    You shouldn't have to pedal up a hill that's that low if an incline. Try a dual 1000w smlro for 1500 and you will accelerate up to 30+mph before you made it half way up. Upgrade to metal planetary gears and you can make it all but bullet proof. Also rocker actuated 4 link suspension in the rear is far superior. Replace stock rear "shock" that's 1500lb from factory and you have a very capable machine for less than 1,800 bucks. But hey if someone sent me a free bike I'd say whatever they wanted as well so good for you guys.I enjoy your content so keep the videos coming and the rubber side down.

      You have any brand suggestions? I'm saving currently for a bike and I want the best possible value as well as reliability.

    The price renders it utterly useless in my opinion

    Just wanna say I agree with everyone saying this is underpowered because it is, but so many brands are about style and fame then they are about power, and we're gonna be seeing a lot of that in the near future as these brands develop. Most ebike riders aren't that concerned about raw performance and horsepower.

    45-75 miles of range??
    That’s such a huge difference.

    if you like the Super 73 but do not want a Surron, buy the P-51. The P-51 has the best suspension for its class type and looks just as good if not better! What you don't know till you know, that the P-51 was designed to use pedal assist and you will see how well designed this bike is for a class 2 E-bike.

    Interesting. In my teens this would have been almost cool to have. Price would have left it in the store. And the fact it cannot get out of its own way going up that incline w/out pedal assist would have been a turn off as well. Today, the whole deal is wrong for me. Throw away the pedals. Add a LOT more HP and MPH and range and then we can talk about 3K. lol

    Sometimes it's not what you say but what you see. From the specs on their website... Battery = 960Wh (48V 20Ah) and Motor = 750w, meaning this bike is way under powered verses the price point when 52 volt, 1,000 watt ebikes are selling for about half the price listed. Thanks again for leaving in the hill climb as it shows what can be expected in real life.

      Agreed but Super 73 positions themselves as a "premium" and "luxury" option which means less performance for more style, unfortunately the way things seem to be going

      750w is the bike out of the box without the app, full unlocked motor is 2000w, got this bike and i can ride steeper hills easily with throttle

      @djspunz 3 месяца назад

      Um… actually, the motor is 1200w in off-road mode. Check the “View Motor Power Chart” link next to the spec on their website.

    I know this video is a bit old but a company called meelod makes pretty much the same bike for $1000 and it out performs the super 73, I have the single motor single battery set up with full suspension, it's cats iron and I can go 35 mph stock out of the box, I don't need any apps, the bike modestly handles 35 degree inclines, I've used it for trail riding and even riding along train tracks, on those fist sized rocks they use to maintain the tracks, 50 miles all throttle but if you pedal, they claim you can squeeze out 100, mine is 1200w

    What a joke. You can get a fat tire e bike for $1200 and then spend another $800 for a 72v kit. And you could hit 45 mph. Not 20😂😂

      And you'd be in the bike manufacturing business. If you are so smart... you're not.
      The Super73 RX is a great bike. It's expensive but it's quality. You need to research quality or read "Zen And the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. You would make junk and go out of business.

      @phil6993 You must have a pea sized brain. There is obviously no money trying to resell chinese electric bikes. I was simply giving an alternative if anyone was interested in buying this over priced piece of crap. I hope you realize that super 73 uses 100 percent chinese and Taiwanese parts😂😂

    At that price ill buy a real motorcycle with 10x the range and no need for recharge. Still cant understand why people pay these outrageous prices for slow bikes

    • @DianaTheLance
      @DianaTheLance 6 месяцев назад +2

      It’s not a great replacement for a motorcycle, but it’s a nice supplement. I take the motorcycle when I’m going long distances or want to hit higher speeds, and I take the ebike when I don’t want to be hassled for cutting through parking lots and lane filtering. They’re also 1/3 the weight of even a Honda Ruckus, so taking them on sketchy surfaces is less intimidating and tossing them in the back of your hatchback to bring on a trip is a lot more feasible.
      Admittedly the 73 is a bad example as it’s a little expensive for what it can do, but something like the Ride1Up Revv1 hits that sweet spot of price to practicality a little better.

    If you can’t afford it don’t complain stop criticising!

    I proudly and luckily own the S2 and RX and they are both beasts! Worth every penny spent!
