I never thought I’d say this but the 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel is a few thousand cheaper, it comes with leather seats, better infotainment, better instruments, and a nicer interior. Also, while styling is subjective, to me it appears that the Dodge is better looking.
The Ram's IFS is a piece of shit design and you have to pay for the upgraded (and unreliable) air ride system to even get a Rebel with more ground clearance than a stock 2019 Ram 1500. A 2019 Ram Rebel starts at the exact same price as a 2019 Silverado Trail Boss. Either truck's price goes up with added options. You can't get a Ram Rebel for "a few thousand cheaper" than this truck when they're similarly equipped.
jm14918 LMAO a little 1-inch lift over a stock Ram 1500. The previous. Ram's IFS was a weak piece of shit and for 2019 Ram uses plastic upper control arms. What a fucking joke!
Always Drove Chevy & GMC Trucks ... I bought a new 97 Ford F150 4.6 V8 5-speed when it came out & have worked it like a one ton many times ... 255,000 miles later it's STILL Working Hard With NO PROBLEMS Ever !!
I really love how they brought back the air vents in the back and this is the first time I have ever liked the wood grain trim, it definitely looks premium!
It would be so awesome if every new car sales person was as interested and familiar with the vehicles they are selling as you are. Great job on the video. Thank you.
I do love when the sales person dose the research about the vehicle like you did. I think this is something that every sales person should be doing. I get so annoyed when I know more about the vehicles then the person trying to sell me the vehicle. Good Job I just wish everyone else did the research too.
Wait until next year. All the GM-Trucks forums have already predicted that GM will go all aluminum. I'm not an expert, but I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night!
most major manufacturers use aluminum panels on things that move, doors hoods lift gates etc. They have been doing that for along long time not just ford
Chevy Dude Peterbilt has been building aluminum trucks for years. Also the trailers that carry the freight are made of aluminum, drywall and plywood. So go tell that to the big boys.
I have been a Chevy truck driver for the last 30 plus years and usually it takes me a little while to "warm up" to the new body styles but I always love them after they have been out for a while and this new model is no different but I definitely like all the new features especially the attention to trailer towing as I pull a trailer with my business a lot. Great video.
This looks like a really sweet truck Im in Ontario,Canada my 05 Trailblazer has almost 300,000km still running like a beast besides the normal problems lol
One of your best videos. I never had anyone give me so many facts in a good concise manner. Most sales people don’t even know their products. 90% of the time I have to explain the vehicle to them. Love the truck. Want to hear more about the engine - the most important part imho.
Captain James if there is one thing most of the car guys don’t know, it’s product. Some of these guys are straight greeters from Walmart. This guys knows his cars and trucks. That’s why he is as good as he is. There is a semi truck salesmen on you tube who sells new trucks. You should see his videos lol He is a straight idiot. He pops the hood in one of his videos and says “it’s red and it works” about the 45k motor u see the hood. Hahaha This guy here is a breath of fresh air. For sure.
Michael Bacon they just mastered centering the steering wheel and rear AC vents. Give them few more years to catch up. Until then enjoy the 1000’s of special packages they will offer
Jason Larsen my 03 Silverado SS has a centered steering wheel and rear vents. Somewhere along the lines after that they just got braindead morons in charge of their truck design
Aluminum is a fairly strong material, not as strong as steel, but it works in airplanes...All depends on the application. Pushing on it with your hands shouldn't dent it. I can tell you a story about a customer closing his hood with his elbows because his hands were dirty, brand new car with two dings trying to avoid getting it dirty, steel hood thunderbird. :)
Flash to pass is for letting drivers know that you are about to pass them ( on a two lane highway) or if they are in the left lane on the interstate and you would like to pass them. It’s not to piss anyone off... oh, and thanks for the video!!!
Sadly the front styling is the same bad design on the new camaros, if that didnt have any badging i wouldnt even think thats a chevy.....i do think their interior is much improved though, i like that.
I agree my 2017 sierra is way better then these "new" interiors. I had a 2014 Ram and it was miles ahead of the new GM offerings...A big step back in my opinion
Drove Chevys and GMCs all my life and loved them. This past March, I decided to try something new and got a 2018 F150. Never looked back. It’s such a nicer and better truck IMO. And now, after seeing these trucks, I’m even happier with my decision. Ram has become quite a contender and will get some serious consideration when the time comes for my next truck, but I’ll have to wait for the next gen Chevys 7+ years from now to see if I would think about going back.
