The best mindset you can have imo is that you can always improve/learn. It doesn't matter if you're starting to play a game or have been playing it for over 1000 hours you can always learn something new about it. If someone learns at least one new thing from one of my videos it's a win for me.

Literally impossible to deal with solo, it's incredibly frustrating. They seriously need to make the AI WAY more effective against enemies like that, and what's baffling is the AI always has relic tier weapons but they apparently do vanilla bolter damage . . .
Few quick tips: 1. You dont use pommel smash nearly enough to warrant the 50% damage increase to it, and the attack itself is at best just an opener. Swap that perk out for the second perpetual strength to increase the damage of all your melee attacks by 5%. 2. You have seismic chain equipped, but you dont seem to ever use the ground slam even once in a combo, let alone twice. A pommel smash, ground slam, ground slam combo or a pommel smash, ground slam, aftershock combo will keep a majoris enemy staggered until death or almost dead 3. You have the perk on to increase the damage of your jetpack slam when fully charged, but you never fully charged it once in the video. At that point put on the perk that increases your jetpack slam damage after an execution, it works better with your playstyle. 4. Last but certainly not least, you use a lot of bullets mag dumping on Majoris enemies in situations where its not needed. (EX: all enemies being melee majoris // having just one majoris enemy and they arent even enraged // shooting the melee majoris next to you instead of the ranged majoris shooting from afar) Bullets should be used on ranged majoris that are difficult to get to for melee without taking much if any damage. Bullets should be used on enraged RANGED majoris, not melee majoris. Bullets should be used on enemies calling in reinforcements. Bullets should be used on ranged gaunts shooting from afar. Bullets should be used on extremis and terminus enemies. You already use bullets to get contested health back, so nothing needs to be said there. This generally keeps me full on ammo, and thus full on health, when the AI director throws Massive wave, extremis spawn, and another massive wave my way. Nothing sucks more than taking damage and not being able to heal it properly because melee heals little to no contested health. Besides that you play pretty well.

@@CommanderLongJohn was more refering to the balance of melee weapons in the game they're just not very good but tbh the game doesn't encourage melee very much ranged weapons are better 99% of the time plus most of the charge attacks in the game are legit useless out side of 1 maybe 2 scenarios so most of the time you're just spamming light attacks which to me personally is not very fun parrying is about the only part of the melee combat I find satisfying
@zambittt With the hammer, sure, they really need to add more moves for it too. But the chainsword and power fist have a ton of different combos, and the power sword has decent variety if you know how to use it good. When it comes down to it, every game is going to come down to 'spamming attacks,' that's what I don't get about people saying that sort of thing. With the parrying and gunstrike and combos, plus the assaults and vanguard's ability and bulwark's shield, I find it a lot better and satisfying than most other games melee combat. And I say that as someone who uses the hammer and sword mainly.
Wasn't a parry that attack was a projectile and it went through me or spawned behind me where it didn't hit idk either way I didn't parry it just a random bug that happened

Man Spacemarine. I havent played it but it looks like an absolute success.
Few quick tips:
