The answer is 8 because 5 ( not 3) is the number in the lower left corner of the triangle. Ergo 5 + 8 equals 13 which when multiplied by 8 in the center of the triangle gives 104. Or looked at another way, 104 divided by 13 (5+8) = 8
I agree. I also was confused when I saw miscalculation. It can be easily checked because 104 can not be divided by 15 to get a integer answer from the middle
Utilities = (40% of $1500 is $600), Electricity/Heating = (15% of $600 is $90, plus $600 equals $690), Total Expenses = ($600 plus $690 equals $1290), Other Spending= ($1500 minus $1290 equals $210)
The wording of that question is completely wrong. Heating and electricity ARE utilities but the question is asked like it was outside of the utilities. And if it is outside of utilities then it’s 55% (40+15). But if it is included into the utilities then it can’t be HIGHER than the entire utilities. Completely messed up question
The cube solution is wrong, or at least its wrong according to the wording of the question. It's true that the new cube's volume is 274.4% of the original cube's volume, but that's not what the question asks for. It asks by what percentage has the cube *increased* , meaning what percentage of the original volume is the *difference* . That's calculated by the original cube volume divided by the volume difference, all times 100, so ( 125 / (343-125 ) ) * 100 = only a 174.4% increase.
It says that heat and electricity are 15% more than what is spent on utilities. The way it's worded, some might think that means 55% of 1500. So 600 + 825 = 1425. Leaving 75 to be the correct answer. I never would have interpreted this as 15% of 600.
Good point! Thanks for bringing up your considerations. Hopefully it will help us and test designers to create better questions. 😉All the best on your job interview and assessment test!
Nah, my answer's also 8, but in reasoning, we gotta tackle problems differently, ya know? Like, peeping the options and spotting patterns. For instance, if all the solutions are big numbers, chances are there's addition or multiplication involved. But if the options are small, maybe it's subtraction or percentages.
The day after tomorrow refers to two days from now. The day after the day after tomorrow refers to one day after two days from now, which is three days from now. Four days before Monday would be Thursday. Therefore, if today is Thursday, then the day after the day after tomorrow would be four days before Monday.

The day after the day after of tomorrow is four days before Monday. What day is it today? Solution X = today X+1=Tomorrow X+3=day after the day after is four days before Monday From Monday we have to discount 4 days, Sunday, Saturday, Friday and Thursday. To come back to "Tomorrow" we have to discount 2 days added previously so "Tomorrow" is Tuesday and "Today" is Monday
it's a bit frustrating to know the answers but due to the misrepresentation of some of them (especially the question of the 3 triangles and the 4 numbers, wich you first put 5, and then changed it by 3, that was fucked up) I've spent like 10 minutes thinking what was wrong with me for not knowing the answer, to finally find out that I was initially correct but you made a mistake and didn't have the humility to correct yourself even in the comments, I suggest you put down this video and take a word from the people that are suggesting you to present your situations correctly and free of mistakes before someone wastes their time figuring out a situation that is not correctly presented and so they won't be able to find the answer.
Your scenario like $33.00 is 20%=1/5 U did $33.00 x 5 = $165.00 my question is where form number five little bit confused My scenario is $33/20 = 1.65 x 100 =165
It is given that 33$ is *20%* of the total amount The total amount (X$) is 100% 100% contains 20% *five times* (20*5= 100) So, if you add this number (33$) five times (33+ 33+ 33 + 33 +33) you will get the total amount x = 165$ This also work with 25% (Four times because 25*4=100) Hope this helps.

You mean will be number A?
Because there isn’t 8 number in the choice
This is totally mistake option 8 should be there.. How can be (5+10)multiply8 is 104 its answer is 8

That's the correct calculation.

@@fr33s7yl0r I also thought it was 55% because it says 15% higher than utilities (40+15). But I'm not a native English speaker, so Idk

Yeah ubr right
Yes. I thought the option might be incorrect. I was getting 174 😂
OMG Thank you. Me too. This was annoying me. 😆
I also misunderstood the question as written. I also got 174.

😂😂😂was lost on 75
WRONG ANSWER. Answer should be 8.
104/8= 13
13-5 =8
Agreed!
number should be 5 not 3.
Got the same thing
he is taking 3 instead of 5@@falcan7752
There is no 3 in the equation.
Answer is 8, the closest to 8 is 9 if the question must be answered

It increased by 40% hence 140% which gives us 1.4
9:06 where come this 3?
Man that was fun I got some right. Do you recommend a book on Amazon like this sir. Thank you
The answer will be 8 not 10. While calculating you have take 3 as the value instead of 5.

Is this for Grade 4 or for Grade 7?
To be honest untill @4:59 I was thinking the voiceover is of an AI
The triangle question answer should have been 8️⃣ right .
the question with kate in it is wrong! because try and make it 100% you would multiply 20x5 which is basically 33x5.. which is 165!!!!!!!
Triangle answer is 8
You were wrong on the second to last puzzle. The answer is 8.
5+8x8=104
**wrong answer tutorial alert**
the answer is 8 not 10
That last question sounds like some common core bs.
This is so fucking confusion. I’m never going to pass these test.

Hope this helps.
