Singapore now has high cost of living and a low standard of living with 9% gst and 30% water and electricity Tax Hikes.
Johor now has one third of Singapore's cost of living and about the Same standard of living as singapore.
Australia has a lower cost of living as compared to singapore's cost of living by15% and about the same standard of living as Singapore's one.
Maybe immigrating is a better option for some Singaporeans...
Happy migration then
@RadioactivePrincess ya, thanks. Actually I meant the migration for some Singaporeans, I didn't mean it for me.
Does the pap even do anything or even "work hard" or diligently? Nothing much.
Horrible job. No one is supposed to handle everyones problem.
On the contrary, I think a school counsellor's job can be extremely impactful and meaningful. A good counsellor can literally change a young person's entire outlook on life. Every professional counsellor should know how to set boundaries and not take the work personally; that's par for the course.
That’s not what they’re doing though. Counselling is about guiding people through their emotions and their problems. To let the person know that, hey, there’s someone here that cares. Who wants to help. Are you saying they should just bottle it all up? Sometimes the stress and emotion is just too much for one person to handle alone, so, the need someone to talk to so that they can process their emotions or situation.
Not to mention, they help improve the child’s quality of life at school.