Not sure why everyone is trash talking the truck. Its not the best looking because it different, but i think it looks kinda cool. Lots of gadgets, features. Also you did a awsome job describing the truck. Wish i could afford it.
I hope gm comes out with a 10’ bed. Reason being, you can have a full size tool box and still haul 4x8 sheets. Even if they just put it on a standard cab or extended cab plain Jane truck. I think it would sell🤔🤔🤔
I don't know if anybody has already said this, but I'm thinking they don't spray the inside of the tailgate because the latch/locking mechanism needs to be accessible if there's a problem. There should be removable panels under that plastic cover.
I'm Your Huckleberry your right on 5.4 with there timing chain but Chevy has plenty of issue with there v8 engine that goes in 4 cylinder mode and causing a dead hole miss fire because one of the lifters took a crap. Plus all equinox, Acadia and terrain needs a new motor and transmission because there built shitty. I work on plenty of Chevy's and seen alot of people going to Ford over Chevy.
I am a gm guy, but i am not a fan of the new truck.... those bed lighting positions are in the worse locations. People who actually use there trucks for loading/unloading material, will damage those lights. And ranch noooo’s are the worse shocks you can put on a truck!
And yet even Ford uses Ranchos on their F-150 "off-road" packages. They're shitty shocks but all half-tons with offroad packages come with shitty Rancho or low-end Bilstein shocks that are worthless.
When buying a new vehicle, then a dealer slaps on an off road sticker “trail boss” or “off road” etc on it and says it’s off road capable. But yet when the truck hits minor pot holes it’s like teeth chattering or it feels like the truck is going to fall apart...
Great jobs I appreciate all the detail! I am looking to purchase later this year! I will know more about the Chevrolet Silverado than most salesmen! Thank you for what you do!
I honestly think if you like this design especially the interior than you are a fanboy of Chevy and would like a pile of crap with a bowtie on it. I drove Ford trucks for 25 years, had a 2018 F-150 Platinum and now a 2019 RAM 1500 Limited. I know both have their own set of styling that people don't like but I there is so much "cheap" looking stuff on this truck especially for the price. He even said "chincy". Keep making those aluminum digs/comments as Chevy continues using more of it. I don't think Ford has had an issue with people closing the hood on their trucks.
Scott Rosen he is a salesman so he has to make some bogus sales pitch. The truth is Peterbilt has been building aluminum trucks for years. The trailers that carry the freight are made of aluminum, drywall and plywood. So if the big boys can use aluminium then a half ton can use it.
2018 Silverado, best Chevy truck imo. I've owned Fords, Toyota's, and lots of Chevy's. I bought a 2018 Silverado knowing it was the last boxy Chevy pickup that will be produced. The end of an era for Chevy. Some people hate the square fenders, I love them, it's a truck. 2018 Silverado grill and hood are awesome looking. I upgraded the tires and out a 2" level on the front. perfect truck in my opinion. I love Chevy, but I think they sold out a bit with the 2019 in terms of design.
even as a hard ram fan this new trail boss could be a better off-road competitor if they could have just optioned it with the 6.2 the 5.3 is so much slower than the 5.7 Hemi
The plastic part on the gate is for replacement purposes... reusable replaceable part. You always damage the tail gate if you're not careful or you scratch and damage the inside. It's nice that you can replace one or the other with having to have the gate resprayed!
Haha, some stupid fool will fall for it! What a joke, no thanks, I’ll weld my own, buy a flowmaster, all stainless, and I bet I will have less than 700 in it
I have a 17 LTZ and looking at upgrading. Work true is a f150 with the auto off, and to me if you have to push it off every time you start the truck that is a no go for me.
Wow 2019 Chevys finally have options the 2015 fords come with. Bed Lights/Led light on tailgate for trailer/remote tailgate/rear seat fold up with storage area. The 2011 F150 had a shoulder belt for the middle front seat. Really impressed! Lmao
Honestly, they're very ugly. Too many aggressive and sharp design cues making for a funky shape. It seems like they tried too hard in the styling department. It makes me like the 2014-2018 generation much better, particularly the 2016 facelift.
