If people would only turn to Christ, they'd find the love to forgive. I see the son just shaking his head, walking away & saying 'I guess I have no mom, now.' Sad.
All this over a shopping cart? Clearly there’s more to the story, but disowning your son??? This lady has so much anger it’s unbelievable. Didn’t she say she’s on dialysis? Life is too short ppl!
I sometimes get frustrated when judge Milian acts like something is crazy simply because she herself wouldn't do that. The fact that she was basically like 'oh I don't knooow- you locked your mom up, maybe you are a theif' annoyed me so much. Clearly his mother is not your mother. Clearly he grew up different and circumstances are different. CLEARLY they don't interact the same way you and your mother do. And then to say 'i don't know, grown ups don't move in with their mother's was again super shady and condescending. Just because you would never doesn't mean it doesn't happen in the real world
When my husband & I moved in together after 2yrs, his mother acted like I broke up her marriage. She acted more like his lover than a mother. That mother & daughter inlaw jealousy is REAL!
Yes. Parents act out when they're children start to be happy with other people. Things change and time and resources go to partners and the growing pains start. I wish parents would just be happy for their kids and let them live their lives instead of trying to remain the center of attention. If you're that in law please stop. All you do is create problems for your kid's house.
@Tiger Bandaid trust and believe it’s not just a black mother-in law thing. It’s a mother and son thing it’s all races unfortunately. It’s not a race thing
I’m sorry I have to disagree with a judge as far as adults might having to move back in with their parents…….my mother raised me to be very independent and responsible but at one point in time I was struggling however I never told my mom. When she found out she was upset and told me if I ever needed her financially or if I ever needed to move back in with her it didn’t matter how old I was she’ll always be in my corner. I would never want to do that but at least I know I have a loving mother that will help me when I’m really in need. So just because an adult has to Temporarily move back in with their parents doesn’t make them less than anybody else. Sometimes people fall on hard times and need help I don’t see the issue with that.
You are lucky you have mother she might be educated, has enought money but not all mothers and in this case the mother she might never been in school. Don't be fooled by his well dressed maybe his father not around to teach him how to behave and respect his mother. And she didn't turn her back on them she took them in her house but they didn't apprecaite her and I'm sure his gf parents did the same to them otherwise why didn't they go to her parents for help if she's the problem? to all men if your mother and gf/wife they don't like each others, then don't bring them with you when you visit your mother leave them in the house or at the mall or where ever. And if your mothe house dirty bring some house keeper to help your mother cleaning her house. Just appreciate what she did for you when she was pregnant of you, deliver you, fed you spent money in educate you and raised you.
No. there is no issue with that at all..i've had my own place for years and im over my grandparents and moms house WAY more than my own... so much so that i give them a little money for their bills too...i just like being there and they like me being there too.
@@so_many_women_so_little_ti2833 No real mother would say "he's dead to me" over a shopping cart. The Mom wasn't crippled or fragile, she seems very able bodied to me. Walked in and out of that courtroom just fine. If I can clean my house pregnant with twins, then so can she. Maybe if she didn't spend so much time being hateful, her life would be better. A lot of you need to learn how to read a person's energy. Her energy is so hateful, and I felt it immediately.
Definitely with these times. I haven’t lived with my mother since I was in my early 20’s right after I finished my undergraduate degree. I left at 23 and have not been back since. But my mother and stepdad would let me back if I need to. I’m 28 in a relationship and a law student but if I have to go back im not less than. Nor is anyone else

I believe him when he says his family is dysfunctional. He's probably exhausted dealing with it and is ready to move on with life. Seems like his girlfriend isn't causing him as much grief as his mom but I wouldn't have gone so far to have her arrested. That seems heartless.
How was it heartless? She kept hitting the girl. lol What was they suppose to do? Accept the abuse bc she's old? Nah, there's consequences to ones abusive actions. She deserved to be in jail for a few days.
Didn't she say she called the police not because she was hitting her but because she violated the protection order by calling her? Block her. Don't have her arrested. And if an old woman kept hitting me I'd LEAVE. I wouldn't call the police on her.
