I'm glad you are aware of and appreciate functional/integrative medicine. Good on ya... I have been looking for a product like this for a while. Always used JG soil products for my humates along with the Milo and Ringer. Then the more concentrated/expensive humates/fulvic acids etc for vegetable garden but couldn't find something as comprehensive and cost effective for turf. I love the soil biology aspect of management. Thank you for making this available to the homeowner. Cheers.

Urea formaldehyde, a so-called synthetic organic, is great stuff if all you need is nitrogen. Its nitrogen content release is dictated by soil microbial activity, which in turn is dictated by soil moisture and temperature, and it just so happens that conditions that are good for microbes are also right in the optimal range for plant growth.

Allen, I watched your last year fall lawn to do's. In less then a month I am having 3-4 large trucks coming in with topsoil to even my front yard that has a slope. I have 3 acres and mow it between a self-propelled bagger and a rider. I thought about using zoysia grass seed or Kentucky blue or rye. I really like having the brown grass in the winter, helps with soil?? I also will be taking down some trees so the front will be getting more sun, Instead of 20 trees, oak, hickory, sweet gum, there will be 10 and maybe fewer worries about tornados. What do I do with new soil? Should I kill off the old grass that is sparse? Do I add furt to the new soil? Thanks, Foxie's Mom

I just ordered the “bio-stimulant pack” today (4/27/18). I’ve already did my early spring application of starter fertilizer and pre-emergent. I’m about to do my second spring treatment of milo and pre-emergent. I’ll probably do that the first weekend in May. My bio-stimulant should be here May 1st. My question is when and what should apply out of the bio-stimulant pack. Should I wait to apply after the milo and pre-emergent, or do it after. I’m new to this any help from you would be great. Also I have cool grass and I’m in Northern VA. Thanks

Allyn, I have a very important question. Up in the north I am eagerly awaiting to apply the chemicals. I have received my order from domyown and we got plenty! I was wondering if I could apply my granular pre-emergent, some milorganite, and some seed all within a week period. Then could a wait another week and start spraying my liquid apps like herbs? This may seem a little overkill but I want to dominate. If anyone else has any opinion, I would like some input. Thanks!

The Green Effect works well as it provides 6% iron. It's great in the summer months with cool season grasses as it keeps the grass green without having to use fertilizers. I'm also planning to use it deep into late fall months to see how long it keeps the lawn green into the winter months. I'm not sold on the Air8 or Dethatch products as I've yet to seen any testing that proves they work, however, if there's ever any testing that shows it works and is a replacement for aerating or dethatching then it will be a game changer. I'll sit on the sidelines with those 2 products for now though.

I've been watching your channels for a few years now and even eMail you to my friends. Your Holloween episode was classic and quite classy. My friends loved it. I tried my friend's Honda mower a few years ago when helping him out one day and noticed something that some others on your channel had mentioned. That being that it sometimes clumps under the front wheel on the left side of the operator. I was wondering if you'd noticed it happening on your more recent example. I have a Toro Super Recycler but I was wondering what you thought about a 22" cordless reel commercial reel mower like a Toro or a Jacobsen.
