Congratulations! It reminds me of when I was going to buy a scat pack but I got my 17gt instead. I hope she loves it and keep up the good work on the channel. Props from Texas.
Thanks! Yeah, they had a Scat Pack out there but she didn't like the color and doesn't really care about power. I had to talk her out of getting a V6. But, if it were mine, I'd definitely get the Scat Pack or HellCat.
That is a sexy charger wow!! Even tha tint is kicking ass lol a lot of folks gonna think your undercover as well hehehe, I gotta '07 Charger SXT love to til death Congrats on your Charger R/T!!
Gorgeous car! Congrats. I'll have to live vicariously through you as I want a Charger for my next car (or Challenger). I currently have the Santa Fe 2.OT which don't get me wrong is a great vehicle, especially after having a 175 hp Rogue. But I grew up with 2 brothers and lived through the 60's and 70's and I just love American muscle cars. I need a little more HP! Enjoy your car!
Nice!!! There's nothing better than buying a new car or home. You don't have to worry about potentially buying someone else's problems. I bought a new 2013 Fusion Titanium almost four years ago and when I took it in for 70,000 mile service recently, the tech told me he thought it was a new car until he saw the mileage on it. Take good care of your car and you don't have to worry about buying a new one for many years.
congrats to your girl! I wanted a 2017 Mustang GT I just went to the autoshow and I saw a black on black charger daytona 6.4L that's the car I want now lol
I'm really bummed that they got rid of that B5 blue pearl coat color for 2017, that color was legit. Are there major differences between the 16 and 17? Also where the full length review at??
I know there are some differences, but I haven't been able to verify what all changed. I know Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support is one difference. The review is here: ruclips.net/video/LPPkBAWHBIU/видео.html
Get a catch can for that thing as soon as possible. Since you're a Ford guy, you may not know but the 5.7 Hemi is notorious for serious blowby and the stock pcv system is garbage. Under hard acceleration it just gushes oil back into the intake. Nice ride. She'll love it. 👍
I too am a 2017 RT owner, mine is one of the first off the line in fact, ordered back in Sept. 2016... I have the Go ManGo color and all the bells and whistles... I have to tell you though, with a BRAND NEW car, especially with V8's, you need to break them in properly... That means that for the first couple hundred miles you should NOT RACE THE ENGINE! In fact, the factory specs say you should keep it at moderate speeds for the first 300 miles. Oh, and don't forget to check the oil!! A brand new car can use up quite a bit while being 'broken in' because things are still a bit loose. Hope you are loving the car as much as I am!
Thanks, she's loving the car. In terms of engine break in, brief full throttle accelerations are actually recommended. The manual says: A long break-in period is not required for the drivetrain (engine, transmission, clutch, and rear axle) in your new vehicle. Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph (80 or 90 km/h) are desirable. While cruising, brief full-throttle acceleration within the limits of local traffic laws contributes to a good break-in.
I agree... But when watching your video, I noted that the mileage was UNDER 300 miles where you should have kept speeds below 55 MPH... That was why I said what I did... Also, you need to keep in mind that if you buy a car off the lot (with more than 25 miles on it) you can rest assured that it's been 'floored' many times... My car didn't have that issue as it was delivered to me with only 4 miles on it (just enough to get it to the detailers and back and to make sure it was running properly).
It doesn't say to keep it under 55 mph for the first 300 miles. It says after the first 60 miles "speeds up to 50 or 55 mph are desirable". But, the part worth noting is that "full-throttle acceleration" contributes to a good break in. Her's only had 14 miles on it. Anyways, she's well over 300 miles now and it's running great!
Sorry 16P51-GT, but they ARE trying to tell you to keep it under 55 for the first 300 miles. Here's what it says: "Drive moderately during the first 300 miles (500 km). After the initial 60 miles (100 km), speeds up to 50 or 55 mph (80 or 90 km/h) are desirable." This means that DURING the first 300 miles you take it very easy for the first 60 miles and THEN it's "desirable" to drive at speeds UP TO 55 MPH NOT over... This is part of the Drive Moderately wording... I too was confused and was told by Dodge (factory reps) that the reasoning is this: Driving UNDER 50 mph for the first 60 miles allows the engine to settle in - meaning the pistons rings mostly. Then OVER the 60 miles (but still under 300) it's better to drive it faster (but still under 55) so as to condition the engine AND transmission to faster speeds - and it's GOOD to "stomp on it" every once in a while (but not from stops) to get the engine used to speeding up AND slowing down. AFTER 300 miles, they told me to still not 'race' too much, but I could certainly drive at speeds up to 75 (that's not in the manual BTW) until it hits about 600 miles. I also asked about changing the oil during break in (used to be you would do that after about 100-500 miles to get rid of any filings, water, dirt and such made during breakin) but surprisingly they said no?!? Said you don't have to do that anymore. I loved the fact that because I ORDERED my car, I was getting updates on it being in production, paint, etc. and even when the car was being shipped out and approx. arrival date. Plus being able to ask them questions ahead of time as well. The dealer was great too, but even they didn't get the 'extra' info...
