My name is Adam and Ive been looking for a good "mature" sound upgrade for my S4. Got the notification while eating lunch in my car, this is perfect, thanks for the consistently solid S4 content!
Reminds me of when I got AWE midpipes on my RS3, not an extreme change, but a welcome extra growl to the exhaust note. I think that's perfect for a daily, sounds great.
Ive been finding that my exhaust sounds from inside the car have been underwhelming with everything stock. These look like a decent fix to my problem without making it too loud.
From what I've read they will just allow the car to flow a bit better and might make a little more power than with the OEM midpipes on Stage 2 power levels
downpipe form IE and intake from ECS is the first thing ive done to my b8 . I am going JHM test pipe and ECS xpipe soon since ive just went stage 3 unitronic , my complaint is that since then ive got the Iabed ind. 75mm throttle body and Unitronic got nothing for me in that matter, ive talked to john scoffi who told me they baught b8 to teste new stuff but nothing for now

It's a shame you didn't ceramic coat them to improve the heat management and help push the heat to the rear instead of it heating the surrounding area. I'm a big proponent of ceramic coating exhausts after I saw the benefits in my motorcycles :D

Why would I want to turn my euro car into rice trash? Damn...
Great comparison, planning on putting downpipes on my B8.5 for the same reason, and to replace the stock ones with a leak in the flex

Great video! Did you have the big stock resonator still in place at the time of this video?
You can also use a 1/4in ratchet with extentions and a swivel instead of the "special tool"

Great video! I have a 2015 Audi A6 3.0t. I’m looking to do IE stage 2 dual pulley. Do you think IEs downpipes on an A6 will sound similar to your s4?
I would imagine they would sound identical. The motors are the same.
Sounds perfect mate.
Thanks
High quality content and editing. 6 minutes video feels too short. Thumbs up 👍

What are your thoughts on Scorpion Exhausts for the S4?
Sadly I have no experience with Scorpion exhausts, sorry!
Nice👌 silly question are the down pipes fitted post the cats? i.e. are the cats still in place?
Not silly at all. The cats are on the bottom end of the headers. They are still on the car.

Soooooooon... I NEED MOAR POWWWAAAA

A little, ya

No, they are completely different.

Passat badge on an s4 ??
It was a joke and a troll. People got really upset when they got smoked by a Passat, lol.
Nice but just by removing resonators and welded exhaust tube would be the same and a fraction of the price
For consumers that don't have the ability to weld or just want a simple solution that they can easily install themselves, these work wonderfully.
