Please please help i got leather upholstery for my seats and its realy tight in some spots and some not. What can i do to get it tight all over? for example using heat or water? or do i let it sit and over time it will take the corrent shape? Please react i cant find any info online.🥺
Hello Lee, For too tightness, you might consider removing some of the padding. For too looseness, maybe adding some padding under the seat cover. Please keep liking and watching!
I have shrunk leather dash on 2014 Chrysler 300 John Varvatos edition. Can the leather be replaced without taking the dash out? I would assume the windshield would have to be removed to do it.
Yes, removing the windshield is another way of doing this.
Thanx Rudy, was that a all leather, and did you replace it with same or, or did you replace it with vinyl, also my 1970 fairlane needs its dash recovered, which type of vinyl is more forgiving to UV rays I do have some vinyl from a fairly new tonne cover that tried to escape off the back of our Toyota tundra, it flew off in the middle of busy downtown traffic, so we quickly jumped off the freeway, made our way back to the seen of the crime to pick up any evidence, & see it damaged anybody else's car we didn't find anybody stopped, we did find a big chunk of the bed cover so I picked it up, thru it back into the bed of the truck, then took off it's been sitting in the garage ever since about 10 yrs now and it's still pliable your advice would be helpful, I've was also thinking of marine vinyl ????

Can you make custom leather dash covers for other vehicles?
Yes, I can. But of course, the vehicle or dash pad needs to be in my possession.
What glue works best?
Never, ever use the stuff that sounds like "Three men". Always use a good contact cement that is usually a yellow color.

@@mcgeheewoolf2937 Go ahead if you want to. But I never would. And I would advise others not to as well. Gor Glue expands and will leave a huge mess for you. Thanks for commenting!