Oh and power output rated from dodge is only 370hp not 397. You may be thinking of the ram engine output. But I will say they are underrated a bit from the factory as most are putting 320-340hp to the wheels stock.
Does the charger come equipped with auto down and up windows or just auto down ? I was just wondering since the challenger only has auto down Windows but no auto up .
Congrats to your girlfriend bro the car does look nice but i personally like 2 door cars way more when you sit inside it feels more of a race car than a 4 door family car though got a bit worried when i read the title of your video thought you were trading your GT for it. Nice !!!!
Thanks! No way, I'm not trading my car in for anything! I prefer coupes as well, but it is nice to have the extra room the Charger offers for moving things, trips, etc.
I have a 2015 RT that I threw a Volant CAI in and straight piped. It's loud as hell. Yeah, the ride is so smooth on the freeway i've caught myself doing 70 to 80 without realizing it. This car really warps your sense of speed after driving it a little while.

Yeah, I love my 'Stang! But, the Charger is really nice. I want to drive a HellCat, but dealers aren't about to let you test drive one unless you're buying it. LOL!
16P51-GT if and when she goes to upgrade the exhaust. Have the shop cut just (3-4 in) behind mid muffler, then remote start. Sounds great and saves ton $$. stay safe
Because the place I was going to was already stored in my phone and I didn't feel like entering it in to the car's navigation system. General laziness...LOL!
Your girl is a beast for her to go for a v8 wow.. that 5.7 L is great amount power added benefits of growl and power sheeesh , she isn't your typical Honda girl lol what made her get black ? Wait hollup no navigation installed ?
She wanted white, but they had sold it when we went back to the dealership a week later. She's definitely not a Honda girl, LOL! And yeah, it has navigation.
Oh, it's just because I had the address already set in my phone and she didn't have a lightning connector in her car. Otherwise, I would have been using Apple CarPlay. It does have stand alone nav, but I was just too lazy to enter the address. LOL!
The MSRP is around $37k, but she got a bunch of discounts, rebates, etc. So, she paid a few thousand less than that. But, I'm not sure of the exact dollar amount because I was looking at HellCat's while she was doing paperwork. LOL!
She didn't like the color of the one that they had. And I had to convince her not to get a V6. She didn't really care about power at the time. But, is loving the V8 now.
Troll... I have owned several Dodge vehicles as well as Fords and others and the ONLY 'bad' Dodge I had was the first year Journey. My others though have been great! Treat them right and you won't have any issues. My FORDS though... well, other than my F150, they have all given me trouble... Mustang II... Arrrggg... My Taurus spent so much time in the shop the first 2 years I had to drive my wife's car (Dodge Stratus) most of the time... No more Fords for us! Oh, and if anyone is wondering why the Chargers are 4 doors now... Well, it's because the Police that are driving them need somewhere to put the bad guys besides the trunk! How stupid was Ford to stop selling the Crown Vic's??
Welcome to the Mopar brotherhood - Hemi nation!
"90? That's cool. I took it up to 93." HAHA. What a cool girlfriend. Congrats!
LOL! Yeah, she's definitely a cool chick. Thanks!
Congratulations! It reminds me of when I was going to buy a scat pack but I got my 17gt instead. I hope she loves it and keep up the good work on the channel. Props from Texas.
Thanks!
Great looking car now we get to watch more videos from your channel.keep them coming
Thanks! Definitely more on the way!
Congrats to you guys! Enjoy the new ride and be safe!
Thanks! She's in love with it so far.
I bought a 2016 charger rt from Ryan here not even 3 weeks ago. it was a tough bargain but this place is awesome....
Congrats on the new Charger!
You all seem like fun people! Nice ride!
