Hey bro! I have to tell you that your Spanish it’s freaking awesome! Good stuff that you are sharing i enjoy watching your videos specially where I’m at in northwest Indiana this morning on my way to work was -3 lol 11:49
Brand new to your channel! Happy to have found you… excited to be back in PDC in a couple weeks after almost 2 years! Addicted to watching you walk the streets and beaches that I’ve missed so much! 🙏
Staying just a couple of blocks from Los Portales, will be giving that a try in the next few days, looks delicious! Thanks for all the great spots to check out! ✌
My pleasure @wanderbeard (Such a dope handle by the way). Let us know what you think! Those ribs are 🔥 too if you ever make it up as far as 62 and 10th! Thanks for checking out the content 😎☀️🏝️
I will let you know for sure! Those ribs definitely look like they were worth the walk too! Thanks on the handle too, sometimes I come up with stuff that makes me look so much smarter than I actually am! 😂✌
Absolutely!! Great question! My buddy is vegetarian and we used to go out to the same quesadilla stand. The trick is to find a place with nopales, beans, mushrooms, rice etc or at minimum you can ask for just a plain cheese quesadilla (if you eat cheese). Thanks for watching 😎🏝️☀️
I wasn't sure if that was Mole on your face or your beard growing back in 😂😂😂 I've had the best Mole in Oaxaca City, but I will defo try that first spot next time!
😅😅😅 Yes Oaxaca City for the win no doubt, but this spot is solid for Playa at least and at 95 pesos one block off of 5th, it’s not a bad option! Thanks for watching Jiji!
I couldn't eat that good for 3 times the money in Minnesota! I will definitely be ready to eat! Been getting beach ready 4 a few months! Take care my friend!
Great video as always Ropemonster! Any recommendations for a good healthy smoothie to fuel up on in Playa? High octane only for this machine. Ha.. Thanks again for the videos. They are awesome!
Hey Jeremiah, it was great meeting you and your beautiful family today! If you can only try one of the three… don’t miss the bbq ribs between 62 and 64 on 10th! I just finished another plate 🍖😎
Been checking out ur videos. Good informations been pinning all places on Google maps 😆 Wondering if u can share good gyms around the area? Always hard to find any infos on gyms on vacation 😄. That be really cool. Thanks for sharing 😊
recommendation time: pick up some chicken, beef, ribs from Chelos.... have a great time at the beach and munch on Chelos!!! We did something similar when we did some cenotes... picked up cooked meat in Puerto Morelos, then did some cenotes and munch munch.
Thanks my friend! I’m from Portland, Oregon but have spent a good amount of time in Latin America and truly love the language! Hope you guys had a great trip ☀️😎🏝️
Fantastic video series! I have an idea for your next video-where to find genuine, locally made products. During my visits to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Cozumel, I’ve noticed that about 98% of stores sell the same mass-produced items, even in the small huts on the far side of Cozumel or from vendors along the center of 5th Ave. I’d love to discover where I can buy something truly handmade and support local artists. Cheers!
Heyyy RopeMonster, sadly we are back in the US. Unavoidable situations forced back to the cold n snow. We ate soooo many times at the mercado at 10 n 6th. We were staying at 20 n 6th. I hope to return soon. everything here looks good man. Keep that info coming
I walked from Calle 10th up 5th to Calle 74th, and back via 10th Ave. Saw several places you've featured and will definitely give some my pesos before I head home next week. I kept a sharp eye out for the TheRopeMonster, but no sightings, unfortunately 💪🏻 Thanks for all the recommendations!
Haha thanks Chuck, hope to bump into you before you go! Just a heads up too… the Ceviche Corazón on the corner of 5th Ave and 54 is having its last hoorah tonight, DJ, drinks etc! The new location on 52 will still be around though! Thanks for supporting the channel and happy New Year, my friend!
Thanks for checking out the video my friend! Yea, it can definitely be hit and miss so I try to take some of the guess work out for you guys with these videos… only share places that don’t give a side of salmonella etc 🧐😂.
good morning buddy up and at em early, you missed the best part of Tolatonga, the second half of the park with a long 80 meter cave and huge grotto underneath with much hotter water than in the hot tubs of the side you were on

Thankyou for filming the menus. Is it possible to find Vegetarian options in traditional local food places line this or on taco stands? Thanks

Perfect idea! Me and Ana used to do that in Ecuador… pick up some bbq chancho (pork) and hit Cajas N.P. And have a picnic in the cave 🏔️😎
My girlfriend and I were recently in Playa, I thank you for your go to eats. BTW your Spanish is great, where are you originally from?
Thanks my friend! I’m from Portland, Oregon but have spent a good amount of time in Latin America and truly love the language! Hope you guys had a great trip ☀️😎🏝️
