinda like a woman's skirt: long enough to cover the subject and short enough to create interest. 👌😎💚

The model was great but I need more of that billboard in the back during the glamor shot!
hahaha, it's certainly inspired and gets a chuckle whenever we have a game!

Looks deeeeeeeecent bro 👌
Damn this looks cool!
Have the AT-ST Walker and core set of the empire starwars legion
What spray varnish did you use?
Do you have a video of how you did the lighting? I'm looking for resources on how to do LED lighting on model.
Just put them inside, ran speaker wire out some drilled holes and there’s a battery clip under the head! Nothing fabcu
My bad. I think I commented on the wrong video. I was looking for links to the LED, Wires and other parts.
Awesome video man. I just subbed. Keep up the great work. Richie
Thanks Richie. Subbed you back, much love!
A sunny window ledge? In the UK???
Rare! But not unheard of! Baha
Farq me...only 3 hours for this result? Very nice.
I have already spent 2 hours on mine, only to have it primed and base coated so far.
Very decent for 3 hours, would love to get another and spend even more time on it haha
What are the chances of you painting a n A A5 Speeder Truck? Would the chances be improved if I bought you one?
The campervan looking thing? I’ve been debating it! Hahaha

I’ll be honest I’d probably stick and awning and a barbecue outside it. And a Seagull hahaha

To be fair Boba would get smashed if Bossk got a hold of him. But Jango would paint a room red and green with them.....fuck we need a Jango model
looks better than any ILM model
I wouldn’t go that far! 40 years on and I’m still trying to figure out how to top them

I never knew you couldn't solder magnets either.
Neither did I. Went through about 10 of them before I realised something was off.
I didn't know you couldn't sauder magnets...
Neither did I until I killed a load of them haha
All hail the Imperial Algorithm.
All hail!
👍😊💚
Keep that algorithm fed!

You can’t solder magnets?! For real?
For real, man. The soldering iron killed em all, haha
If i ''lit up'' my Tau army i could see how shit it really is.
