Kids go to these matches all the time, they already heard these chants on a normal Saturday 😂
Frrrrr
I love Brit humour 😂. Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Thing is we have lots of polish in my town and we seriously are the same people from different sides of Europe and our sense of humour mix perfectly some of my best freinds are polish 🇵🇱 🇬🇧
Explanation of the Balalotelli chant. He threw a dart at a dart at a youth player and drove around Manchester handing out cash to people, even paying for a full petrol station full of peoples petrol, amung other things like setting off fireworks in his rented mansions bathroom!
He was on the east lands darts team as well
It was Joey Barton who threw the dart
@@user-pf2rx3mj4e he put a cig out tandys face as well didn’t he?
Best football chant I've heard of is Rangers fans in Scotland to there player Richard Gough who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia "there's only 2 Richard Goughs"
Brilliant, cruel but very funny.
It was Andy Goram, the Rangers goalkeeper. He pulled out of the Scottish squad as he felt he wasn't ' mentally attuned ' and it was reported in the press he had schizophrenia. Richard Gough has a VERY different chant about him 🙁🤨
Mon the gers🔴⚪🔵🏴🏴
Which ones@@annicecooper8105
“ the kiddy family” love it😂
I love it to & I’m from Kidderminster!
(It’s not true though, at least not on my part!)
@@kenny832 same here lol
come on you reds!
It always amazes me how stunned americans are about our european spontaneity - must mean you guys need directions for every step in your lives, the total opposite of freedom. Maybe that's why you all need to keep repeating you're the land of the free, cos it takes endless repetition to believe bs
American cadence also doesn’t suit chanting.
Yes, Joel, football chants are both amusing and cutting across Europe and S America. Whilst living in the US with my, then, two kids, I also found the boys' verbal jousting with both pitchers and batters very humorous. My then 10-yr old even coached his teammates on how to use satire! 😅⚾️+🥍
Do you remember, " hes got a pineapple, on his head?"
A striker who was struggling for Forest i think.
Yes! The player was Jason Lee. He was given a lot of stick on Fantasy Football League back in the 1990s by Frank Skinner and David Baddiel. It started with the chant by Forest fans but then there was footage of some of his “unfortunate finishing”. It became a bit of a weekly feature.
@@hydroanky Jason Lee yes!
That was a great series, all the different fans in the audience in their kits.
Loved it.
Yep was down WFCG when the chants were coming loud !
A plantpot.
@@hydroankyAye Jason Pineapple Lee😅.That show with Baddiel n Skinner was class.

Yes 20 000 empty seats was United calling City out home at Old Trafford, that fills up pretty often.
10:51 for the response 👍
To be honest Old Trafford full to the rafters, you would struggle to find half a dozen proper fans 😂
Wait till you see their away end at etihad this season or the home end vs city this season… or the 7-0 last season… or the home end 4-0 down to Liverpool at HT the season before, take your pick 🤣🤣🤣
@@davidknight6440 And there came the whataboutism.
Buuuuut theeeeeem!🤣😂
You're right about pubs, Joel, but only on special occasions - they have to be careful they don't lose their licences. Many years ago, in a Central London pub on New Year's Eve, for example, it got to the stage, "WE ARE GOING, WE ARE GOING, WE ARE GOING TO THE BOG! WE ARE GOING TO THE BOG!" - all to the tune of "Cwm Rhondda". (It was downstairs, and the queue started upstairs - so it was a bit congested...)!
So close to 100K …I have followed you since 9500… well deserved growth …as you have interesting reactions.
as someone who was taken to football from the age of 6... i grew up around this lmao by the age of 7 i knew every swear word and decent chant under the sun
Perhaps the best comeback in my lifetime,Chelsea 2-0 up at halftime,at home in the fa cup and then Bradford from 2 leagues below scored 4 in second half.unbelievable
I was in the Bradford away end that day.. One of the best days of my life!
Love your reactions. Theyre often on my feed and i never scroll past. Why have i only just subscribed? Sorry my friend . Glad to put that right and support you now. Lets get you to 100k you totally deserve it. 😅
Brilliant as always ❤❤❤

Speaking of only spending a day in Manchester, the chant about Balotelli in Moss Side that is in Manchester. You mentioned how most of the chants are to the same tune, that tunes has been used for decades. It’s the best tune for a football chant!! These chants had me laughing!! I’m also glad you’ve realised that one day in many of the places you visited is not enough to really see anything much at all. Looking forward to you going back to the U.K. and hope you get over to Ireland and it would be nice to see you go with a couple more friends.