Thanks!
Good choice! I personally really love the Scat Pack, but the RT is no joke. looks great! Congratulations to you both.
Thanks! Yeah, they had a Scat Pack out there but she didn't like the color and doesn't really care about power. I had to talk her out of getting a V6. But, if it were mine, I'd definitely get the Scat Pack or HellCat.

Congrats. I have the same car down to the wheels I love it and I know she will love hers enjoy 👍🏻
Oh, nice! Yeah, she's loving it so far.
Congrats to you guys...springs and exhaust next 😁😁😁
Thanks! LOL! I don't think she'll go for springs, I may be able to talk her in to doing the exhaust though.
Enjoy your new car!!!
Congrats, young lady!
Ali, stay outta the drivers seat lol.
One thing about those cars, the headlights are sick!
LOL! I won't be seeing much time behind the wheel, don't worry! And yeah, I love the headlights!
I was a little worried you were trading in the Mustang when I read the title...
Never that!
It's going to take another year, but I am getting me one of these. I'm very fond of the silver or billet color.
They're really nice cars!
congrats to your girl! I wanted a 2017 Mustang GT I just went to the autoshow and I saw a black on black charger daytona 6.4L that's the car I want now lol
Thanks! That 6.4L is no joke!
good choice nice shade of tint hope everything goes well for you maybe think twice on getting dial Dynamic products
Thanks! LOL! I'm pretty sure she won't let me put any of there products on her car.
Looking forward to seeing you mod her car some. I appreciate a nice Dodge Charger/ Challenger almost as much as a Mustang. It's a nice looking car.
Thanks, not sure how much she'll let me do to it. But, you know I'm gonna try! LOL!
LOL!
16P51-GT hellcat wing straight pipe tint tail lights hellcat wheels and you're finished

Mike Marshall how's the reliability on this car I m considering this or a maxima they both have similar performance.

Congrats!...
Thanks!
best looking car out!
for real hahaha
Clean!
Thanks!
16P51-GT thought about grabbing one myself for the dd in the winter months. last of a dying breed right there.
It would be a good option!
I like the Charger too. Ford has no 4 door, rear wheel drive competition for it.
Very true!
Have fun flooring it lol
that look she gave u when u asked her to wash the stang after haha
LOL! She's funny.
Looks like the one in John Wick. Nice.
Bruuuuuh, i can not wait to get one, I'm sick of waiting!!!
They're nice!
Why doesn't dodge add turn signal lights on the covers of the mirrors . Something that should be standard by now .
Agreed. They'll probably add it for future model years.
What does she think about getting the rims blacked out, I've got the same rims on a challenger and they look very good blacked out
She likes the rims the way they are, but she may try plasti-dipping them one day since it isn't permanent.
Does the charger come equipped with auto down and up windows or just auto down ? I was just wondering since the challenger only has auto down Windows but no auto up .
It has auto up/down, but only on the front doors.
16P51-GT Thanks.
No problem
Congrats to your girlfriend bro the car does look nice but i personally like 2 door cars way more when you sit inside it feels more of a race car than a 4 door family car though got a bit worried when i read the title of your video thought you were trading your GT for it. Nice !!!!

Nice! I'll be looking in to what type of performance upgrades we can do to it soon.
How many miles do you get on a full tank of gas? What's the range?
I'll have to check to confirm. I think it's around 300 miles, though.
thats nice,,,she did well
Thanks!
Ford Sync Sirrius has the same DVR feature.
Hmm, I'll have to check that out. I rarely use Sirius.

I love the chargers and challengers but the stang is my baby. But I can own one of these too
Yeah, I love my 'Stang! But, the Charger is really nice. I want to drive a HellCat, but dealers aren't about to let you test drive one unless you're buying it. LOL!
Where did you get the sto and sho from
Amazon: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00T6HY1XA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Greenbrier Dodge is where I've got my cars from.
They're a good dealer!
Nice car For the Girlfriend but you were right i rather the Hell cat or the Scat Pack too
Yeah, the R/T has good power. But, I'd need the HellCat if I were to get a Charger.
I see there still sitting on the hellcat I was going to buy. Roman lost out on that one big time.
Yeah, they had a few of them up there.
How was your experience at that dealership? I'm looking at getting the same whip
They're good people. I prefer no haggle dealers personally, but our experience with them was good.