He and the girlfriend could've easily moved to a hotel instead of dumping their kid on the mom & making her miss Dialysis. They're both pathetic leeches.
Major issues within the family dynamics. My family had our own issues but my mom always cared and loved her children. Sadly not all families are like this. Hope they work it out in the future.
I think a lot of people misunderstand a dysfunctional family situation. When your grown and moving past the disfunction. You can't repair the relationship. You just open the door for drama. You can sabotage everything you worked for.
Exactly. Sometimes the only way to not have to deal w the toxic drama & possible childhood trauma you have to cut ppl off for you to keep your sanity. I know I did & amazingly as soon as I did, my life, my own mental health, etc.. drastically improved.
Any mother that would say their son is dead to them over petty crap like $60, grocery carts, canned food, their girlfriends, etc., is vile and gross. She seems a little unhinged, tbh.
This lady sounds like she’s suffering from mental illness and the son may not know how to recognize the signs of that but he should look into getting her help instead of trying to even the score so much
I have never understood why people who are not married use the terms 'husband' and 'wife' and expect others to do so, too. At worst, it's very deceiving and at best it is confusing as hell.
My ex fiance called me his wife in front of a few of his family members and I proudly said, I am NOT his wife, we aren't married. If people want the title, get married.
@Tiger Bandaid I've heard that lots of times. If they feel like that person is their husband or wife, they will correct people when they don't use those labels. And will get mad if you don't.
It's quite prevelent in today's world, every race, religion, and creed. When mother's make their sons 'their man', in all aspects except for sex, this is what happens when husbands or boyfriends are not in the picture. Until sons have the cajones to put down boundaries, this will continue. It's disgusting imo.
The son’s fault. His mother didn’t buy his drugs and forced feed it to him. My mother raised me and all of my 5 siblings and only one of us grew up to be a user. It’s wasn’t cuz of the way my parents raised her it was her choice to use. If it was the way my mother raised her then all of her would have been users.
The defendants did NOTHING wrong in this case. You can tell mama is abusive, a liar, and ignorant asf. They tried to blame everything on the gf, make it seem like she needs to tone it down concerning the bf and his mother relationship, but she did nothing wrong. lol Literally zero wrong except defend herself, and even then, her bf was the one who said call the cops.
Many adults need to stay with their parents for intermittent periods of time. It is between the parent and their offspring, and no reason to shame anyone for that arrangement
Mother or not. You don’t have the right to put your hands on anyone. I wouldn’t have called the police and had my Mom arrested.. I would’ve left to keep the peace and respect in the family and more importantly, keep my girl and kid away from where they’re clearly not wanted! Sad case for $60 and the airing of dirty laundry on both sides! 🙈
I agree with you in every things you said except they didn't say that her grand child/s not welcome. I'm sure she loves then to the death. If my mother and my wife have issues I will keep my wife away from my mother but I will come and visit her aqnd make sure she's ok and have enought food and bring someone to help her to clean her house not say her house dirty. or only when you are in trouble you come crawling to your mother asking for her help. After what she did for you from the day you become Embryo until you become a big guy. Shame on you big son. I don't plame her when she said "He's dead for me"
Super sad how common these types of families are, coming from one...I can only empathize. No one picks their family, some get lucky, some get a bad deal and some can't be happy no matter what...but you can pick your friends and surround yourself with positive people. You're a product of your own environment.
About the roach thing- My grandmother (may she Rest In Peace) lived in a low-income building in Far Rockaway, and she was super clean and OCD about her little apartment. There still were roaches because it was a building issue. Sometimes it's not the person, but their environment. Treating a house is different than treating a building or several connected units for roach (or other insect) infestations.
Too true! I moved into a spankin brand new apt, freshly painted, etc., and it STILL had roaches due to the building in San Francisco. That poor manager tried everything short of dynamiting the unit😂. He was such a nice guy, but at the end of the day I was out of there in one month. I just can’t live with roaches.