I love English 🏴 people they so funny
Didn't you do one of these footie chant reaction vids, last year,Joel, always nice to revisit ! 😉
if you go back to the York radio station when u return
go to a Leeds United home game they have amazing support only 30 mins on train from York !! and the radio station could possibly help u get a ticket in advance !!
7:24 Not the remix of ‘The Addams Family’.
and the tunes are sometimes opera eg is there a fire drill is La Donna es mobile (Women are changeable)
The chant at 4:36 are Manchester United fans singing to Manchester City fans on how they can’t fill their football stadium with fans. 🤣
That game was a sell out. That must be just before full-time or just after half-time or something.
All games against Man Utd r sell outs. @@mana3735
@@mana3735every city games a ‘sell out’ 😂 just a shame the owners try to give the seats away for free to make it look like legitimate sale for extra revenue 115
I think the main difference culturally is that football fans in the UK & Europe see their clubs as an integral part of the community, something that belongs to them. In the US professional sports are franchise product that can be relocated. There's no real community connection for a lot of them.
Getting to go to a main football club game of male players is very difficult to get tickets for, you might have to liaise with someone who is a member of the club and can apply for tickets when they go on sale online and wait in an online queue for them. Also, they aren't cheap, expect to pay anything between £50 and £100 or more per ticket depending on the club and who they are playing. 🙈😅 the women's football however is about £5, you can buy an individual ticket days before and the last one I went to for the Toon Army (Newcastle) women's there were 22,000 fans turned up for the lasses and there were still a few chants due to half the crowd being men still 👍🏼
Great reactions man. One thing you need to know is the home away team difference in Europe. For you it's AWAY at HOME for us it's HOME against AWAY.
It was 20,000 empty seats in the Manchester City away end at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United, who are the biggest supported club in the world
Certainly are boss ggmu
Some of the chants you need to know a story its based on, the 'Baloteli' chant about a wallet full of cash, is refering to him paying for other peoples petrol at a station
I thought it was when the police stopped him and asked him why he had so much cash and he said “because I’m very rich”?😂
haha the chants are definitely very thought out
You need to know some of the back ground to some of these chants.
Also did you notice the tunes?
Adams Family.
Show me the way to go home.
Carmen!!
One of my favourites, was when Man City were in the mix for brilliant AC Milan player, Kaka.
The city fans made a chant. A simple one to the ABBA tune, Knowing me Knowing you....(You know what's coming right?)
"Knowing me knowing you....KA KAaaaaaa..."
City did not sign him, shame.
One other was when Alan Ball was managing City so... Oasis.
"After all, your my Alan Baalll alllll."
Brilliant (I'm Man U fan)
I don't think either of those city chants are good/ would've been good
@@Goady1000 What!
Kaka scores...
Kippax breaks into song..." Knowing me knowing you KA-KAAAAA, There is nothing you can't do..."
@@Goady1000 From memory they sang they sang Wonderwall from the beginning up to the Alan Ball bit.
Away fans usually sing whole way through the game
Mugging off home fans wen goal scoring goes your way or vice versa
The best football chant of all time is what Newcastle fans used to sing to Peter Reid when he was Sunderland manager 😂😂
Well that’s ok … Sunderland have a better one … about Alan Shearer being illegitimate 😂 Americans don’t know what a HEED is 😂… they don’t speak with regional dialects.
It's man united v liverpool are the biggest rivals ever
Many of those were Man U fans at Man C, and at the time were deserved. Things have changed since - a lot!
The Beach Boys' "Sloop John B" probably provides the easiest chant tune @ 11:40.
Whatever team you pick. Find out the area their support is strong. Go there to a pub before the game then travel along with the supporters to the game. Get the full experience.
Get yourself the full experience.