From a mechanics point of view. I'm thinking that the tail gate doesnt have the spray on bed liner so its easier to take the tail gate apart to fix stuff that will need to be repaired in the future. Usually the tail gate has an access panel on the inside. Just my two cents. Good video 👍👍👍
I think the tailgate has the drop in bed liner for ease of access to the mechanism that runs the gate. Not crazy about the styling. My absolute favorite body style, besides the old square body, is the 14 and 15 model years.
Best walk around I have ever seen. Nice job. I bought a 2014 silverado 1500 Z71 ltz new back in early 2015. I am interested in the trailboss and will reach out in the next few months.
You will not dent the hood by closing it normally. The aluminum hood is a thicker gauge than a steel hood would be to achieve the same strength, and actually is about 30% more resistant to denting than a comparable steel hood. In fact these thin gauge high strength steels used by most manufacturers today are significantly more prone to denting than either mild steel or aluminum body panels.
Wow love the brand new Silverados very nice and so much new updates and GM has done so much amazing to the trucks I am excited to see the new sierras also that is very amazing and I am excited to see more updates and also love the automatic tailgate 😀😀😀
Everbody saying they don't like it now but I promise you it will grow on you. When they first showes these new ones earlier this year I was totally disappointed and I thought they were going the wrong direction with the design. But now after seeing more of these trucks I cant wait to see it in person. Btw, if you press and hold the tailgate switch it should close it as well.
Bought a 2018 Sierra premium plus yesterday because GM lost their minds with the new design. GM if you need someone to lead you back in the right direction let me know.
Thanks for the video Chevy Dude. Very informative. Looks like they moved the front wheels up to create more cab space. In turn, this leads to a shorter and more sloped front hood. I like that. The 14-18 Silverados/Sierras have too long and too high of a hood. It makes it difficult to see over them.
Same height as you. I own a 2010 Sierra and I can see over the hood with no issues. When I recently sat in a 2018 base Sierra, it's the first thing that stood out to me. The hood is squarish, high, and long. The Ford and Dodge trucks I test drove had short hoods that sloped down, making visibility better for me...at least.
Chevy Dude. On the Fast Lane the Chevy product specialist said "Anything with a hinge is aluminum" So anything that can bolted to the vehicle. Cheers MJ
Great video. I’ve been looking into a trail boss. Only thing is that I can’t figure out why you can’t get navigation. Being an off road oriented vehicle means you might take it places you don’t get cell phone reception as I do now. Embedded navigation would be nice at least as an option. I did see a place on the Chevy site that said it is Dealer upgradeable to embedded navigation. Is that true and how much does it cost? Thanks!
Captain Stabbin 38k on mine...GM makes the smoothest riding trucks from my experience comparing to Ford and Dodge(owned all 3 4x4) but the down side is the tow rate and def placement. The def location is ridiculous on GM! Under the hood!?! Overall love the truck.
Great video.. the only thing that i like about the new truck is the camera system and the rear vents. My 17 i think is one of the best designs since the 2000 model year. This one would definitely have grow on you.
That flimsy plastic hood latch will break the first day of winter lol. And did he say be careful when you close the hood because you'll dent it? Wow $55K and that's what you get, bonkers.
I hate that I now have a generation old pickup but I’m glad I bought the 2018 Redline LTZ Z71. I wish they would have gone to push button start/keyless entry a couple years sooner. I’m not digging the body style of the new one but it may grow on me. My next truck will be a 2500 so we shall see.
What you didn't cover, maybe didn't know, is that the tailgate is power UP and down! TRY IT! Also if you slightly lift the tailgate the auto lift will take over!
1 MAN ARMY Guzman Hahaha, funny you mentioned that. I had a 2000 Stepside. I loved the truck. I got rid of it because The Entire Undercarriage, including brake & fuel lines, was literally becoming rust to dust. I was pissed. Filed a complaint to NHTSA. They said they were looking into it. When GM went bankrupt 2008 everything went into the garbage. Years 1999 to 2003 bad batch of steel. I believe Toyota was having some recalls about 'rust out' problems, too. NAFTA gave us bad steel. Foreign steel dumped on market equals cheap prices & screwed consumers down the road. I bought a 2012 SVT Raptor. Everything is different today, but I cannot find square tires to fit GM'S square wheelwells. So, until then, I'll wait & stick with the FORD. I do like Cadillac, though.
