the thing about being in the music business, is that its always so humbling(sorry for the spelling), this is the way to run a horn section. and to watch this is so inspiring but humiliating at the same time to think that my chosen profession is so difficult to assume and attain. i or one can only hope to bring to his own community some of the artistic inventions these guys have achieved.
Amazing! Very tight in dynamics (one doesn't usually hear that directly) and attacks. Could tighten up the releases in the head. All is forgiven, of course, with the layered ostinati and SHEER SOUL from these guys!
WTF. This is the sloppiest I've ever heard these guys get. I didn't think this was possible. There probably isn't a tighter horn section on the planet but you wouldn't know it from this. And intonation, you guys sound like y'all just met five minutes ago.
