i have been to cancun and playa del carmen 5 times in the past 4 years , we make this our yearly vacation spot. i am interested in if they have fish markets like i saw in some Asian Countries where you can buy from the fisherman or freshly sold fish that you can take and have cooked? i have friends that live in Mazatlan and there you can buy right from the fisherman coming in and have them cooked for like 100 pesos plus the cost of the fish. We always stay at the Wyndham Altra because it is cheap and really close to 5th street and we finish off in Cancun at the Royalton Chic. La Barracuda is really good if you havent tried that one yet but el fagon and don sirloin is our go to for tacos.
Yes those two spots are excellent taco choices!! As you mentioned with Mazatlán, the fish and delicious seafood is more of a Pacific coast thing unfortunately. The seafood on the Caribbean side is underwhelming at best… no fresh oysters, no fresh Mahi or Red Snapper. Mazatlán, Puerto Escondido and Puerto Vallarta are best for that IMO. Thanks for checking out the video and hope you see you guys around Playa! 🏝️😎☀️

THAT 2nd restaurant's drink sounds like what we call MARACUJA or passion fruit ? I make mousse de Maracuja, it like passion fruit pudding Use some maracuja concentrate with condensed milk in a blender, end up with 2 liters of it I'd like to see a restaurant that serves all kinds of seafood, I could eat nothing else
Wow…that sounds other worldly delicious!! Yes that drink was passion fruit!! My favorite pairing with ceviche and any seafood taco! Thanks for sharing 🏝️☀️🌮❤️😎
@@theropemonster The blender is buzzing away as I make a batch of mousse de Maracuja ! Always ready to make more on the spur of the moment for friends ! Is strange that I discovered it here in the south 2002, not as widespread in the north as here Requires Creme de Leite leve (4) condensada de leite (2) and concentrate of Maracuja, half a bottle, blend well in a blender and pour into small cups- fills about 8 cups- let it cool down in the frig overnight and it's ready to eat. I usually put more juice on top once it gels
real birria is cooked for hours including bones and fatty pieces so the broth has bone minerals and good fats. Chopped meat mixed with water and spices is not real birria. Calle 30 is not real Birria as example.

Been a couple of months (minus one day at Mamitas when subscribers were giving me Coors Light and Modelo 🤷🏼♂️😅). Been focusing on other goals so it’s been good for me.
THAT 2nd restaurant's drink sounds like what we call MARACUJA or passion fruit ?
I make mousse de Maracuja, it like passion fruit pudding
Use some maracuja concentrate with condensed milk in a blender, end up with 2 liters of it
I'd like to see a restaurant that serves all kinds of seafood, I could eat nothing else
Is strange that I discovered it here in the south 2002, not as widespread in the north as here
Requires Creme de Leite leve (4) condensada de leite (2) and concentrate of Maracuja, half a bottle, blend well in a blender and pour into small cups- fills about 8 cups- let it cool down in the frig overnight and it's ready to eat. I usually put more juice on top once it gels
What gym was that?
Evolve
Haha sigue de goloso con esos chiles 🌶️ q después andas quejándote en el baño pues 🥵😜😜😜
Oops.. looks like I’ve been caught! ! 😯🥹😅… jejeje 🤪

Long live the queen 👸😅😅😅
8 lb weight gain?
Yup 😜🥩 🥞 … 4-5,000 calories/day (way more carbs than usual) for two weeks coupled with low rep range, heavy weight training 😎
@@theropemonster I believe you, for the record that was my guess, not an indication of doubt:)
real birria is cooked for hours including bones and fatty pieces so the broth has bone minerals and good fats. Chopped meat mixed with water and spices is not real birria. Calle 30 is not real Birria as example.
For Playa it’s a solid choice IMO but definitely doesn’t compare to some of the spots I’ve tried in CDMX!! Thanks for watching 🏝️🌮😎
Los Hijos de la Birria and El Compa are my fave two spots.
Hey. I watched this cool video

earlier this year and visited the same the same taco stands whilst in town, but listed them as best to worst in a different order. I’ll try your list when in Playa next month bud!