Juan Mora haha first learn how to spell before you talk shit son... it's dumb not dum lol ironic 😂😂.... u mad Chevys rust to shit and their transmissions, fuel pumps, brake lines, and head gaskets are trash? Will see how these new trucks will look like in 15 years, that was my question!
Eric Stewart ahhh gotcha! Yea will see how these new trucks will look like after 15 years after a few tough salty winters! Also, I wonder if you'll be able to get them for 8,000 or else like u can get old trucks today haha
I'll keep my 2012 1500 lt crew cab extra short bed. Has just enough "fearures" while still being a "truck" rides perfect, stops perfect, runs perfect and has all the power I need it to have, absolutely no problems and Chevy dealerships are still impressed with the looks and condition of it. And yes it sees work. But I do miss my 98 1500 5spd. Chevy needs to bring the 5/6 spd manual back to its trucks. (Not sure if it's an option or not, all I have heard is dodge is the only one that still offers it so I can be horribly wrong)
Ford Raptor is a wayyy better buy. This is all flash, it couldn't handle what the Raptor takes on. "Boss" in no way shape or form. The Raptor is the true boss.
id be willing to guess they kept the drop in Berliner on the tailgate to help with the auto open and keep it from slamming because spray in bed liner is HEAVY
Very nice and informative video Mark, and yes youdo try to show every detail the truck has and I agree that you go beyond what anyone else does , and we the perspective owners appreciate it vvmuch!!
Yea, NO.... the very first week I cut off that stock exhaust system myself and replaced it. For a complete cat-back system you should be looking at less than $2,000. I don't even know where you would find a cat-back system for these trucks worth more than 2,000? Soo you guys are charging 5,000 for labor??
Chevy Dude what do you mean “properly”? Do you mean at the dealership? You’re bat shit crazy if you think I’d ever spend $7k on a fucking exhaust system.
I like the Trail Boss but the deal breaker is for me and why I will not buy one is because chevy won't let you up grade to the 6.2L and they are still last in each towing class! Come on GM let chevy really compete in towing and build a raptor killer! Great video with lots I'm info!
Hows the interior on these new trucks plastic-wise? What i mean is on the previous gen you could grab any of the plastic panels, for example the trailer brakes to the left of the steering wheel, and yank around that whole panel. Is the new interior more sturdy in that aspect? I'm extremely happy they've moved away from the dome bubble buttons as well. Can't wait to see how the I6 diesel performs.
Excellent video. Very informative. Hoping by next summer you'll have enough trucks in your lot for me to find the one I can afford. Keep up the good work.
They pretty much just boosted their used sales for their 2016-2018 trucks with this release.
nkyryry lol
nkyryry proud owner of a 2016 and a 2018 and they both just increased in value!
this truck has the same interior as my 17’ sierra SLT
nkyryry Seriously, going to get a 2018 while I still can.
Jim Rr I grabbed my LTZ Z71 3 weeks ago exactly for this reason; and got $10k off sticker because they “needed to make room” for the ‘19s.
I was a Chevy guy for years but ever since I drove the ford superduty I am sold!!!!! I bought the xl model.....simple basic and no fancy gadgets.
I never thought I’d say this but the 2019 Ram 1500 Rebel is a few thousand cheaper, it comes with leather seats, better infotainment, better instruments, and a nicer interior. Also, while styling is subjective, to me it appears that the Dodge is better looking.
William Monto Ram also has a locking rear axle.
You can't get a Ram Rebel for "a few thousand cheaper" than this truck when they're similarly equipped.
jm14918 "Ram also has a locking rear axle"
Both trucks have locking rear axles, dumbass.
hochhaul The Rebel comes standard with increased ride height regardless of which suspension is chosen. Dumbass.
jm14918 LMAO a little 1-inch lift over a stock Ram 1500.
