Yo that promo match ending was so good you’d think it was scripted. 😂 This was dope af. Edit: whats funny too was that Max went for a throw that the Steve ended up evading with LWV 1,1 and then on oki the Steve tried to return the favor by trying to throw Max. He even did the smart thing by delaying his timing by dashing up and blocking expecting either a spring kick or even rage art on immediate wake up but Max went with the delayed hard read, denying him that satisfaction. Great yomi going on in that match.

Watching this Hwoarang player really shows how certain characters can carry you for free... Dude has no combos, no punishes, just presses the buttons and gets to Bushin, maybe even will get to Tekken King. And Max was lucky to have a runback immediately and ofc GGs for the adaptation.
People say use down jab and high evading moves against steve. Do you even know how painful that is to steve players. Man he need nerfs. I always feel very low when a steve player is defeated. He puts so much effort in the character and people don’t duck use high evading moves.
That hwo is just pure comical expression of every single hwo player on the ladder. Zero punishment, full mash offense, no throw breaks and puts all responsibility on opponent knowing how to counter all his shit. Zero tekken being played. Just run his shit and power crush or b1 for turn steal to run more offense.
That hworang is one rank behind Tekken King... But at the same time max is also Bushin and unable to deal with it lol If max had just blocked the goddamn b1 and launched he would have beaten him easily. Also goddamn, please block the 3rd hit of the falling kicks haha

Max really got a lot better or at least way more confident in his gameplay conpared to the first episode. It was way more fun to watch too!
