Super nice video and animation for explaining the main differences between 13B MSP vs all other 13B with traditional P port exhaust. Most my friend kept telling me to turbo my RX8… but it’s not a good idea to gain power due to side ports and higher compression rotor. I will refer them to watch this video. Many thanks! All the best!
What are the gains like on the rx8 renesis engine with aggressive bridge porting during a rebuild assuming no ecu tune? Where are the gains obtained within the rev range?
It's down to driveability. Extra porting is similar to having high lift cams and more valve overlap in a conventional piston engine, i,e, race engine isn't very happy at low revs trundling around town. My street ported RX8 is still quite happy to cruise but a bridge ported one would be less so.
I would think as a Project why Not but as a Daily it's not the best car you can get. Its up to you how you can handle it with all the costs and the reliability that comes with the car. And of course how the condition from the car is. Its my opinion and btw i'm 18 so i havn't expirence with the car yet. Exept an School Project that i have at the moment about the reliability from the Rotary Engine in the RX 7. (Sorry for the Bad English) Greetings from Germany
It's a good car but really thirsty. If you're ready to spend more on gas than your friends, go for it. But otherwise I'd look into buying an mx 5 or something similar. I went with the mx 5.
@@jareknowak8712 yeah i'm an apprentice at an Mechanic School to learn to work as an Mechanic. Its a double training where you are in school and at work in an Workshop for car reparing (in Germany normal). We have projects where we can choose the topic and i choose the Rotary Engine because it's interesting for me. Btw i work at Mercedes😀

When are you gonna make a video on phil
great explanation simole and accurate♥♥
So what port is best for a car I use not that much only in the summer?
Is it possible to run a Rotary on just a P-Port in the housing with no ports in the iron?
Thanks in advance :)
Love to talk about how to do the pport.... great info
Im 13 and i really enjoy this videos. Keep it up

Does this affect emissions or why does the manufacturer not do this?
logan Byrom yeah it’s probably emissions or the fact that the cars are initially meant to make less power

What type of Wankel RCE, what type of porting, with what purpose?
Blessings +

What if you just port the entire engine by removing it, and putting an LS in its place?
And LS-Port?
first hahahahah epic and cool lmaoooo
Congrats.
LS SWAP
in my ass
That's a great way to rip the soul out of a rotary car, might as well LS swap an LFA too 😂😂
