Thanks for the review (s)! 😂
Your mic set-up worked great. Even though I wasn’t using headphones 😮, I could tell that the Limba had slightly better bass response. Your enthusiasm and natural charm really makes your presentations fun and interesting; and your knowledge and skill makes them informative and helpful. Thanks for doing what you do! You are appreciated.
Thanks a lot my friend! Glad you like the videos ;)
I could compare both, the Limba and Eucalytus model side by side and bought the Euca. In my ears it has a much warmer tone and more precise attack at the same time. The Limba sounded more resonant "bell" like what I don't like at all.
"Snare" or better string response is perfectly adjusted ex factory, so at least for me no need to adjust. I played some gigs with my Euca, even unamplified it sounds great, even open air and it is very robust. Also very light weighted cajon which is a huge avantage for me. New makes have 2x4 strings now, I`m perfectly satisfied with my 2x3 Eucalyptus. Yes a bit of snare in the bass (I like), but depending on playing technique you almost can get pure, deep bass. I never had a cajon before with such a delicate response and sounds better than some 2 or 3 times pricier ones. Mr. Pepote did a great job, imho by far the best cajon for the price of 229 Eur. At my local shop I could test about 30-40 different cajons from 100 to 800 Eur, when I played the Minera Euca I fell in love immediately. If you never tried a good peruvian style cajon, go for it. They outperform all snare cajons and Pepote by Meinl is simply fantastic.
Great! I'm happy for you. Enjoy your new cajon! ;)
i love your t-shirt what's it called?
How do you hold it to move it? isn't the hole too low?
It's even easier to carry it. I just hold it from the straight part on the bottom and carry it upside down.
@@CajonMaster noice. Cool - is it available outside of USA? I'm in India 🙈
@@shinodbm I don't know. Did you check on Amazon?
What kind of Microphone are u using in this video?
Sir, Is CB 65 good to play ?
Don't know this model, sorry
I prefer the look and sound of the Limba and appreciate the deep bass sound, snare and sides. The only thing for me is that I like a bass sound with no snare with it and there was a little, though it was a bass snare. It's a matter of personal taste and I do tend to sacrifice snare to get as pure a bass sound as possible.
You're right, it's a mater of taste. But the bass has a good tone though :)
Hi Felipe, thanx for this review and all your contribution 😉 my question is about the setting of strings using the allen key, could you modify the sound by adjusting the strings (allen screws) in order to get closer to peruvian/cuban cajons regarding the tone, I know it won't be similar but it could be cool to have different range of tones, thanx 🙏
this model does not have the option to tune the strings. However other models of the Artisan line have the option of adjust/tune the strings, but if you're looking to have a peruvian sound is beetr to look at peruvian type cajons or snare cajons that come with the on&off snare system.
@@CajonMaster Hi Felipe, thanx for your reply, pity that model does not have this option, maybe the Tango model does this option to tune the strings 😉
You say that this Cajon has a lot of bass. The Meinl Artisan Buleria line is one I would like to see this compared to. Which one, between the Artisan Minera line and the Artisan Buleria line has the biggest bass and deepest bass?
Thanks for the suggestion! I will make a comparison soon ;)
These are beautiful! Thank you for all you do
thanks! :)
Thank you for the review!
thanks for watching! glad you like it ;)
A lot of snare!
It's true, there is more snare sound than other artisan cajons. Thanks for your comment!
@@CajonMaster do you know about Atempo cajon?
these are the true peruvian cajon
@@crossbejar Yes, Atempo is a great cajon. However, it's a peruvian type, with less snare. I personally prefer flamenco cajons with strings or snare cajons with snare wires in the inside. i think it's more versatile to play different music styles. Which cajon do you have?
q massa!!
Valeu Enzo!
