In Hellfest 2019 in France, Manowar cancelled their headline show on the same morning, letting everyone down, festival and fans.
Sabaton took the job to replace them after having already played on previous night. They were given an even longer set.
Joakim had his voice completely broken from previous show. The two guitarists got lyrics sheets and kept the f*cking show going with the crowd!
That was awesome! This is metal! Thanks Sabaton!

But what a show this day, Joakim's speech made me cry at the end. A very powerfull band, I love them more than before.

Based on historical event where a commander of an army ordered a monument to be raised to the enemy soldiers after he was so impressed by their bravery.
Their new song titled "The Attack of the Dead Men" is about the same event, so maybe a dual reaction vid?

Attack of the dead men is about a group of Russian soldiers, I think, that were attacked with poisonous gas, but they remained alive, though in a very bad shape, but still decided to fight. So, upon seeing them looking like, well, zombies and yet attacking, it was very unsettling and terrifying...
However, last dying breath is about a unit that was left to stall the enemy and defend the capital as long as possible, until the rest of the armies go back to safety. It was clear they were left to die, even the command deleted that regiment from their records before the battle even began. Then the commander of the regiment called his men and told them how they shouldn't fear for their lives since they no longer exist; they are dead already and ordered the attack against overwhelmingly more powerful enemy. In a way, a banzai charge. But before the attack, the soldiers gathered in front of one flower shop and bought flowers to decorate themselves, to be as good looking as possible and show the enemy they aren't afraid. So, with flowers on their uniforms and rifles, they went to the charge and fought to their last breath, not even thinking of surrender or falling back.
After the battle, the German commander was so impressed by what he has witnessed that he ordered a monument for the killed enemies to be erected and he saluted it after it was made. A unique case; honoring the enemy that caused so much casualties and saluting them.

Last Dying Breath is about the Serbian defence of Belgrade
both are during World War 1 but its not the same event.

A little bit of information about The Grat War official video:
It was taken during The Liberation Festival in Pilsen 2019. First day was the concert, it had been raining all day, the show sounded really bad, like under water and it was the first show of the tour, so nothing could be perfect. But still the show was f**king Great. The second day (the band with smal US and CZ flags on a balcony) was the military parade, also f**king great. That proves that Joakim (the singer) is really proud to be 50% Czech.

This videoclip isn't actually a recording while playing the Great war. For example at 6:06 that crowd, is actually Rock am Ring 2019. Same as the part were you see a whole bunch of people rowing on the ground (they played Bismarck then). I was in that crowd, and sadly they did not play Great War :(

If you didn't know the footage with the flags, planes, vehicles. It was from the the Liberation Festival Pilsen. Their singer Joakim Brodén is half Swedish and half Czech. He even have the Czech citizenship.