2014 best all time Silverado best design classic! " flash the lights when you get pissed at someone" lol
avery gentry Well the Corvette designers did come up with that design in 2014 so that explains a lot.
boring I can do that myself dont really need that as a feature smh Chevy
I really love how they brought back the air vents in the back and this is the first time I have ever liked the wood grain trim, it definitely looks premium!
It would be so awesome if every new car sales person was as interested and familiar with the vehicles they are selling as you are.
Great job on the video.
Thank you.
Amazing initial review, I love the honest no BS way you describe things. You say what I'm thinking a lot of times.
I don't know how I feel about the new truck. It's definitely different, it's something that will grow on me

I get so annoyed when I know more about the vehicles then the person trying to sell me the vehicle. Good Job I just wish everyone else did the research too.
So much for the GM ads slamming Ford for aluminum body parts.
Wait until next year. All the GM-Trucks forums have already predicted that GM will go all aluminum. I'm not an expert, but I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night!
You do a great job. I love your enthusiasm and appreciate the info and walk-thru.

I love my 2014 lifted Silverado it has the classic front end square look
I'm really curious to know why Chevy hasn't gone to panoramic roofs on trucks as an option yet.
Michael Bacon they just mastered centering the steering wheel and rear AC vents. Give them few more years to catch up. Until then enjoy the 1000’s of special packages they will offer
Michael Bacon I don’t think is safe tbh dude when you roll over your done pretty much
Jason Larsen
😂😂
Jason Larsen my 03 Silverado SS has a centered steering wheel and rear vents. Somewhere along the lines after that they just got braindead morons in charge of their truck design
Sunroofs compromise the structural integrity of the vehicle.

I was looking foward, to buy a nice chevy truck, but for fhis price, will get a 2019, raptor,
You cant afford a raptor.
We went through the angry face car design fad in the late 50s, early 60s, this to shall pass.
And the side view has a feminine look to it as well on this truck
Improved interior? Looks only slightly different from last year's model and 10 years behind Ford and Ram. Outdated is a better description.
I agree my 2017 sierra is way better then these "new" interiors. I had a 2014 Ram and it was miles ahead of the new GM offerings...A big step back in my opinion
yea id definately rather get a gmc sierra over that truck, i love their new tailgate design as well

Wood grain trim inside a off-road trim truck? Interesting choice

David Denman Even an 8 foot bed looks goofy as fuck, 10 would just be silly.
I don't know if anybody has already said this, but I'm thinking they don't spray the inside of the tailgate because the latch/locking mechanism needs to be accessible if there's a problem. There should be removable panels under that plastic cover.
Seems like my 16 ford has a lot of these "cool new features"
jay bugni Ford has always been first....in breaking down.
Actually no ur truck has a stone age aluminum bed and that would only be If u adds mods plus Ford's known for there shitty materials
I'm Your Huckleberry your right on 5.4 with there timing chain but Chevy has plenty of issue with there v8 engine that goes in 4 cylinder mode and causing a dead hole miss fire because one of the lifters took a crap. Glad I seen the video. At first, I wasn’t liking the new design but now I love it.

The tailgate will also lift itself with the buttons
I just bought a Chevy Silverado and love it but I think I want one of these now! Damn...
I hope my 2018 holds its value because it’s the last year of that body style
It's a chevy truck....they probably built a couple hundred thousand...no offense but don't hold your breath.
Vehicles depreciate.
James Connor,
Some more than others…
Ricardo Quezada Some of us will buy 2018s just to avoid the 2019.
Great jobs I appreciate all the detail! I am looking to purchase later this year! I will know more about the Chevrolet Silverado than most salesmen! Thank you for what you do!

Haha, some stupid fool will fall for it! What a joke, no thanks, I’ll weld my own, buy a flowmaster, all stainless, and I bet I will have less than 700 in it
They've had stainless.
I know this is a joke, but there actually is platinum in car exhaust systems. Both the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors contain it.
Damnit you beat me to it. Was gonna say, well yes it is made of platinum haha

I believe if you hold the tailgate release button with the tailgate down. I believe it will raise back up and latch close.
How much rocker rust will my new Silverado have as soon as I drive it off the lot?
I already orderd my 19' Silverado High country just because it comes with the 6.2L I will be lifting it.
Think they have a locking rear axle also.
