I even remember Bruce Dickinson who had just left Iron Maiden praising these guys as the next big thing in Metal in some interview for MTV or one of those channels , VIVA perhaps ...
First concert Danzig and Kyuss in Cincinnati at Bogarts, I think 93, I was blown away by Kyuss, also one of the loudest shows I've seen, and I'm old, everything from Cluth to GWAR, I've seen it, but that just blew me away, bought Blues for the Red Sun the next day at J.L. records in Lafayette Indiana, best record shop ever, over 30 years, I'm 49, been buying music at J.L.'s since at least 1989.

This kind of freedom music is still all over the place, struggling, but the media only broadcast products, based on their assessment of listener's wishes and advertisement needs. This kind of TV shows showcasing heavy music's talents have disappeared. American Idol sells more burgers. It's also unfortunate to see where Homme was back then and where he is now: a better player indeed, but without Kyuss. Garcia, one of the best throats around suffers to bring Kyuss back in the same way good freedom music suffers to thrive. And about the kiss, in Southern Europe a kiss is just a sweeter/sillier form of the handshake, that's all.
A form of handshake? Obviously you have never been to Italy and based that on some sort of pizza-mandolino-mafia cliché. Also.. if you go in another country do you lost all your habits and immediately absorb the ones of your destination? It's like saying you start speak mandarin when you land China.

The 3 above sounded extremely "fresh" and "authentic" etc ... etc ... truly surprising when I 1st heard they had broken up cause they seemed to be on their way to something huge ... and yeah , you can view the QOTSA project as just that , in a way . I even remember Bruce Dickinson who had just left Iron Maiden praising these guys as the next big thing in Metal in some interview for MTV or one of those channels , VIVA perhaps ...
Funny cause they never saw themselves as metal and didn’t listen to metal
I definitely dig his shit First time hearing.
I makes me realize what a unique band they were when they play in a "normal" setting like on a T.V. show
This is the best Kyuss footage I've ever seen.
This rocks! I’ve always been a Kyuss fan. Also Slo Burn - Amusing The Amazing still gets regular play from me. One badass album.
THANK YOU!! best quality ever I have seen so appreciate it dude or dudette!
true description.... best quality!!!!
muchas gracias ;)
there is fuzz and there is Hommes's fuzz, you cant sound so nasty and powerfull. absolutely brilliant. same for the the band
Oh man I wish it was still the 90s.
Too right take me bk plssss
Such a fantastic Band. Unreal. Beyond words.
First concert
Danzig and Kyuss in Cincinnati at Bogarts, I think 93, I was blown away by Kyuss, also one of the loudest shows I've seen, and I'm old, everything from Cluth to GWAR, I've seen it, but that just blew me away, bought Blues for the Red Sun the next day at J.L. records in Lafayette Indiana, best record shop ever, over 30 years, I'm 49, been buying music at J.L.'s since at least 1989.
Dimitry. If you are such an accomplished guitarist, why are you responding so passionately to comments at 10pm on a Friday night? Didn't you have a gig?
give us back this great band!
The first time ever wanted to do something
Nice. Thank You. I'm watching and say to myself; that's Josh on Guitar lol. I never heard this in my life. Wow, this is some really good shit. I'm really into the Stoner/Sabbath/Psychedelic Groove thing so this is a trip. Can't believe I missed out on this. Shades of Blue Cheer.
I'm the lucky guy that got to see them twice 😀😀(for being from New Jersey that's a pretty amazing feat). I'm sure plenty of people from palm Springs and out west did. But not many East coast people did and I was one of them 😀😀😀😀
Nice 👍 what years approx? Big venues?
Testimonianza di vera musica suonata in bel paese italy
Freedom Run has a whole new meaning in 2022.
what a talented young guitarist, I hope he forms his own band one day...
Maybe one day
some of the best camera work I've seen. cool as fuck!!!
Love the part when Scott goes up into the stands during "Conan Troutman" and that goofy dude dancin' next him.
Did someone else noticed the lovely kiss between Scott and Garcia at the end of the performance? :3
+Kekelo Raptor What the fuck was that? I´ve noticed that too..
+Tomas Creatini Ehh argentino! jaja
Yes 😍
it's not a pansy thing at all. A real rocker does whatever he feels is needed to express himself, even if that is kissing another dude.
sebsaja idk about all that dude lol
cant believe this exist! this is amazing. I digs it baby!
Dang! This just popped up on my feed, i saw Danzig and White Zombie in 94' and i couldn't remember the 3rd band but this is who it was.
Saw them live in Milan in 1993 or 1994....a great show indeed
The greatest most underrated band ever period
I agree
Nigga what?
A form of handshake? Obviously you have never been to Italy and based that on some sort of pizza-mandolino-mafia cliché. Also.. if you go in another country do you lost all your habits and immediately absorb the ones of your destination? It's like saying you start speak mandarin when you land China.
bjork is a effing genius, jalamanta remains one of my favorite albums of all time
In Italia cazzo!!!!!
A videomusic cazzo!
Power noise all'ennesima potenza! 🚀
scotts bass playing is so fucking groovy at the 20 min interlude
Where has this been all my life🎉
Lovin seeing Garcia live!
Fantastic stuff thank you for uploading this from a very grateful fan in England 🏴🤘🤪👍💞✝️🙏🏻💕
Che fantastica band, incredibili dal vivo!
Hope Mr Reeder still has my Indian necklace I have him after stage diving at the Cockpit in Leeds in 95. Brilliant bass player. Was doing the opposite of all metal bass players of the time.
One of the best live versions of Freedom Run I have heard =)
One of the best live asteroid versions ever done
Goddamnit the Bass is one Hell of a Axe 🪓⚡️🔌🌪🎸
2018 much love for legends of stoner
GRANDE GRANDISSIMO CHI LO HA REGISTRATO GRAZIE SEI UN GRANDE ME LO RICORDO COME SE FOSSE IERI ANCHE IL CONCERTO DEL 95 A MODENA AMMORE A PRIMA VISTA FU E PREZIOSO CONTRIBUTO VISTO CHE IL AMTERIALE DI VIDEOMUSIC è SPARITO TOTALMENTE
God DAMN these dudes could jam.
ps love the kiss between Scott and John hahaha xp
A hell of a performance and a hell of a smooch at the end. Respect.
That threw me off are they a couple?
Great show
This is the best version of one inch man ive ever seen
You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like
E non solo...i concerti del Monsters Of Rock, Gods Of Metal...SGRRANG!!!, l'unico programma in tv dove giravano i video metal...immensa Videomusic,
The true sons of BLUE CHEER !!
