Loved the undercarriage details. It shows what separates the Raptor from lower trim levels. The suspension is Baja ready and it’s all covered under the factory warranty.
Thanks for instrument walk through. Looks great and I would buy one if it could tow 15ft hybrid caravan (2380kg empty) but it can’t in standard config. Towing, if the Raptor frame is based on Ranger & Everest why is the towing only 2500kg? The motor has same power & Torq as others, the suspension takes vertical loading so a reduced ball weight I can understand but 1000kg reduction doesn’t make any sense. A 3T towing would of been ideal with 280kg ball weight and up GVM to 5800kg
@@danielgreen8712 That all sounds great for vertical load which accounts for tow reduction. Still doesn’t account for towing as the weight is taken by the drive train, frame. The rear axle linkages are similar but not identical to Everest. If the suspension was independent like the front then maybe but there isn’t much difference frame and driveline spec ie KW , gearbox, driveline, frame.
@@1ohtaf1 I can see your belief is towing capacity is based on suspension. So based on this your suspension would be rated at 2500kg. PLS check your facts. Few engineering items to look at frame capacity, drive line ie diff, tail shaft, torq conv, engine etc. it’s horizontal loading. Isn’t the engine output higher than diesel ie KW & Torq, can the drive take engine power, think drive line might be heavier.
Please review the RAINBOW version of the Raptor. I don't feel included now as its all black red grey cars being reviewed. No RAINBOW décor on the Interior? I thought They/them s could be included in the reviews also.
The Raptor doesn't come with Gas Struts for the bonnet because it's a designated Off Road version. Basically meaning ?? You don't hit pot holes a half metre deep on the Road. But you might if you're driving Of Road where the Bonnet could open ??
Sorry, 5-foot bed is rumored on our USA version coming this fall. I am definitely getting on my local dealers list for one. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, size, power and most of all the standard Baja inspired suspension. It will float over obstacles at higher speeds.
@Jeff Ovington it's an amazing truck that's for sure but definitely can't tow with it because I tried it with my local Ford dealer here. They let me test drive the new Raptor and to tow my 6.2m aluminum boat. It has the power and frame for it no doubt but the suspension is just too soft for it which I understand is made for off roading. The cool look is what I also like about it but still didn't go for the Wildtrack model. Instead I purchased the new Navara Pro 4X with 3.5T towing. Cheers
Regarding the mood-lighting, is it only one colour? And will there be an aftermarket electric Tonneau Cover similar to the wildtrack? Asking for a friend..
Do NOT buy this truck! I got the 2024 model ranger raptor, and it has this unbearable shaky vibration, and FORD is telling me this is normal for our trucks as they are not made for the road. Every Ranger raptor in the UAE where I live is inside the service center and they probably do not want to fix them, they are telling us that this is a normal variant, and it's up to us if we want to fix this with a third party service shop. please do not buy from FORD anymore. they have lost the reputation they built.
Good review fellas. Watched many, this was well planned and covered
Great team at Stillwell Unley, awesome video Kosta your a champion! Go see these guys they are the best in the business.
The best service in South Australia

Very nice and comprehensive review.
best review I have seen so far, thank you
Impressive truck. Ford really out did the competition.
Wow! Simple detailed review!! Thank you
Thanks very much
Thanks for watching John.
Very nice walkthrough 😊
How to use the paddle shifters for the all new ranger raptor?
Oom frik knows his Boer mobile
Do the side mirrors fold when parking?
Yes, a feature in the settings
when this comes to US im thinking of ordering it would be nice daily driver
Look good
I wonder why the sensor mounted on the right rear trailing arm is fully exposed and not protected from moisture and flying rocks.
why does it have twin exhaust ?the one i reserved here in the Philippines only has 1
arent the front owing covers including ?
how much weight can ranger raptor bed rails? optional tonneau cover.
Good overview - thanks. I thought they don’t have the tow/haul mode?
@Jeff Ovington It actually can tow 5500lbs. Your information is incorrect.
Is this the European Ranger Raptor? Does the exhaust have GPFs?
Not sunroof!??
Overhead auxiliary switches must feed to a relay box somewhere. Where is that located?
Thanks for instrument walk through. Looks great and I would buy one if it could tow 15ft hybrid caravan (2380kg empty) but it can’t in standard config.

Different rear suspension on raptor, spring is on the shock strut design, everest spring is separate not on shock

Lower spring rate on the rear axle is optimized for better articulation, handling and compliance, not towing.

im sure the engineers who built it know what it can tow, just buy a wildTrak. they literally cater to everyone's needs. and yall still not happy

Pre-ordered mine yesterday :) Won't see it till end of 2023 :(
Ordered mine on20th Jan.. will get it end of Mar 😎
Ordered in November last year, get it December this year
@@Snigzel801 That's something to look forward too 😅
At least everyone will be commenting how well you have looked after your Raptor. 👍
Link on how to use the touch screen and dash please?
Other reviews state that the running boards are cast aluminum, not steel.
Good video, would like a snow mode.
Can we order with sunroof?
Does it have diesel engine ?
What is the color of this vehicle? plz...
Does the next gen Raptor has ambient lightings? Like the F150?
yes boss
Is it possible to lower suspension ?
What is the load capability of the side step do you know? Can it function as a rock slider?
I don't know that there is an official load capacity for it. As a rock slider, I would say No
The cost of these vehicles why don’t they come with gas struts under the bonnet

Mine is coming in 21 jan 2023
What’s the tow capacity?
@Jeff Ovington it has to be more than that maybe the American configuration will be different
@@cdbnum1 5500lbs.
i don’t like it when i switch to sport. it goes to 4wd then i have to press 2h to go back to 2wd sport
Lol in USA we don’t have rear vents!!
If the American version has both a crewcab and a 6 foot bed I might actually buy one
Can't forget it is a ranger and is also meant to fit the raptor form factor

This fall it will be. $60k is rumored to be the starting price.
What is the exterior color on this one?
conquer grey
Not one mention about towbar/ towing

It's a bit bizarre that the US-spec Ranger Raptor has different drive modes than the Aus/Euro-versions.

Raptor has the cover as an option. Got it on mine.
@@RomeoMihalcea Great, but are you based in Australia?
cuando la tenga me lo dices
Plastic oil sump and exposed??
Hey Ford we dont have gas station in the jungle.
Not a fan of the chrome exhaust tips.
Haha I get it

A fking rats nest of wires right on top of a engine that gets hot new cars are so stupidly designed is funny
Doesn't sound that great. Needs some pops and bangs on the overrun.
Can use some, but doesn’t need some to sound great. That v6 is solid, and sounds way better than that prrrtropoppoppoop gti from the block.
there is a video of this truck breaking a suspension arm for nothing!
