The charity you choose was a wonderful choice, they helped out my parents when I was born, as I was a very early baby, three months early in fact, and quite sickly. The provided my Mother with a place to live while was in the hospital for the first 6 months of my life. They also helped out my family and me when I was diagnosed with the same chronic illness that my father has, when I was a teen.

I am so glad to hear they were able to help you during that time. As a parent myself I can only imagine what that would have been like if you weren't able to be close to her! That was another reason I was glad to chose this charity... I know they are worldwide and not just in the US.