Yes.
I think the tailgate has the drop in bed liner for ease of access to the mechanism that runs the gate. Not crazy about the styling. My absolute favorite body style, besides the old square body, is the 14 and 15 model years.
Fords exhaust isn’t below the frame and still has the flat floor.. not sure if ya meant something else 🤔
Klperformance68 sales pitch to people who don't know any better
Best walk around I have ever seen. Nice job. I bought a 2014 silverado 1500 Z71 ltz new back in early 2015. I am interested in the trailboss and will reach out in the next few months.
curious to hear more about the 4 cylinder turbo. your thoughts on it, ins, outs, purchase and lease price.
hes got a video on the 4 cylinder
You will not dent the hood by closing it normally. The aluminum hood is a thicker gauge than a steel hood would be to achieve the same strength, and actually is about 30% more resistant to denting than a comparable steel hood. In fact these thin gauge high strength steels used by most manufacturers today are significantly more prone to denting than either mild steel or aluminum body panels.
There was a ford ad before this... How come we never see chevy ads on youtube anymore
Because RUclips makes fun of Chevy ads
Brock Moore ads are determined by your browsing history and cookie trails.... ads you see , are not the same as what others see
Wow love the brand new Silverados very nice and so much new updates and GM has done so much amazing to the trucks I am excited to see the new sierras also that is very amazing and I am excited to see more updates and also love the automatic tailgate 😀😀😀
$7k exhaust system!? How the hell do they come up with that price?
Everbody saying they don't like it now but I promise you it will grow on you. When they first showes these new ones earlier this year I was totally disappointed and I thought they were going the wrong direction with the design. But now after seeing more of these trucks I cant wait to see it in person. Btw, if you press and hold the tailgate switch it should close it as well.
Bro , we need Tom Peters back as chief designer !
Viages 7693 is it because of the Tacoma F-150 Silverado style? 😂😂
JoshThe FordFan yeah, and because of the C7, and the 5th-6th(16-18) Camaro, jet fighter as he described !
It makes it difficult to see over them.
joeraptor1 You must be short. I'm 5'10" and can see over it fine.
Same height as you. I own a 2010 Sierra and I can see over the hood with no issues. When I recently sat in a 2018 base Sierra, it's the first thing that stood out to me. The hood is squarish, high, and long. The Ford and Dodge trucks I test drove had short hoods that sloped down, making visibility better for me...at least.
joeraptor1 Can see over my '17 3500HD Denali Duramax just fine.
Chevy Dude. On the Fast Lane the Chevy product specialist said "Anything with a hinge is aluminum" So anything that can bolted to the vehicle.
Cheers
MJ
Best looking Chevy trucks were in 2014 and 2015. 2016-2018 weren’t too bad. But 2019...awful inside and out haha
Best looking Chevy Trucks were 06-07
67' to 72'
I like 99 to 02, the rest of the first gens are Asian eyes lol, and 08 to 13 are decent but I think the 14 to 18s are both pretty good looking
Best Chevy trucks 72 silverado 87 and 93 454 ss depending on what engine you like 95 96 and the 99 and 07 classics all in a single cab body
acar326 crazy 16 to 18 front end looks was nicer unless you like the style of the 14 -15 because the front looks like the 95-98
Great video. Thanks!
They had to add that tailgate protector because of all the smack they talked about ford
Awesome info man, always loved the Chevrolet brand and all the tech they are introducing into their new models. Keep it up brother!
I still think my 16 2500 dirtymax looks better but this might grow on me.
Tailgate plastic cover is so you can slide your cargo into the bed. If it’s sprayed things don’t slide.
Why is a Chevy Dealer selling Tundras??? Haha JK , I bet this joke is getting old
FixItNick used cars
Put them all side by side, the new ram looks far more like a Toyota than they Chevy.
It is.
Is it weird that for the last week or two I’ve only gotten Ford ads when I watch your vids lololol. Great vid by the way!!!
So front rotors last at least twice as long as previous rotors. Great. Now they'll go 1000 miles before brake pedal pulsing.
