    The Red Magic phones would be great if they weren't literally obsolete by the time the next phone comes out. Every time I see a post on the red magic Instagram page, it's always about the lack of OS upgrades and customer support. I also know people often complain about some of the text not translating right now in some of the menus. But if that all was squashed they'd be pretty compelling I'd say.

I previously used a samsung s8 and the camera quality on that phone was enough for me so coming from that phone to this one is an upgrade but I bought this phone for the flagship gaming performance. If you love taking pictures and videos, I'd skip this phone because it's not really made for those two in mind. Don't get me wrong they are both descent on this phone but again, this is a top tier gaming phone first. It depends what you're looking for really. The Red Magic 7 Pro is out now so you could get that phone, it's pretty much top of the line, even compared to the new samsung and iphone flagships BUT If you want amazing camera quality, you'll want an iphone or samsung phone for sure (You could also game on those). I am a red magic 6 owner for a year, switching from Samsung. I wouldn't ever recommend nubia ever again. They barely update their OS and you can not customise your phone whatsoever. You are stuck with the preloaded screen savers and wallpapers. For gaming it is ok and the cooling is great but I would recommend the black shark for better user experience. That is really cool! Without you I would have no idea this stuff exist. I continue cruising with my S21 Galaxy. My gaming is limited to SPACE ENGINE that requires Windows 7 and struggles no my 8 year old ZOTAC ZOTAC ZBOX. If you can point out competitive Android Games to SPACE ENGINE I would be very interested.

    Does that Red magick 7 and 8 pro have liquid cooling besides the fan? So the long term heavy gaming doesn’t over heat the phone?

  • @tibora13
    @tibora13 2 года назад

    I wonder how performance would fair if you put Air Duster in the cooling chamber while playing games like Tacticool on the Red Magic 7🤔💭💡
    Sounds cool but risky MAYBE🤑😬🤷🏿

    It really is such a shame, this company makes super premium feeling hardware but they don't give it any software support beyond about 6 months. I purchased the red magic 6 last year and I love it, but you can pretty much guarantee that now that they've released two other phones it won't see a lick of software support. I am still running on the October security patch and now we are in February of 2022

    I don't really play mobile games since most of them are free to play trash that are basically vehicles for in app purchases. Gaming phone for $799 or Switch Lite for $199 with way better games that are primarily buy once and you get to play the whole game without ads or in app purchases (except maybe a DLC)? Yeah imma stick with my Switch.
