  • Hey guys here is another mining guide back on deep core, my first one started off my channel so I have made another this time better and also more up to date. Anyway hope you like it and lets go for 1k subs by the end of the year.

    Thanks for the video!
I don't know if you can actually do $100 M / hour. Certainly not if you count the time to search out locations, not to mention finding the right asteroids.
I'm new to mining but boom mining missions make me way more credits than trying to sell them. Void opals, Low T Diamond sells under $300 K / ton in Horizons. You do the math.

    Good Stuff:
All the basics are there. Thank you for that. You have a nice voice and you know what you are talking about.
Highly Opinionated Nitpicky Stuff (Do take with a grain of salt. After all, I didn't make a whole mining video, I just watched yours):
Title = Clickbait. At the end of the video you say "Well, maybe not 100 mil per hour...maybe 50-70 mil". WTF? Just say that in the title then!
Music = Grating, Repetitive, Unnecessary, Too Loud.
Editing = This video should be 10 minutes long.
    Cursor Wiggling = Please stop!
You have a bright future as a RUclips star. Go get 'em tiger!

it is because all the video you saw it is out of dated, mining is not longer profit! you will spend 6 8 hour with luck and do nt get cough by pirates you can make 6K maybe 8K lmao

@@Nirond literally just tried using this guide as my second run (ever) in core mining and made 20m in an hour and 30 minutes. So idk if this is THAT outdated. There is also a reddit post online that describes the current state of core mining. Supposedly laser mining is the true money maker now, but core mining still yeilds profits. At the time of this post my 45x Void Opals sold for 452,521 credits.

@@Nirond Dude, I just made 20 million laser mining platinum. That's laser mining. Core mining takes a bit more time to find cores, but nets more per core, and they're more profitable than most laser mined stuff. Plenty of space cash to be made mining.

You cant really say you make 100 million an hour because you need to sell this stuff at different locations and you dont pick up the same amount every timebesides the fact mining is incredibly boring and combat makes the same kind of money with robigo passanger missions being best for money because its risk free so i dont see the point in going mining at all

Except for the satisfaction of seeing an asteroid exploding, I don't know why would anyone want to do core mining. As you can see in the video, the explosion yielded about 10 fragments. In my opinion, and based on my experience, subsurface mining is far more efficient and rewarding. First, you don't have to look for those specially shaped asteroids. Just spot the brightest yellow ones. Then, even if you find one with a core, its core might be a cheap mineral. When I'm out mining right now for tritium as my fleet carrier is far out in the black, I'm mostly looking for asteroids that have 3 or 4 subsurface spots. The reason is that with one subsurface spot, you can shot and extract fragments maybe 4 or 5 times. Second, each shot you get will yield at least 2 but mostly 3 fragments. So, assuming you find an asteroid with 4 subsurface spots, which is not uncommon, you can easily get 30 to 40 fragments, which will result easily in 30 tons or more of the mineral you're looking for: 4 subsurface spots X 4 shots each X 3 fragments for each shot = 48 fragments, on average, for easily 30 tons or more of mineral. Just my $0.02...

I'm a noob, but it seems like core mining is best for new players like me. Our ships can't haul much, so we need to target the highest value/ton and core mining accomplishes that. Yeah, looking for the asteroids gets old. I can get half an hour with out finding one some times.

I can't lie the first thing I did was make it so I could do all three forms of mining, starting from lazer and then subsurface of course, so now I just search for the brightest, if it's got anything good I can grab it, but I agree the core mining is a bit too tedious, more of an add on to the other forms of mining imo

Presentation very poor. Basically, you say 'basically' every few seconds, which is basically very annoying...basically.
