I grew up eating the father’s kueh tutu. Now I hv moved out to the east. But when I do come to Jurong to visit my mum. Tutu are a must buy. My kids love them too. So glad the son has taken over from His father. 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👍
As a Malaysian, I was so confused why putuh piring was called tutu kueh, but now I realize that it's just cultural differences and it's honestly really nice to see it :>
I love tu tu kueh since young and have tried tu tu from different stalls. This uncle's tu tu is hands down THE BEST in Singapore. Hope his son will continue his business so we are able to eat his tu tu for many more years to come.
These kind of dessert is rare to find, especially delicious handmade type. Its not expensive considering the amount of effort to make the Tutu delicious. Also, its healthier choice as compared to western type of dessert. 6 pieces of TuTu can be very filling.
few days ago I ate this, size is smaller than u. the aunty used plastic measurement to measure piece of kuih tutu which released harmful substances. but Im keen in this kuh tutu because it is reasonable portion and they use stain steel measurement to measure each piece of kuih tutu
I have been supporting them since I was young! My mum or dad would get this as an afternoon snack for me. I always know something is different from the taste of their kueh tutu . I am today’s years old when I found out they make the flour and fillings from scratch. 🥹 roasting peanut, getting the right consistency for the flour. Now that I am no longer staying in the west I still miss this and will always drop by to buy when I visit the wet market at Jurong. ❤ Thank you so much for the effort I will always support you and yah n you for the next generation for continuing this craft👏🏼🥲.
for some reason tutu kueh/ popiah typed food is freaking expensive.. come on, its like few grams of flour and filling, 50cents each? even if considering inflation, their ingredients in bulk cost at most few cents for multiple kuehs.. profit margin to the max..
We appreciate this man’s hard work and dedication. May he continue to be blessed.

From what i know, putuh piring uses different flour. Putuh piring too soft will break easily. Tutu Kueh very compact and will not break apart.
Lies again? Hello Tushy
Putu piring n tu tu kueh are different thing.
Filling different, flour also different.
@@P53eud0nym05 flour is same from rice flour, but putu nowadays people add other flour, like sticky rice flour.
i could recognize the uncle and his making moves! I ate this probably 30 years ago, this is memories

You Are The Best ! One Day I Come To Your Shop ! God Blessing To Your In Family !!!!
My childhood tutu Kueh. Never knew there isn't big sized version elsewhere until I grew older. Nowhere else has tutu Kueh quite the same
I loved this when me and my family vacationed in singapore!! Ordered some in a food court and came back for seconds it was that good
I Love their Large Tutu ... probably the only stall selling it ...
He make the mold himself
I LOVE PUTU PIRING!!! (Malaysian here) Gotta come down and find this one day 😍
No wonder I always find the Uncle "shaking" when he does my order. Hahaha!
I’m so glad the next generation is running it and preserving the traditional way of making it so that I can continue to enjoy their tutu kuehs! 😋❤
Ate his tutu growing up. Back then when it was 30c for small and 50c for large.
The really good stuff has to be hand made. The makers have to go the extra mile. There's no substitute.
Wah, so much of hard work in making tutu kueh!
There was one stall selling in at orchard road. Then years later, they moved into CK Tang at the food court. Dont know if they are still there
I just ate tutu kueh before seeing this video 😂😂 now i wanna travel here and get some for myself HAHAHA
The best I have tasted, since young till now. Happy they are around, hope they will continue to be around.
The best kueh tutu in Singapore 🇸🇬
