I love my new Meinl Artisan Tango Line cajon! I almost cancelled my order because I thought I was happy enough with the LP Americana. But there's a world of difference. This super-sensitive cajon picks up everything! Since I'm a former piano player I often use individual fingers on the top snare, and it sounds nice and snappy. Tomorrow I get to try it out playing with my husband at Dick Cohn's Porch Concert in Saint Paul, MN! We are the Don Scott Blues Duo :)

I just ordered one after watching your video. It's my 3rd cajon. My current one is the LP Americana. To fill in the bass for our duo, instead of depending entirely on the cajon, I bought a PorchBoard and a bass amp modeler.Thanks for the info. I enjoy your energy :)

Artisan Tango or Snarecraft Professional? They are in the same price range and as I understood, one is a flamenco cajon and the other one is snare. Which one better covers more styles?

how about the experience you have with both, i got tango limba last week and felt like needed more bass, now planning to have jumbo bass as well. Is jumbo bass good accompany with modern music you think? lets say pop, rock, hiphop?

Pepote Básico has the same Limba tapa, 2x5 strings un V and 12mm and costs the same.. Great Meinl cajón anyway if you dont hace chance to pick a pepote

I'm looking for my first cajon and this one is one of the best for my budget, but I was having a look at the Woodcraft Cajon Pro series WCP100MB, which is not handcrafted but has a thicker body (12mm). Do you think it would be a better choice in terms of sound quality? I wouldn't use it for recording, but just for playing it in jam sessions with friends, indoor and outdoor. Thank you for your great contents!
