I've had significant scoliosis for most of my life, but only regular discomfort/pain in the past few years (since my mid-40's). I just worked through these exercises for the first time and I am sitting here absolutely stunned by how comfortable and pain-free my back feels. I forgot what this felt like! Thanks so much.

I have been to specialists and multiple doctors since I was 15 over my back.. it took 3 years to get a diagnosis and then the specialists told me that I was exaggerating because there was "no proof scoliosis causes pain." I was devastated and am still suffering. I am 37 now and have never known relief. Thank you.

Well I had doctors telling me that too, simply because the pain , in my case anyway, is caused by the nerves not being where they should be. Remedial massages and yoga have saved me from every day pain. They also say rotation of torso isn’t good but how come it feels so good 🤔

Fire that Doctor!! In 2018-19, I consulteed with 6 different Spinal / Neural Surgeons for surgical opinions for my Spinal Conditions which included various sites of Mild to Mderate Stenosis, Disc Bulges / herniations , Spinal Spondyliosis, facet joint arthritis and Lumbar Dextroscoliosis of 22 degrees. Much of this has been created by having a 1" shorter Right leg The Leg Length Discrepancy was caused by a fractured femur in 1966 at age 15 , playing HS Football. It was left unaddressed by the Ortho dr at the time. AFter about 15 years or so, the Lower back Stiffness started and Progressed to wreak Havoc in my Spine, Hips, SI Joints, up to the top of my neck. The SI Joints (Inflammed for YEARS) are Ground Zero for most, if not all Back Issues / Conditions (per my Rheumatologist). The Physiatry Balance of the body was affected and that has created the Misery I feel at 73 YO now. One Surgeon at Mt. Sinai in NYC, told me that many Doctors count Scoliosis "short". Not only is the Spine Curved it is also Twisted - that affects the various Nerves that come form the Spinal Canal throiugh the Formina / facet jouints and feed the various organs / muscles in the body. I'm in daily discomfort with some days much worse than others . Been to 6 different Chiros, Acupuncturists, PTs aplenty, with little relief. However, Lately I've been doing more and more Stretching (general modes) and that is providing some help to loosen the terrible Stiffness in the back and the Muscles. My Conditions have also spawned Fibromyalgia as well......Muscle /Jount Tenderness and pain everywhere. Lastly, I take many supplements in the Hope fo finding Magic Pills,. Haven't found that yet, but some do help.

Thank you so much! I am 67 years old and developed scoliosis about 5 years and seems to be progressing quickly. (10 degrees), not to mention, debilitating. Not one person has addressed what I can do to help slow the progression. All I get is more pain killers and nerve blockers. I just finished 3 months of P.T., which mostly addressed balance issues but also included my knee and lower back. I had an L3-S1 fusion about 18 years ago. On my second to last day of PT, I re-injured my back. No more Doctors. Just chiropractic. I feel this is my only hope.
This is GREAT. I will go to town this weekend to get a foam roller and can't wait to get started. Maybe it will also help with my depression and anger. Thank you SO MUCH!

I have significant scoliosis in an s-curve as well as lordosis. I've been struggling with random back pain instances that have ranged from tolerable to totally unbearable. These past few weeks have been horrendous due to acute lower back pain. I have gone for physiotherapy, with acupuncture, twice within a timeframe of about 6 days and nothing changed at all. I even thought about seeing a chiropractor! I came across this video out of sheer desperation from not being able to handle the pain anymore. After trying the 'sexy pose' stretch, I could almost immediately feel a difference. I became more mobile and felt like a new person. I'm thanking you from the bottom of my heart. My lower back pain is finally starting to go away thanks to your advice, you're a lifesaver!

Curved and twisted at a 70°>, was 65 but gets worse over time. I’m 26 and have been going to the same pain clinic for over 11 years and I’m telling you that you HAVE TO do more than take your medication or your going to be in more pain and suffer. The more tools the better!! Usually over the years I was shown the same stretches during physical therapy, so this helps add to my bag of tricks!!! 🙌🏽🙏🏾

Found your video and will try these exercises. Born with scoliosis. I'm 66, swim, bike, yin yoga, former runner and have pain/ severe spasms between shoulder blades and lower back. A retired Dental Hygienist, I thought my pain/spasms was from my work position but retired 3 years and pain increasing. 5 months ago sitting on a concrete bench at an outdoor concert, I got a severe back spasm in my back right side that literally threw me supine. It's affecting my right hip and right leg. I can bike 50-75 miles without pain but sitting, standing, walking (weight bearing) causes pain snd spasms. Leaning forward severe spasms. I went from being able to walk long distance to pain in back, hip and right leg after 1 block. I'm in physical therapy for 1 week now but I am also going to start this program tonight!!! Wish me luck!

Then, I learned how to do exercises by myself, incorporating some of the techniques you showed, although not all of them. Eventually, I was able to reduce the curve to 18 degrees. I feel that the curve has gone back to the same as before.

@@agostinaesquivel5966 Hey I used to have anxiety, extreme OCD and anxiety actually, so I know what it’s like. What I suggest the most is to just be open, be open to getting help, telling others about how you feel, open to change, open to being ok even when you don’t feel like you are, and just being open to everything. I highly suggest therapy if you aren’t already, using self affirmations (there are some great videos of this online), and meditation. If you ever need anything, let me know, I’m here for you! ❤️

So basis common sense and astounding in effect. I had the nagging thoughts my life was over. What would I do? Blessed RUclips sent me here and I resonated with it immediately. In no time at all, about 5 minutes, with a heat pad, I got right to it. Magic, the pain lessened considerably. I was able to start my day that I thought was gone from me. Maximum thanks and gratitude for putting this out. Your vibe is perfect.

I was cured of my scoliosis after 31.5 years! I fell off of my skateboard at age 15. I have tried EVERYTHING! I thought I would die with it. Guess what ? Last Friday a miracle happened and now I’m cured! My chiropractor is still in awe! It happened as a result of someone grabbing me and picking me up by my ribs! It was an accident! He had no idea what he was doing. I was stretching on my toes and my head was tilted backwards. My hands were reaching up as high as they could. Before I could resist, He grabbed me and picked me up ... we heard loud cracks like never before it scared him ! So when he put me down I was COMPLETELY STRAIGHT AGAIN. I had a severe S curve of at least 32 degrees. I had a 13 mm leg length difference... I’m cured. Now I am a little sore on my rib but I’m soooo blessed! I’m going to therapy now twice a week to keep my hip in place. ♥️♥️♥️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💫💫💫✨✨✨

My sister was born with scoliosis and spina bifida. (She was 11 months older than I)
When i was 42 (Im 50 yrs old now) I woke up one day and physically couldnt get out of bed. The pain was incredible. I Went to the doctors and was diagnosed with scoliosis and degenerative disc disease in my lumbar spine. I had fractured my L5 and S1 somehow.
Doctors wanted to perform anterior-posterior surgery on me.
The list of potential risks caused me to decline.
It was the first and only choice. I was never told of exercises or offered any pain management.
My fear is fracturing my vertebrae again.
Doctors said i have no disc in my entire lumbar spine, along with scoliosis.
I cannot convince myself that fusing my spine to be a smart choice.
Any safe suggestions for relief would be forever appreciated. Thank you so much. Peace and love 💜...Dawnmarie