Best one I’ve heard is Darvil juniors Scotland there was people sneaking in so we sung we can see you we can see you we can see you sneaking in
You have to come live in Britain for six months come to a Rangers game in Glasgow they are rivals to Celtic the atmosphere is electric 🎉
I’ve used to go to a lot of matches as a kid, heard chants like this and worse! It’s all a good laugh!
Next time you come to Britain go to a football match there you’ll get the atmosphere 😊
How is park ji sung chant not on there?
Try and find chants to famous songs bro. An example is Edinson Cavanis. The chant is to the tune of "Gimme" by ABBA. Give it give it give to edi cavani... etc
As an English kid, I hear this all the time and it's normal for me when I go to watch football.
I think you should have been a Brit!
You seem to get us. You need to move here! And your club is definitely Liverpool!
If he’s a thief then his clubs Liverpool
Dirty Northern B*st*rds/Soft Southern B*st*rds by Tim Marshall is a good book about English football chants
From the age of 10 to the age of 20 I had a season ticket to Man City on the Kippax. It was such a buzz to be a part of the crowd when the singing started. I would still be at City singing away but I moved to the island continent. The Brits are best at crowd singing..one of the things they are still good at 😂😂😂
Some of those chants refer to specific incidents which have happened with certain players or whatever
The empty seat thing is a myth. The United v City footage that you see is from a game that was a complete sell out...this must have been filmed at the end of the game as people were leaving . It's a trick rival fans do. City have had a higher average home attendance than Liverpool since 2003. Fact. City hold the record for highest ever home attendance, 88,000.
A true test of a club's support is when they're not doing well...City were getting up to 40,000 in the 3rd league.
Actually Tottenham hold that record, plus I think you’ll find even United had an attendance at Maine road of 82000 😂 at city’s home against Arsenal. Shitty city joke of a club good luck with whatever legal stuff it is you have going on by the way hear you have some troubles
@@orryhalsall7451 No they don't .Spurs were at Wembley, not their own ground. City hold the record for a home attendance. But yeah, keep on crying, your salty tears warm the hearts of all REAL Mancs.
Away fans will all sing so can outsing the home team especially when the home team is losing.
you should watch the "we love you freddy" one ngl
That ballotelli chant is a city one
Shitty city 😂 up the reds
its amazing experience at a footie match and in the pub after , the song sung now with the national team is Sweet Caroline, well that is everywhere in football
3:15😂😂😂😂😂
20,000 empty seats was man United fans chanting to the Man City fans not the Liverpool fans
Prefered the 10.20 30 40 50 60 empty Seat chant myself
when i went to watch man city when i was on the tram to the etihad the fans were going mad singing blue moon and then in the stadium the leipzig fans went mad and srt off a flare inside the stadium
When I went to watch man city I said to my old man you’re a c… and went to old trafford instead
The big rivalry isnt Liverlool v Man city... the big rivalry is Liverpool and Man united. Dont get me wrong City is still a rival but nothing compared to united.
Im a huge United fan and we just knocked Liverpool out of the FA Cup. Buzzing ❤
Have to say, on the day you gave me a great match to put Klipperty Klop in his place AND I'm a Forest Red !
You are so adorable
York city FC surely has to be your team?!
Hi man just wanted to say about Liverpool and Manchester actually the biggest rivalry is Liverpool and Manchester United not Liverpool and
Manchester City and the chant 20,000 empty seats is from Manchester United to Manchester City I don’t know if you meant to say that but I was just going to say
The 'fuck off back to London' was by Man City fans mocking their rivals ,Man United's reputation for having a large southern fanbase.
fun fact u have more freedom in a stadium than u do the states😂
No way you just bundled the Manchester Liverpool football rivalry into one. Manchester United rivalry to Liverpool is different gravy to the Manchester City rivalry. City are the new kid with big money on the block, United and Liverpool have been battling since the 50's and the rivalry really heated up in the late 80's when Legend United manager Sir Alex Ferguson said his main objective is to "knock Liverpool off their fucking perch" when he first signed as manager. He went on to win 38 trophies in 26 years including the treble of 99(three trophies in one season, very rare), 2 Champions leagues, 13 Premier Leagues, five FA Cups and four League Cups. Great vid tho bro
Fergie did well in horse racing too & was a high ranking Freemason - after he left, Man U’s ridiculous ref decision tally suddenly plummeted as did their ranking...... hmmm, wonder why
Ok suggestion...St James' Park Newcastle United (the Toon). Just dont go for Toon vs Sunderland (the Makems), not if you value your eardrums!