I bet they will in my area I live in the rust belt in upstate NY Im a chevy tech and haven't seen a rustless rotor yet lol
I STILL CAN’T BELIEVE YOU SOLD A OUT OF WARRANTY MODDED AND DRIVEN THE PISS OUT OF 2015 CHEVY SILVERADO HIGH COUNTRY FOR 40 FUCKING THOUSAND! 😂😂😂
I like those fleet silverados in the background with gated beds...you should do some videos and give them some love!
Built in, locking pistol case would be awesome.
hood latch is weight savings i'd wager and the modern materials dont have as bad of a cold season brittleness going on.
Michael Amurgis bueno
Great video.. the only thing that i
like about the new truck is the
camera system and the rear vents.
My 17 i think is one of the best designs since the 2000 model year.
This one would definitely have grow on you.
That flimsy plastic hood latch will break the first day of winter lol. And did he say be careful when you close the hood because you'll dent it? Wow $55K and that's what you get, bonkers.
I agree, this thing is a piece of garbage and costs about 3 times what it should. cheap plastic crap, and its ugly to boot
What's sticker price on that 2019 LT Z71 club cab
What you didn't cover, maybe didn't know, is that the tailgate is power UP and down! TRY IT! Also if you slightly lift the tailgate the auto lift will take over!
U guys think in like 15 years in the Midwest these trucks will be rusted out like a typical 2000 Chevy is rusted today?
1 MAN ARMY Guzman
Hahaha, funny you mentioned that.
1 MAN ARMY Guzman dum comment from a dum ass person I rather drive. A old school chevy then the ugly ass 2000 ford or dodge
In 15 years I will be all eat up and full of holes.
I got a 2019 gmc Sierra Denali has a 3.5 inch lift and som3 37x13 ridge grappers on a 22 inch hotstile rim-44 straight supercharge
Time to switch to mopar
Join the club. I'm a Dodge man now. I use to be a Chevy man.
I like it, wish it had 6.2L available though
It does, in the upper trim levels.
Captain Stabbin noo thx!
5.3L was designed for picking up groceries and trips to the mall.
Dean Sikorski You're an idiot.
Love it, I'm getting one, great design!
Wow, the dash is so ugly now. My 2015 All Terrain looks SOOO much better. Why the ugly redesign and why did they remove so many USB ports?
Lannie Schafroth but your steering wheel and cluster isn’t centered with your seat 🙃
Its never been an issue for me. You dont even notice its off. If it is, its not much.
I'm keeping my All Terrain as well..
Very nice and informative video Mark, and yes youdo try to show every detail the truck has and I agree that you go beyond what anyone else does , and we the perspective owners appreciate it vvmuch!!
6:40 $7000 exhaust system? Salesman really do coke haha!
Yea, NO.... the very first week I cut off that stock exhaust system myself and replaced it.
I can’t wait to see people build these trucks
That's honestly the most disgusting truck I've ever seen. General Motors is losing their mind...
TIGER x GAMING the GMC looks awesome!
tybosports It does look better than the Silverado, but still pretty bad lol
I love the new gmc front end. I like the big grill!
I like the Trail Boss but the deal breaker is for me and why I will not buy one is because chevy won't let you up grade to the 6.2L and they are still last in each towing class! Come on GM let chevy really compete in towing and build a raptor killer! Great video with lots I'm info!
I don't like it I'm glad I went for the 2018 Silverado
Kevin Stevens U and I brother 👌👌👌🤘💪
waiting for a bigger sale to get one 😂 its coming.
Thats what everyone says that got the model before the new one came out.!
I'm totally getting one. The grill looks like a face of a Gundam. Totally Badass.
Take my money. I need it.
I dont see 40-50 grand ..
Tod fourtwentyone Union , medical benefits , high factory wages, over priced shipping charges , etc etc.
that’s why his 30k truck is so expensive.
Excellent video. Very informative. Hoping by next summer you'll have enough trucks in your lot for me to find the one I can afford. Keep up the good work.
Shame on GM for using start/start. Come on, GM, you can do better then that.
Frank Diebolt The 2019 Cruze will have a button to shut off auto stop feature. I don’t know if any others will have it.
Everyone has it now.
I just learned today that Ford uses it with their V8 trucks. Oh well.
About the tailgate plastic cover. You can’t bolt on steel and aluminum together. It will cause galvanic corrosion.