The mom has issues...deep rooted issues. No matter what the son says or does for her it will never be good enough. Sad she doesn't even claim her grandbaby 😪
I feel terrible for her son. I won't lie, I have some pretty serious issues, but I am *so* grateful to jy son for EVERYTHING he does to help me. We had to put down our cat 3 days ago. Mango was 19, and my Companion Animal. He had a fabulous life, and a beautiful crossing., and I couldn't have done it without my son's help. The private cremation, along with the engraving on his urn was freaking expensive, not to mention the weekend after hours rates (the people were amazing, though, no complaints, there!). My son paid for everything, but my sister and I are reimbursing him half the cost because I brought him up to not be a BUM, by leading by example! He insists on paying my phone bill, but I buy that amount in groceries, and make dinner for he, his gf, his younger bro & his yb's fiance once a week, and I hope it offsets the cost a bit. I always make a pie or cheesecake, too, lol! Sorry for babbling, I'm trying to get used to him not sitting next to me as I type 😔
His girlfriend kids is not her sons kids......because he claims them, he feels she should but until they are married then it technically ain't her grandkid
He said he could have given her $60. Why didn't he do it before court then. He talked about her apt being dirty, and yet he found it clean enough to run there when he needed her. Why didn't Mr. I am a working man take his family to a hotel. And the girlfriend needs to keep quiet and let him handle his mom and their problems.
And the girlfriend did ZERO wrong. So far, I haven't heard 1 thing in the case that was her fault. The lady kept abusing her and she kept accepting it. It was the boyfriend who finally called the cops and encouraged her to get the protection order. So it's odd you all are putting blame on the gf when she literally did zero wrong in this case. She was just there telling her side of the story. She was the victim of everything. Y'all want her to be quiet so she can't share her story of abuse??? lol Yall are odd asf. Watch the case... They tried to replace her cart and was willing to replace her cart with the exact same cart. They weren't going to buy something extra extensive for someone who was just assaulting them. They wanted nothing to do with her after things blew up and had a protection order out against her, so was doing everything through the cops. They needed a picture of the cart to do an exact replacement, but the cops wouldn't give them a picture. So they picked any cart. And... she never had a receipt for her cart for them to give her the money for it. It wasn't until way after everything blew up that she bought another cart and claimed the cart cost $60. This was way after the restraining order and them seizing contact with her. Y'all forgetting all of the details and nick picking what you remember to support the abusive mother. It's obvious the mother is crazy, especially assaulting the girl several times in front of people for zero reasons. She deserved everything she got, and she should have sat in jail for a few days. It sounds like she's turning old and senile. And sounds like they can afford a hotel/motel, but why waste the money when family was near... family that they took time off and stayed with before, while she was sick, so they can take care of her? It can be true that she's nasty with roaches in her home. It didn't sound like they brought all of their stuff with them, only a few things. So not hard to clean up a room and stay in it for a few weeks, until their home is situated.
You all don't listen. They didn't steal it in the first place. They were trying to be peacekeepers by replacing something they weren't responsible for. They had no idea how much hers costed which was a courtesy buy. It must be a cold day in hell when family cannot go to a family member's home....some of us are close. The mother invited them there btw. The mother assaulted that lady twice as she stated she didn't like her. The mother may be suffering with a jealousy problem, mental issue, or just may be nasty anyway.
She is showing signs of dementia and is sad that her son doesn't want to know, or he is just plain selfish. My mother was showing signs of that. I quickly took charge, and she was adequately diagnosed. When she has her sundowners about her personal items. I tell her it is either broken or that I must clean it so she can stay healthy and not die. It is hard and sad to see your parent having a mental break. This episode made me cry. He is a selfish son; he should try and help her instead of calling her crazy and getting the cops involved.
Yeah, this family is totally Dysfunctional, because their feelings towards one another is all over the place, plus I think the Platiniff's hit that "Crazy" phase in her life.