But if the "Toon" are losing they just might invade the pitch Never forget 1974 !
Don’t wear a T-shirt!
Go for Tottenham Hotspur - they’re the fastest growing PL team in the US! Plus, their chants are on another level!
The let’s pretend COYS 😂
And another great opportunity for it today, spursy as ever!
Man City of course🎉
starts 1:36
Mate you'd be suprised with how many teams we got
Like I'm pretty sure London got like 20
A lot of teams share colours
Theres always one bloke with the guts to go solo n everyone joins in
Make a video on where Football songs come from ,no one does that
You'd think there'd be more of these but it's always the same two or three videos...some of these clips must be at least 10+ years old.
Adding a comment so it’s not 80% bots in the comments section 🙃😂
If you go London you should go Millwall game. The football isn’t the best but I think most people on here would agree with me it’s probably the only club in London that still has that old fashioned english football feel. I recommend Millwall at home to Birmingham, Leeds, Cardiff, Swansea or qpr. We are the most hated football club in England because we ain’t woke! 😂 you will get people on here slagging us (Millwall) off but research to make your own mine up. Another great video✌️
I thought your biggest rivals were the bubble blowers ? Greetings Lions from Forest.
Yup all good, untill some get into brawls and break stuff
That’s the best bir
You should cheer for Liverpool FC. You’ll never walk alone
That’s not even that bad lol .. should watch black country derby wolves v west brom .. atmosphere hits different
Emptyhad😂😂😂
Choose Man City, no probs getting a ticket, you could take your whole family and just turn up on the day!😂 Liverpool, no chance of a ticket
MILLLLLLL
It was Manchester Utd not liverpool.
English fans only need 1 beer
You know ... I've learnt that being a Brighton and Hove Albion supporter (at the most exciting time to be a fan in our entire history) ... Is that nobody hates us (Except Crystal Palace fans ... who obviously don't count) ... Tee hee hee 😝
Funniest chant I ever heard? ... "When you're sat in row zed, and the ball hits your head, That's Zamora!" (Bobby Zamora being Brighton's striker at the time)
That's cos nobody else cares about you.
6:10 in. It says Everton beat Hull City 4-0. Wasn't Man City v Man Utd lol
he didnt say it was utd vs city?
Ah the accent threw me off. So hard to understand Americans
@@colinsizer8471 lol

Liverpool vs man citeh is not a rivalry, maybe for 115fc but not liverpool. Liverpool vs united or everton is a rivalry
Come to Liverpool! React to YNWA, genuinely gives you goosebumps! :)

Go to Liverpool youll defo wanna go to a Liverpool game pal YNWA96 🔥🔥
YNWA before the match starts then one of the worst atmospheres in the PL for 90 minutes. don't fall ror the Liverpool myth
Leeds United have the best fans. MOT
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF TOTTENHAM
think man united have played in the dark for the last 10 years
Man city stadium is boss
That's why they're planning to knock it down and start again
Should get ya self over ere pal. Go 2 a few Derbys mate. Few beers in Pub Laughin 👍
U r confusing man utd w man city mate. there are never any empty seats at man utd (the ground where lots of ur chants were recorded.) There are always 20K at City as they r a made up team - bought out by the sheikh of abu dhabi c 2007, pumped w money, constant winners since alex ferguson (manager of man utd) retired in 2013 and under investigated for 115 counts of fraud for the last 5 years: money slows justice. obv I'm just "bitter" because we haven't won much since then.
It’s normal 😂
British football fans don’t do political stuff. If they want to bring you down, they use humour. It’s more effective.
If you're looking for a tram tk watch, watch Charlton under Nathan Jones 😂
Won't be disappointed
Man U fans became a bit quiet during our successful years. The away fans always took the piss, I think we were too busy watching!
As a Chelsea lifelong fan, do yourself a favour and don’t gravitate towards them 😂 I’m sure you must have a fan who supports Liverpool so you can get to one of their home games, best atmosphere and especially big games like against Man U
best off just searching leeds united fans mate no other fans in england compare to them
man city has the best atmosphere in England
