Super smart move with this series. Traxxas sells lots of trucks, daily. And I know from experience, when searching RUclips I mostly go with stuff recently made first.
I raised my body and side skid rails up 1/2 inch, flipped my bumper mounts, added metal wheels, pin tires, 3D printed tire inserts added some stick on wheel weights to the front and on the skid rails, Fusion SE brushless motor, stock gearing works really well..
I really think that it’s going to be day n night with a proper radio for sandy. Even with the stock trx4 system you’ll get I’m sure more modulation on the trigger.
Are you gonna throw a maintenance episode in there? Grease the diffs, grease transmission gears, rebuild shocks. Experiment with O-ring grease for the shock seals?
would you happen to have a vfd twin trans. with or without the skid you would sale? i doing a custom 4ws rig and would l like to try and use that trans. to have front dig and rear dig I kown i would have to get the parts to convert it. any help thanks
What is your opinion on the 5pc skid plate set for the trx4? Never see you use such a thing. YES...9imod...oh my..this is getting better Mr.C...eyes are glued. Id like a link to those axle housings. DLUX link riser in the future? Shame to lose the jst plug off the xl5 to run a direct power servo.
Alright, Sandy needs the little sleeping stocking hat like sand man is depicted in Santa clause cause thay be sweet stocking hat for candy the trx4 must have
I have the Molordy chassis on a stock TRX4 Sport and it went right on. Only thing is my Sport is the one without all the inner fenders so not sure if that's making a difference or not.
Yep, the difference here is the clipless. Usually, replacement chassis and the fenders are gone. But here the fenders are holding the body on (and the shocks) so I had to see if it actually worked.
Number the parts and throw paper numbers in the body upside down pull one out and put that number on like drawing from a hat but just use the body so you don't feel what part your grabbing from the box totally random parts going in one by one
I still want an RGT Intruder, but a TRX4 + Killerbody LC70 could really do the ”trail rig” thing for me and likely be far more capable on the rocks as well… hhhmmmm
Okay so its dry film lubricant, need to find something on sale in my country, do u think crc ptfe super lube(its dry lube aswell) would work?:) lubes and leaves protective super thin layer that dont attract any dirt
@@topqualityfi8216 The one you mentioned is teflon, but might work-- I've never tried it. If you can get CRC where you are, CRC 03084 is their aerosol dry moly. How much of a mess it will be in a spray can I also can't speak to. I think most every lubricant manufacturer has a "dry moly" of some sort, so if you have gun shops or bike shops, you should be able to find one.
@@CrawlerCanyon would that crc work to be used after driving wet, then i use compressor to air dry trx4,then spray underneath stuff with it,its supposed to prevent rust and displacements water and lubricate littlebit?:)
Ah, more TRX-4 goodness. Really enjoying this series.
I love this series, even tought i dont have normal sport my self

Thank you Mr C the canyonification of my TRX4 is ongoing. I'm ahead in some areas and behind in others. Great job fitting the Mlordy 🎉
Really terrific series! Thanks so much
I like sandman as his name Mr. C ! My son also approves “big Spider-Man fan”
1 screw. So far, so good. Love the optimism 😂

Been waiting for this one. As I’m a potential buyer
I was under the impression that the stock canyon trails are S2 compound.
Tires bought separately are S1.
Not when you get from china directly
Stock canyon are s1
Years ago, yes. Everything went to S1 a few years ago. AFAIK, the Defenders were the last models to still come RTR without S1 tires.

I had a very modify sport that i sold but because of this series i need a new one to play with, such a great base to enjoie,, a classic.

I really like the design of them axels less drag ohhh boy
This is a great series!
I’m posting this series as recommended viewing for new TRX4 owners on the FB TRX4 page.
what is that moly lube that you use?
answered at end of video, Thanks!

What was that liquid you used on pivots??
I wonder if they make that chasis for a trx6? I'd like to drop the some weight on my 6by
what is the dry slide for?
Weight equates to traction.. Low weigh is best but the bottom line it all ends up at the ground contact point (bottom of the tires)..
How does one send things for you to review?
How much are those axels? I will drive stock ones to death, but those look really good for trails
Wow,my high trail is 3.2kg stock, and i havent even bought metal wheels or added weights to front,im in trouble x)

I'm here's my question.Does the body clip down backwards? And you can drop around making it look like it's driving backwards

Think the tr4 sport is gonna be my next rig!!!

Your punctuation marks are broken on your keyboard?
@themountain59 yes they are bc they never get used I do this on purpose bc it's the internet and not a job application
In the evolution of the body beautification will the windows get cleared……can we justify it as weight savings. Ha!
