- The plaintiff says she and the defendant dated for three years - until she caught him cheating. Now she can’t collect on the multiple loans she gave him, so she’s suing him for the outstanding amount. The defendant claims the money was a gift. He’s countersuing for two windows, plus pain and suffering.

I’m glad the judge told her the cold hard truth. She was already pregnant with two beautiful babies then going back to the man who rejected her before and give him money.

I have been trying to tell young women this for years. In Waiting to Exhale, it might have looked empowering and badass when Angela Basset put all of her cheating husband's items in a car and set it on fire, but in reality you can get in TROUBLE for doing that.
A friend of mine learned that the hard way when she decided to put bleach all over her boyfriend's clothes. He sued her and won, so instead of moving on she sitting at home alone owing him money while he's off living his life with the woman he cheated on her with. I can't believe this girl broke windows and didn't think that could factor into anything.

I don’t feel for her. There were so many red flags 🚩 🚩🚩. Off and on before you got pregnant by another man. You knew he was living with his baby mama. So you were waiting for things to mess up between them so you could slide in there. He needed help paying bills for his place since the baby mama moved out (his other source of income). You knew he was messing around because he was doing that with you. His sisters kept telling you yet you didn’t listen. The judge tried to tell you again and you still weren’t listening! Just rambling about him hurting you.
Sometimes, the absence of a father or a father figure in a female's life can have a longtime effect on her self-esteem. She'll start looking for love in all of the wrong places and attract attention from the wrong ppl. Apparently, her father wasn't active in her life.

Don't get mad because the judge chose to get MARRIED AND ESTABLISHED before she had kids. Smart women choose good men and require MARRIAGE before they spit out babies. It's not her fault 90% of black women have no standards. Black women need to take a lesson from her, not be mad at her. 2 parent households don't happen by accident. I think this was necessary. She's 24 and needs a huge dose of reality because life is only going to get harder. Obviously, the role models in her life did her no justice because she doesn't have a clue. It's def a lesson learned and she should have just moved on instead on coming to court honestly.
Actually their relationship has a huge part in if this was a gift or a loan. Background is very important. Especially since it doesn't look like they had a written agreement.
I also want you to understand two things. One this is TV. The story is needed for the drama aspect. And second, the judge has read their own sworn statements about the situation before she sees them. They add things to it, and she goes on that.

She stated before, that she was not going to have children until she was married. To me, that is what smart women do. For you to say that 90% of Black women have no standards is a LONG STRETCH. I was wondering, is that applicable to white women that live in trailers or camper parks? You know, the kind that marry their cousin when they are 12.
She didn’t award the money in her favor because she was trying to teach her a paid lesson. He’s a piece of trash, his story was a crock of BS, and JM knew it. But, she rather teach her a paid lesson. Sad, but she should have given her the money he took from her (since she has mouths the feed). That girl is still hurt because of the manipulation he endured on her. I pray she finds peace and her worth.
The judge didn't award her the money because she lacked evidence that the money given was a loan.
The plaintiff had 2 things going against her:
1. She had absolutely nothing in writing that backs up her claim that the money she gave that 🤡 was a loan (& not a series of gifts)
2. The fact that she admitted to "loaning" more money to someone who hadn't repaid her any money from the 1st $1600.
(Odd behavior for someone who intends on being repaid)
The judge did what she was supposed to do.
She ruled based on the evidence provided 💯
Court isn't about who can tell the more sympathetic story, it's about who can prove to an impartial 3rd party that they in the right.
If all you show up to court with is a sob story & hurt feelings, you should expect to lose.
She sued and she gets to give him more money, the gravy train seems to never end for this guy.

OMG. This is one thing I thank Goddd!! I never did was give out my hard earned money that I’ve earned and was earning for my son and I. My son just turned 24 and he said everything he learned on how he was brought up and how I did things like go to work every single day and provide for my son. He said he tells all his friends he never needed for anything because of his mom. Plus I recently earned 3 degrees stopping at my Master’s degree and he is studying for his Bachelor’s. Ladies always remember children are sponges and will remember how you bring them up. We have to work hard to provide not only for our children or kid, but for ourselves. I would never let a bum use me!!✌🏾
