I have this reference with the blue sunburst dial and batons, which seems to be the most desirable version. When they turn up on Chrono24, they don't usually last long, so you have to move fast.
Your detail and delivery absolutely superb and truly one-of-a-kind. Yet, omitting to actually strap/buckle on every watch is something that you naturally must start. Cyrus
The most Loved watch I never have been able to afford I love it all the real leather strap the beautiful size of it the contrast of color's I have an invicta black and red similar features but I rather have the breitling i love the busyness so amazing I would wear it with a suit I wouldn't Care I LOVE IT. I like the newer version's and not into vintage stuff THIS is an amazing watch.
Fahad Ahmad Hi Fahad, welcome back! I don't think this watch is too flashy for two reasons. First, the 41.5mm size is very reasonable for a technical sports watch. The vintage Navitimer from the 1950s was only 40mm, so this A23322 is not compromised by the current trend towards huge cases. Second, this Navitimer features an elegant natural leather strap that keeps the overall appearance classical, refined, and understated. An enormous polished bracelet might change the look, but a strap is the key to achieving a timeless aesthetic that will pair well with formal and casual attire. This is a very versatile watch. While this watch has sold, we do have another vintage-style Navitimer that we are preparing to offer on our homepage. It's a reference A13022 Old Navitimer II, and the preview page can be seen here: www.watchuwant.com/watches/breitling-old-navitimer-ii-chronograph-ref-d13022-42mm-stainless-steel-18k-yellow-gold#.VUu9t1qRPFI Best, Tim
you still wear this navitimer, I mean is it your own purchase? never get tired of it, how many navitimer 01 leather is there, I think there is two sizes?
Hi, I am looking in to a pilot watch under 10000. I am thinking of the navitimer, iwc chrono or one of those loca/ sinn / Archimede. orr speed master omega . Do you have any recommendation ( i have rolex sub already)
+Francisco Ho Hi Francisco, welcome to our channel! If you're looking to budget 10,000 US dollars, then you have many options, especially if you are shopping pre-owned in addition to new. The most important questions to ask yourself are 1) what size you prefer, and 2) whether you prefer a clean and legible dial in the fashion of the 1930s-1940s pilot watches (IWC Big Pilot and Mark families, Zenith Type 20 family, or the more complicated (and crowded) dials of 1950s-1970s pilot watch models like the Navitimer, Omega Speedmaster Pro, Speedmaster Marks, Breguet Type XX/XXI/XXII, Big Navitimers, etc.). Rolex's steel GMT-Master and Master II sit between these types in terms of features and appearance, and I'd put the 1990s Zenith caliber 405 Rainbow flybacks in this category as well. There are also some complications based on retro-styled pilot watch designs. These include models such as the Zenith Type 20 Annual Calendar Chronograph and the IWC Pilot's Chronograph models. Some of the Pilot's Chronograph models from IWC also include rattrapante variants and can be purchased for very favorable rates when bought pre-owned from reputable dealers and other collectors. The final category includes modern multifunction quartz pilot watches like the Breitling Aerospace, Cockpit, Emergency and Omega X-33. For a combination of collectibility and usability from the last group, consider a generation I or II Omega X-33. Happy Hunting! -Tim
Hi Richard- yes I do! We have a wonderfully warm example with chocolate/bronze sunburst and full accessories right here: www.watchuwant.com/watches/breitling-navitimer-montbrillant-datora-chronograph-complete-calendar-bronze-sunburst-dial Best, Tim
+Adam Bean Hi Adam, the principal difference between them is the arrival of Breitling's in-house B01 chronograph caliber with three-days of power reserve and a more traditional column-wheel chronograph function selector. It also features a vertical clutch within an integrated (all-in-one, not modular) automatic chronograph architecture. Moreover, the Navitimer 01 is 43mm vs. 41.5mm for the A23322 above. Best, Tim
Is the dial comfort and the leather too? I thinking about buying this very soon, this or submariner....the dial is amazing on video I don't know how it is in real life..
here in england that watch retails at over £6000.00. now i have watches in my collection carrying the same eta valjoux movement that cost me new £850.00. that watch is one of the biggest horological ripoffs of all time. see what you are offered when you try to sell one. brietling shiteling. by the way i restore antique watches.
John James McCartney Everything's relative. You say you've paid £850.00 new for a watch with a Valjoux movement that ETA sells for 50 CHF ? The best value in timekeeping is the clock in one's phone. Everything else is a simple matter of personal priority. None of these watches are necessities. Breitling does a great job of offering an historically evocative, well-made, and attractive timepiece with enduring appeal. Best, Tim
I love your videos. Some much attention to detail and information on watches. You make watch purchasing so much easier.
That's what we love to hear! Thank you kindly for watching, glad we could help you!

The dial, tick marks, and hands are made of brass. BRASS...
I really like this watch. Do you think this watch is too flashy? Also is this model available for purchase?

+watchuwantinc Amen.
+John James McCartney I think someone's a little sad he can't quite afford Breitling (or spell it). All luxury goods will have a cheaper alternative!
I don't care about movement, it's the most beautiful watch in the world.
Surely Rolex Daytona !
Paul Duncan ugly Daytona cheap plastic dial look , no AR coating, just shout cheap navitimer is much betteer
Erwin L No ar coating even on the latest Daytona ?
