I bought both Crowbar 'Obedience Thru Suffering' and Nailbomb 'Proud To Commit Commercial Suicide' cds together in early 1996 at a record store in Peoria, IL (those were the days!!).
I just saw Crowbar a few weeks ago and thought something was off with their sound. I thought the guitar sound was a little thin. Now that you mention it, Kirk's vocals sounded a little muddy too. I seen them two other times prior and they sounded killer. Could have been the venue too.
