Same with me nearly forty years ago , we both worked as a team , work was never same after he died, my health declined at 60, the work seemed harder to get, and peoples attitudes seemed to decline as well, We were always busy in the seventies, work was a pleasure not a chore those days and using cruder tools
Honestly I think the fact that you guys got to work together, was the win. My father passed away 6 years ago, watching this brings back some good memories for me. Nice video and I mean that. 👍
KC great work fella, show the Boy how it's done...... 😆😆........ Great to see you both working together. Stu treasure every second mate money can not buy family time.👍
that was crazy wholesome! lost my dad last year and he was a bricky and ive just got back into it as i miss this. although i would never be as good at face work like he was this was a proper hit from home damn!
The job is spot on. The video should be Teacher vs student. What do you think Stu? I am laughing right now. This videos of 2 of you are the best. Keep it on just like that. God bless you 2.
Hey brick mason from NY here .. looks good only thing I would of done differently is before laying the brick back in... fill the holes in the brick being laid so there's no spot for water to hold if any dose get it... cause if you think about it when you lay brick the holes in the bricks All get filled in by spreading the mud for next course .. by replacing brick in the already laid wall , if you dont fill holes in brck there will always be that void in the brick you replaced...just put the brick on the mud board fill in the holes then butter it up an lay... just a little tip I picked up with time ... love everything else looks good
Where'd you get that mini cutoff saw? I've never seen one before. The smallest I've seen was 12"s. Other wise it's a circular saw with a 7" blade. Then again I don't use them a lot where I live, almost everything I do is hammer cut block work, stucco and drywall. It looks to me like that's only about a 9 or 10 inch saw.
Nice new shirt there KC, not letting go of the caked up jeans still yet though. Like a good pair of underpants, just too comfy to let go. Like losing your super powers ;)
Hey Stu try sliding muck off one big trowel with the back hand of another straight edged trowel that’s a good way of getting ya bed nice and precise on these with no stains
Hi. What beautiful relationship you have with your father very respectful ❤ . Youngsters should learn from u how to respect Father. Well done as a obedient son and respectful 👏
Not just saying it, but that was spot on from KC. Replacing bricks in the middle of a wall like that is one of the most awkward jobs there is to get right. He made a bloody good job of that by just taking care and not rushing to try and look like a smart arse. 👍
Just noticed on KC’s cup, the crest with Red written underneath. That looked like the same ship I was on, is their last name Barron by any chance? Small world
Last time i checked am sure KC was a door fitter and not a brickie so how can he tell you how to do anything brickwork wise 😂😂 i mean hes laying with a pointer 😂😂
KC is the winner Because he's a Legend and a brick Trowel can be a bit too clumsy for that finesse of a Job Well said KC 👍👍 Someone has Got to keep Stu in check 🤣😂👍👍 Great work keep it up 👍👍
"Err what ya doin? Why you putting it so high?" 😂😂 KC is an absolute legend
Hahaha love this. Nothing better than dad and son banter. True relationship
Love the father and son relationship, cherish him , lost my dad years ago and proper miss him ... KC wins for me 👍