I've been pulled over by a few Dodge Chargers ... BTW I got nervous when I read the title of your video ...
LOL! I have too. Don't worry, my car isn't going anywhere.
you taught her well to go for the v8s
Exactly, but once she heard it rev she was sold. LOL!
16P51-GT if and when she goes to upgrade the exhaust. Have the shop cut just (3-4 in) behind mid muffler, then remote start. Sounds great and saves ton $$. stay safe
Why are you using navigation on your phone when the car already has navigation?
Because the place I was going to was already stored in my phone and I didn't feel like entering it in to the car's navigation system. General laziness...LOL!
what happened to your video shots fired at street speed 717?
It's still up, just not listed. I got tired of responding to Camaro fan boy's in the comments.
I can't stand when dealers put their stickers on the car. I tell them to take that and any license plate covers off when I pick up a new car!
Yeah, it's annoying. I took it off since this video.
16P51-GT but how come in the video you were using your phone ? for nav ? and did yall thought about silver ?
Oh, it's just because I had the address already set in my phone and she didn't have a lightning connector in her car. Otherwise, I would have been using Apple CarPlay. It does have stand alone nav, but I was just too lazy to enter the address. LOL!
This has apple car play??? Wonder if the 2016 have it
Yeah, it has it. I would think that the '16 model has it as well, but I'm not 100% sure.
2016 doesn't
I have a 13v6 but I plan on getting a 15 charger hellcat, price should drop when the demon comes out 🙄
Hopefully, but the Demon looks to be a Challenger so not sure if the price will drop on the Charger HellCat.
What % window tints are those?
35%
If you have good credit do you think I would be able to get 1 with nothing down as payment
Yeah, with good credit you usually don't need to put a down payment. She didn't when she got hers.
16P51-GT thanks for the reply bk
370 hp 395 tq!
they have 370hp and 395 torque
Yep, I mistakenly said it was 395hp
That's what's up he sold me my 2017 Daytona they ain't do all that for me and Roland was the one sold me my car
LOL! I think they did it for her because it was her first new car.
Great vid P!! What did your girl pay for it?
The MSRP is around $37k, but she got a bunch of discounts, rebates, etc. So, she paid a few thousand less than that. But, I'm not sure of the exact dollar amount because I was looking at HellCat's while she was doing paperwork. LOL!
16P51-GT haha I would be too. I had a 2010 charger rt. Love it. I love hellcats too MURICA!!! Keep up the vids bro and come to New Orleans sometime
Is this the v6?
Nope, it's a 5.7 V8 Hemi. C'mon, I wasn't gonna let her get a V6! LOL!
Lol i know man haha
Why didn't you get the scatpack it's only 2-3 grand more
She didn't like the color of the one that they had. And I had to convince her not to get a V6. She didn't really care about power at the time. But, is loving the V8 now.
16P51-GT haha you need to get one then 😉
if I have a good credit and I don't put downpayment
payments are gonna be high right?
Typically, every thousand dollars takes about $20 off of the monthly payment. So, it depends on what you consider "high" and how much the car is.
She just got her new car and you're redlining it first thing next day. Show some mercy man! (jk.. I'm sure engine breaking has been done)
LOL! Yeah, the manual actually suggests that you do a few brief hard accelerations to break it in.
almost has same amount of torque
Yeah, that's true
my wife wants a dodge 1500
I like Dodge vehicles. The Charger has really grown on me.
RT. noo should of got that 392
They had a few of them there. But, she fell in love with Black and wouldn't use the power of the 392.
She's pretty hot
nice at lest she got a V8 and a little street racing lol
Haha! Exactly
16P51-GT congratulations on getting a girlfriend who can clean her own car😆 she's a keeper BRUH 💯 KICK ASS WHIP
LOL! Real talk...
it'll Take that mustang lol
Nah, she already tried me and got destroyed! LOL!
370 hp*
Yep, I've been corrected.
William Davie but it feels like more!
what BLASPHEME bro
congrats to her though , I'm sure she's happy , even if it is a Charger smhh
your girl seems down to Earth and cool man props
Yeah, she's cool
LOL!
tite car.
Dodge sucks , ford all the way
LOL! I've owned Dodge's in the past and always had issues. I'm a Mustang fan, but I have to admit that the Charger is really nice.
Troll... I have owned several Dodge vehicles as well as Fords and others and the ONLY 'bad' Dodge I had was the first year Journey. My others though have been great!
