I have 0 mechanical experience, and following the ecs valved exhaust instructions, my cousin and I put in the exhaust with downpipes in 12 hours exactly. Took me at least 4 hours to figure out how to get those downpipes off. Did it while the car was on stands. We got all of them off with 3 ft of extensions from the top of the engine bay. Literally the hardest thing I have ever done. But possible. Have fun everyone.
I can really say your videos are very helpful. For anyone looking forward in purchasing the mid pipe from IE great buy. While removing the stock exhaust on my S5 I had to use Dremel tool to cut one of the nuts connected to down pipe that was in pretty bad shape. I have decided to remove the midpipe and upgrading to AWE touring exhaust system nothing to do with the product 😂 it gets pretty loud if that’s what your looking for but I still use it as a daily.
My catts are rattling. I will pay for the parts, 100 dollars worth of taco bell, and then let you do the labor for your channel. It's a win win for both of us.
@juanc8462 I was just quoted £750 English pounds to replace the flexis alone with them saying 5 hours labour including removal of the sub frame🤔 new downpipes 1k alone without fitting 😢
@@adamprice9214 there is an awesome video of a guy loosening the tranny a little and creating the clearance needed to remove the cats. I just ended up cutting mine out and replacing it with 200 cell cats. No removal of anything required.
Awesome job really helps the guys who haven't done this yet. I plan on doing the cat delete with the test pipes please do a video nobody has a intricate video on how to properly do this.

I am installing Gesi cats in the downpipe and i was thinking to mount a magnaflow 11385 where the baby resonators are, in order to reduce the rasp. Eventually can i remove the big resonator in the middle… or just remove all the resonators and use just the gesi
Maybe a little to raspy. I would like to hear the supercharger more. How about getting a aftermarket hood with cutouts so the excess hot air can escape the engine bay easier. And hear the supercharger better.

When doing this upgrade, do you have to re-tune your ride so that the engine knows what its dealing with?, I have done the mid muffler delete and noticed my car doesn't have the same pull as before do to …. no back pressure to push it... as like before, before I deleted the muffler..

Hey Guys, I have a B8 S4. I've been slowly modding it, but I have to be honest....I find custom exhausts do not sound good on these engines. They sound raspy and high pitched....I would only really consider it if there was a significant power gain...but the shop who developed the Eurodyne tune mentioned the stock exhaust is rated for about 650hp. To me, that says the gains will be minimal BUT you mentioned there WAS a gain with these downpipes. Do you have an idea what it would be? Did you happen to dyno before and after? I'm curious to see.
The guys at DAP didn't my 3.0t catless downpipes lil over a year ago. They where easy to deal with, I did the Magnaflow resonated x pipe becuse I hated the sound

Hey I currently have the full AWE touring exhaust with resonated downpipes on my 2013 Audi S5 which have just recently started to crack apart around the pipe on both resonators....i am currently running the Unitronic stage 1+ but am looking to upgrade to the stage 2+ which requires downpipes......would you recommend sticking to the AWE non resonated downpipes or swap to the IE downpipes? Just thinking sound and quality. What would you suggest

Hi, im looking for a 2010 s4 or a 2013 s4 al well but i saw that the automatic transmission has issues. Is it that common? Or what are other common expensive issues on this cars? I had a n63 bmw 550 and it was a nightmare to keep running.
Definitely get a 2013 or later. The DSG transmission is a lot better than the old automatic. I've owned 3 Audi's, and never had major problems, especially compared to the one BMW I owned(M5).

That top bolt is a bitch. Even with extensions and swivels and reducers and adjustable head ratchets and all that. Or at least I have yet to find a good combo on my end yet. Super annoying spot.
You should make a video on taking the supercharger off, cleaning the valves, thermostat replacement, waterpump, pcv, and test pipes.

You can find them used for $100 or less with low miles and no flex pipe damage, and replacing them isn’t awful

You get what you pay for. Quality over quantity plus its an audi. If you wanted cheap parts should’ve gone with a GM vehicle
