In my opinion, KD you're the best vlogger in the Philippines 🇵🇭. You're so daring to visit far-flung and isloted places in the country. Awesome job, KD👌 👏 👍❤❤❤❤❤
You and Kyle Jennerman bring out the best of the Philippines and the Filipinos. You don't show the superficial life of the city or the beaches. You actually speak the local language unlike the other vloggers who speak a modicum of any of the local languages. I thank you for your authenticity and traveling to the remotest part of the Philippines in which vloggers Filipino or foreign don't even venture to. You inspire to travel in my own birth country who I only gained more knowledge because youtube and the foreign vloggers who consider Philippines home.
it's amazing to hear that even in country side you will find Filipinos who speak very good English. you can't get lost, you'll always find someone to communicate with🙂😊
You are truly a Kumander! So brave to go to remote villages of IPs in the country and experience their culture and traditions without kaartehan. Salamat KD. God be with you always👍🙂
Wow KD you maybe one of the best foreign blogger that really had explored most part of the Philippines especially the farthest and remote island. You had immerse youself with different traditional cultures especially our indigineous people, the history of their place and their old traditions. Your presentations is the best as a documentary traveller.
I was initially & still occasionally surprised when foreigners state Philippine food is “all meat & fatty meat” or fried or dried fish. My relatives fed us here in USA mostly vegetables when I was growing up. When I was young, not easy to obtain fully authentic dishes , couldn’t get the specific veggies here, but my mother, relatives, friends, substituted. As time went on, pinakbet for example, became pretty much authentic. Of course different areas of my country had different access, earlier or more; & veggie intake of use I’m sure varies in the diverse Phil cuisine.
Another classic Kumander Daot video. Always beautiful and respectful treatment of the indigenous tribes that you meet and spectacular video of the routes you travel and the surrounding scenery. "The similarities are different." 3:51🤣🤣🤣 KD, when in doubt, eat. 15:41
Nakapunta na ako dyan sa Conner Apayao may ginawa kami dyan hospital at ang pangalan ng DR. MANUEL HOSPITAL kilala dyan yan sa Apayao,,taga Pangasinan po ako ❤❤❤
amazing !!! You made to explore the whole Philippines 99%,,,good for you,,, Pilipino like us mostly never have done that,,awesome young man,,,,more power,
I loved that bamboo wine cup. That's cool and those wine makers have income for years to come; if you think about it. Genius! and all natural resources and fruits from their yard, they decided not to waste anything and made great local booze with it! Fricken Awesome!
I'm totally agree with my co-subs here, your way of vlogging is amazing and thanks much for continued doing it....take care always, enjoyed every place you pass through as we enjoyed every minute of viewing it the way you describe and spoke to our locals....salute to you Anselm...God bless.
I enjoy your vlogs and your narration is very good. You're narration is getting much much better since you first began. Now you sound like a narrator for Discovery Channel or the Blue Planet.😊 your vlogs are very educational, informative and not just catering to tourists. You're educating me even though i was born over there and my roots is of Ilocano but grew up in Mindanao then moved to the USA when i was a kid. I used to speak Ilongo, Cebuano, Ilocano and Tagalog. today, i can understand but not speak it. Maybe i should retire back to Philippines, maybe, Malaybalay or Valencia Bukidnon or Cagayan de Oro or Davao😅
I think you’re the only vlogger i know who able to visit the most hidden the far flung tourist spots here in Northern luzon unknown to the world. Like you visited otherside of isabela which is 99% of people of northern luzon never visited that place. And now Calayan, apayao, kalinga.
Your videos have come a long way since seeing you in Becoming Filipino for the first time. Your content and narration are spot on with these travel docuseries. Your wit, humor, and appreciation for the simple joys in life make the most mundane aspects of daily life worth enjoying and treasuring. Greater success to you brother!
Great job of narrating your travels and stunning cinematography, you do a better job than those TV commentary because for one thing you do it for authenticity and having fun while you are it, safe travels KD🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏
I really dig your style, just raw and honest, no frills and overhyping. Love the narration with bits of history and comedic banter in between. That guy with 10pcs of English is funny 😂 looking forward to the next one! Amping Kumander!
You are immersing our authentic culture, customs, and traditions. Tasting and see our history and maybe you can write a book of becoming Pilipino. Kudos KD.
Very nice Sir Daot! Another epic adventure! Those folks seemed to be very nice and chill. It rained like hell in Davao last night. Much cooler this morning. It’s coffee time in Buhangin!
Thank you KD for featuring Conner, Apayao here. I was reminiscing the past when I traveled to this place 45 years ago. I miss the place and the cultural communities out there. Padayon !

It's been a while since saying hello. Quite the travel channel now and great adventures to remote places. I think ur but might get sore on the bike, you know throw a sheep skin on the seat and its most comfybthing you can do. If you remember, im in Bicol Albay building a mansion on the beach. Near Legazpi if you ever need acstop over its good one.
Driving into unknown territory and almost getting lost is a specialty of mine. And any coyote driver, opps, I mean camote driver doing the same, is definitely on the same team as me. Ride on Kemosabe :)
Even my late father during his time he make offers to the spirit after plantation and after harvest he wil go to farm with her offer a sinukat with egg and water when the sunsetis done.he has always a bountiful harvest.
i look at these places it seems like the americans have never left..similar thing to sorsogon the american influence is strong..you pass by cities feels like americans never left..they still have the americanesque vibe..small town american vibe.
In my opinion, KD you're the best vlogger in the Philippines 🇵🇭. You're so daring to visit far-flung and isloted places in the country. Awesome job, KD👌 👏 👍❤❤❤❤❤