It never ceases to amaze me how people talk down on someone else’s place but want to stay there, and try to run it too. If she has such a nasty place with roaches why in the hell did he take his family there! That’s crazy and to put his mother in jail 😮 Maybe she has a mental illness and he should be a little more respectful to his mother for sharing her space.
For my daughter, its her sister-in-law that is crazy jealous. She's mad that her brother is with my daughter and that they have kids because she has some sick twisted emotions over her own brother, which is totally inappropriate. The problems have been going on for YEARS now and I just hope that my daughter's sister-in-law can get out of the way!
It seems like the judge was really advocating for the mom just because she was "his mom". No ma'am. Toxic is toxic I don't care who it is. I think he's doing the right thing by handling his mom from a distance because until she does some self-work and realizes that she's a part of the problem their relationship will always be toxic. Create boundaries and stand on them I don't care who it is. You can't repair a relationship with someone who feels like nothing they do is wrong and it's not their fault, parents included.
Yeh. My friend had to go to marriage counseling. He said the counselor told him a relationship is a bridge both parties build from their side to meet. You can do all you can for your side, hang big signs & blinking lights on it, etc. But if the other party doesn't build their half, it's still just 1/2 a bridge.
The mom should have been checked. Something is off about the Mother. So because that’s his mother it’s ok for her to keep putting her hands on his girlfriend? At least he didn’t allow her to fight his mom back. Praying for them
Judge was wrong for making the girl for bad for pressing charges over assault? What kinda law is this. Although I wouldn’t it’s odd to hear a judge say not to
I do NOT understand judges take on this one. You should ALWAYS be able to go to your parents when you need help. Especially when you're worried about being hurt at your home. Let's stop supporting a horrible relationship when it's toxic, just because they're your parent.
The way he blamed the wife at the end kind of annoyed me. I have a feeling that issues were in this family long before he met his wife. Even if she did step aside I don't really see the mother ever allowing repair between her and her son. I really felt for him at the end when his mother said those terrible things to him. So sad. I have three sons and I could never speak to them that way. His mother seems like the kind of woman who is never truly happy or satisfied with anything you try to do to reconcile the relationship.
It really looks like the mother has signs of Alzheimers or Dementia as they are sometimes aggressive and irritated but, that's sad they had her put in jail.
It doesn't sound like they couldn't afford a room. Sounds like it would have been more convenience to stay with the person they stayed with before, seeing how she was sick before and they stayed with her for a while to take care of her. I'm the same way. My first stop would be going to my mother's home if something happens with my home, and I'm def not broke. I'm the one paying all of my mother's bills. Convenience doesn't mean broke.
“Girlfriend or wife?…..Are you married, or aren’t you?…No, then you’re not his wife, you’re his girlfriend.” I’m done! 😂👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

@Tiger Bandaid it’s so unfortunate and disgusting.
Yes. Parents act out when they're children start to be happy with other people. Things change and time and resources go to partners and the growing pains start. I wish parents would just be happy for their kids and let them live their lives instead of trying to remain the center of attention. If you're that in law please stop. All you do is create problems for your kid's house.
It’s weird

Or fiancée when there is no ring or date. Shackin up.
Or an ex family members as Uncle, Auntie, Niece, Nephew, etc 🙄
My ex fiance called me his wife in front of a few of his family members and I proudly said, I am NOT his wife, we aren't married. If people want the title, get married.
Well, if you live with someone for 5 years or more then you're common husband and wife .

As someone with a monster in law sometimes the man wants to cut off his weird mother, its like she wants to be with him.
It's quite prevelent in today's world, every race, religion, and creed. When mother's make their sons 'their man', in all aspects except for sex, this is what happens when husbands or boyfriends are not in the picture. The mom was just being difficult. Wouldn't tell them what kind of cart.

Her apartment wasn't too dirty when she was looking after the girlfriend's child
This was heartbreaking to watch and triggering. I'm praying for them. 🙏🙏🙏

Yeh. My friend had to go to marriage counseling. He said the counselor told him a relationship is a bridge both parties build from their side to meet.
