Hey Jayden, if you know me from my main channel well, it’s me :) I tried Bamboo Airways premium economy from Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City, well although you got it free from tier access. I actually upgraded from economy to premium economy via mile redemption, I redeem 1700 miles for the seat. Also, the experience on VN-A818 or Sam Son Beach. Still an awesome product, and yes we both did a trip report on it :)
@@JaydenWong the upgrade cost me $50, but since 1700 miles is insanely cheap, and I got about a lot of miles in my pocket it's time to use it to my advantage. saving $50, out of a 1000 AUD return fare is small, but big savings as well :)

Your flatmate has a funny sense of humour, doesn't she ? At last a decent size loo on a plane, and a nice touch to have fresh flowers in it too. Food looked great, and premium economy looked quite comfy, too.

I have flown on the 787-9 in premium economy on American airlines and it’s just like the first class seats on their 737s and a320s. Yours looked similar on Bamboo Airways but for sure your food was much more delicious than on American! Hope to see you soon, Jayden ❤️✈️🎄

That’s a nice experience tho with Bamboo Airways, the service started by a snacks followed with a hot meal, yeah the portion is quite tiny, and the pasta does look average. The second meal services is also pretty good, that meal looks absolutely delicious though. 3:01, I just amazed with Garuda that has open the MEL routes again (from both Jakarta and Bali). Can’t wait for you to review it anytime soon😆
the MEL CGK inaugural was the day I flew this, Melbourne Airport and Garuda boss were giving a speech whilst I was boarding at the gate next to the Garuda a330 :)

I would like to ask you 3 questions: 1) Are you not afraid to fly with relatively new or unknown airlines? 2) Are you scared of turbulence? 3) I feel and concerned that the growth in demand/volume of people wanting to fly, is exponentially higher than the aviation industry ability to supply enough experienced pilots or to train new pilots. 1. no, I usually find it exciting! 2. no, I love the thrill haha 3. Authorities make sure it's safe before a green tick is given. For example, Bonza is a new start-up airline in Australia, everyone is excited to fly with them because it'll fly on routes that no airlines covered before and lower prices. But they're not given a certificate yet so they're certainly not rushing with regards to safety and compliances !
While the product is definitely premium economy, from what I saw in this video...seems like some of the crews are...."economy lite". They could have smiled a bit and said "good , how are you? , please take this way", instead of "this way" only...combined with the lack of smile.
Yep Bamboo has great value fares if you book early. The cheapest I’ve seen was AUD180 one way Australia-Vietnam. Jetstar lowest fare without bags would be $200+
Bamboo doesn't sell premium, they only offer it to members who've booked economy so I could not answer that question haha :) Service and meals are the same
Question: you never mention luggage allowance/ check inn/ tracking. Is it because you never have checked inn luggage? Or because it is no issue for you?
I don't mention because that varies between travellers. A good example was my Perth-Hong Kong flight back in September, Cathay has 23kg and 30kg packages on their site. I booked through Qantas (codeshare) and their cheapest fare was offering 30kg. Memberships also offer more too and again platinum status has more allowance than gold and silver etc. So it'll be very complicated to go through all that :) Same as air fare, you'd notice I normally say in my video "the airfare starts from $xxx" rather than "I paid $xxx" because say I've got a connecting flight, the airfare I paid then becomes irrelevant to the video.

This seems to be a better alternative to jetstar, given the price and service.
