My honeybees are doing the exact same thing I love watching them fly into the zucchini plants take the pollen off the flowers and fly away. It just thrills me. And knowing that your garden is going to do great takes a lot of pressure off of you in life.
We get amazing crops of strawberry and Raspberries.

Good stuff! I suspect there are alot of beekeepers who also have a garden. Always nice to see good food growing strong while talking about bees. Can't go wrong.

You can eat sweet potato leaves like steamed spinach.
Well I plant corn,potatoes, tomatoes, green beans, lima beans ,peppers have blue berries pears and peach trees and my bees are nowhere on them
. All within 350 feet of hives.
That's interesting, I live in up-state NY and our bees won't touch a blueberry bush. We have a huge blueberry patch out on a local powerline and NO honeybees ever on any of them. About a mile from my hives. Only bumble bees on the blueberries. I belong to a local beekeeping club and our president was talking about this very subject last month. He has several large high bush blueberry bushes in his yard and has never seen a honeybee on them....ever. He says just bumblebees there too. I'll bring this up at our next meeting. Do you have any info of why this is?
They require a buzz pollinator like tomatoes plants. The bumble bee lands on the flower and vibrates making the pollen fall off the flower and stick to the bee. I never see my honeybees on my blueberry bushes either. Meanwhile honeybees are all over the raspberries and blackberries.

My bees go somewhere else. I can't see a bee in my fruit trees. They have better stuff around.

Bees do not pollinate many things....corn, grapes etc... Corn is just free pollen. Corn = maize, it has both and female and male parts on the plant. Read Scientific American or read about Indians and their gardening practices. Blueberries are another plant that physically a honey bee are unable to pollenate. There is a BIG difference between Social Bees and Solitary Bees.
Honeybees can indeed POLLINATE Blueberries. Maybe read something else beside Scientific American.
@@beguileme8201 nope...wrong answer. I have bees, AND a blueberry patch of 80 plants. Pollination of those plants by a honey bee is physically impossible. Also, the "honey bee" is not native to the United States... you still need to read the periodical lol
