Man I love watching these recoveries. I became a volunteer fire fighter at 12 and an MRT at 14.. Got my CDL as soon as I turned 18.. Since I've worked as a Mason, Builder, Rock Picker in Montana, Public works maintaining roads and plowing, Industrial maintenance, Do my own mechanics, and have spent the last 20 years in the tree service industry. Think soon here I'm going to retire and send you guys a resume.. I would love to go back out west and assist you guys doing what you do. There's no higher purpose than service to others.. For what it's worth--tall narrow tires are generally best for this, you don't want to float but penetrate to ground/road, floating is for different conditions. They'd done bit easier with narrow tires.
These guys are the best example of good samaritan RUclipsrs. Posting their recovery videos gives them the ability to get paid for what they do regardless of the gig. There's not many people that turn around and just help those that need it. Good people exist,we just usually don't get to hear about what they do.

I've said it in the comments before and I'll say it again. You guys are doing the Lord's work. The empathy and genuine concern your team has for complete strangers is a testament to the type of men you all are. God Bless your whole team. I'm sure the people you all have helped couldn't put into words how grateful they are for you guys. And you all stay humble, only making these videos to express how we should all interact given the situation and the ability.

If only the entire world could do this. If we all cared for each other like we do for our family etc man the world would be amazing. I pay it forward all the time hoping that the people I help out will do the same in return and so on and so forth. Just like the movie hoping it will have an effect and reach a ton of people. But I highly doubt it since 98.5% are selfish and they don’t care about others or what people are going through when we all go through rough spots unless we’re millionaires. But could you imagine how great the world would be!!? All of us helping each other when we need it? No talking down to others, no judging, no racism, no hate or violence etc! @@3523trx450 I like to think more than 1.5% of us do pay it forward in one way or another. Its just that we don't have the platform to share it and the fact the media has no interest in sharing it. There are a lot of great people out there doing kind deeds every second of everyday all across the world. I'd rather us both have a dollar then me have 2. The golden rule is such a simple but outstanding concept. And I don't think having millions of dollars would make my life perfect, A hundred dollar bill never consoled me and heard my pain and dried my eyes like a best friend has. I've been to rehab 7 times and I have had more heartfelt conversations and heart to hearts with people I knew I would never see again. Being optimistic in the face of the world and medias negativity is the key in my personal opinion.

knowing these people is really amazing to hear they got the snowcat out. so many wrecks happen up there. a really bad one in 2019 with my family in it im so thankful that the people i knew very well we’re fine and i just cant even fathom the lost ones in that wreck… it was terrifying.

Exceptional recovery guys. One suggestion that I may make is to get your entire team wireless headsets to use during a recovery like this. It makes communication easier and keeps everyone much safer. Keep the videos coming and I love the fact that you and your team are out helping your fellow members of the community.
We use the headsets 3M Peltor. They are very reliable, rechargeable and have great nice canceling ability. I would suggest getting a pair and trying them before you buy a bunch of them.

Really cool how far you guys have come, and then to turn around and use that success to help others. It’s a great reminder to everyone that the most important thing is to help and serve others.
I've said it in the comments before and I'll say it again. You guys are doing the Lord's work. The empathy and genuine concern your team has for complete strangers is a testament to the type of men you all are. God Bless your whole team. I'm sure the people you all have helped couldn't put into words how grateful they are for you guys. And you all stay humble, only making these videos to express how we should all interact given the situation and the ability.

And then tears streamed down my face. (I've felt a little lost lately.)
If only the entire world could do this. If we all cared for each other like we do for our family etc man the world would be amazing. I pay it forward all the time hoping that the people I help out will do the same in return and so on and so forth. Just like the movie hoping it will have an effect and reach a ton of people. But I highly doubt it since 98.5% are selfish and they don’t care about others or what people are going through when we all go through rough spots unless we’re millionaires. But could you imagine how great the world would be!!? All of us helping each other when we need it? No talking down to others, no judging, no racism, no hate or violence etc! That would be amazing even though it won’t ever happen, we can dream though right 😂

@@3523trx450 I like to think more than 1.5% of us do pay it forward in one way or another. Its just that we don't have the platform to share it and the fact the media has no interest in sharing it. There are a lot of great people out there doing kind deeds every second of everyday all across the world. I'd rather us both have a dollar then me have 2. The golden rule is such a simple but outstanding concept. And I don't think having millions of dollars would make my life perfect, A hundred dollar bill never consoled me and heard my pain and dried my eyes like a best friend has. I've been to rehab 7 times and I have had more heartfelt conversations and heart to hearts with people I knew I would never see again. Being optimistic in the face of the world and medias negativity is the key in my personal opinion.
@@3523trx450 Won't disagree with you on this one. There's too much of crap - and guys like Heavy D - certainly can motivate us working and doing things better for us ourselves - and people around. I will disagree with you, though, on one thing - 98.5 of people aren't stupid. In by book it's right about 50%. And me among those on some occasions - but that's why we are humans.
Always doing gods work for the people. Snow cats are scary, the thumbnail gave me flashbacks to diesel daves scary incident back in the day. Stay safe brothers!
Hats off to Heavy D and the Crew. You set examples of how men that have resources should be living. The most wealthy guys in my area wouldn’t help people with anything. It’s the small struggling business owners like myself that do the most for the people in the area. I appreciate you guys
knowing these people is really amazing to hear they got the snowcat out. so many wrecks happen up there. a really bad one in 2019 with my family in it im so thankful that the people i knew very well we’re fine and i just cant even fathom the lost ones in that wreck… it was terrifying.

I absolutely love videos like this, with the people getting emotional and so thankful for Y’all’s help is the best. This is why I have so much respect for Heavy D and his crew. It shows that there is still good people in this crazy world we live in. I also really enjoy the video and action with the Hey wrecker. That truck is a beast and Heavy D is just the man for it. I don’t think very many people would attempt to go up that mountain in a foot of snow with 60k truck. You will always have a forever a fan!!

Good job gents... Nice attention to detail... Specially the one about not having the rig slide off the road and down the hill... Yankee ingenuity and pure determination to get through the ice with the chain issue and still deliver the snowcat back for repairs without having trashed it along the way... Same goes for gramps who took the ride inside it down the hill... Grams is thankful cause things could have been way worse... Take care folks & Godspeed to everyone...

Exceptional recovery guys. One suggestion that I may make is to get your entire team wireless headsets to use during a recovery like this. It makes communication easier and keeps everyone much safer. Keep the videos coming and I love the fact that you and your team are out helping your fellow members of the community.
We use the headsets 3M Peltor. They are very reliable, rechargeable and have great nice canceling ability. I would suggest getting a pair and trying them before you buy a bunch of them.
