I really did not expect to be able to watch a four hour video in one sitting but this one I managed to do that, and it was really good all the way through
Just amazing. I binged your 100 Day-Ark videos and was very happy to see you play this. Greeting from Germany =) I hope y'all end up continuing the saga in Iceborn, there is much more to see and some freaky monsters and some really hard fights. Love y'all Both Bowguns rely on the ammunition that you use. You actually have to switch the ammunition (bottom right corner). The 1-Dmg is the base ammunition, the "I have no ammo but shoot anyway" kind of stuff. It's a lot of micromanaging because 1. crafting is annoying with all the plant parts and 2. some ammunition is better on the head then others. So don't worry, it's not the most intuitive system. And Behemoth... is a giant frigging pain in the butt. It's a lot of learning his attacks and placing the tornados at the edge of the arena, superman-diving his thunderbolt and actually running when you have the enmity, just running and dodging and diving until he stops and then repeat. The crossover event want you to play Tank-Heal-DPS, the holy trinity.
Your idea of using a gun to gain enmity and kite around actually had a lot of merit and was my role back when Behemoth was new, although making it work properly would require a lot of Tempered farming that isn't really worth doing anymore now that Iceborne exists. Multi-hit spread shot gains enmity very fast, and a Heavy Bowgun can have a shield added to it. Guard 5, Guard Up (as a decoration instead of requiring Uragaan pieces), and Evade Extender give you the tools to keep emnity and survive, although even then it is far from simple to execute.
I like how each person has a different censor sound, Alpha has a like walkie talkie sound, pixel has like a digital computery-ish sound and crow has a, you guessed it, a crow.
God you guys need to clear Iceborne and slay the big bad endgame black dragons. Seeing newbies overcome the hardest challenges to become masters in their first Monster Hunter game felt satisfying, it's like a hero arc.
Tips for any future video/playthrough. eat, eat, eat. Make sure every time before you go out on a hunt or expedition you eat at the canteen, It greatly boosts your stamina and health and gives you bonuses, sometimes attack, sometimes defense, sometimes elemental. Also pack mega potions and ancient/max potions. Max potions increase your health and stamina to max without the need to eat at a canteen but don't provide bonuses. on top if you are trying to hunt one specific monster and you/it keep getting jumped, remember to use dungpods, they force whatever monster hit by it to run to a different area.
This was so enjoyable to watch! Honestly it makes me miss playing MHW/I. Hope you guys do 100 days of Iceborne! I love that you guys capture majority of the monsters, I always felt bad killing them, so this makes me happy. Cheers, and Happy Hunting! "We need to save the great Girros!" and " everyone and their mothers are in this fight!" was a hilarious section of this video.

I really hope you play more. Watching you guys got me to come back to the game. I put almost 3000 hours the first time. Let's see what I do this time lol.
Every time a monster has the "yellow eye" on the minimap, it means you can yeet it into a wall for a free stun (not possible when enraged - red eye), which is free damage. You guys been doing this way too little. Also please watch a guide for the charge blade, you very rarely charge it and it hurts me so much to see it. CB being my most played weapon.. It has such an awesome attack when charged and full vials! Really enjoyed this video though, watched the full thing and waiting for iceborne, since that expansion was as good if not better than the base game!

We need more 100 days in monster hunter games, but like 100 days in the Coral Highlands, then the same for the Ancient Forest and so on, with armor and weapons from monsters that only spear in that area to make it more interesting.

He meets the palicos and the other cat tribes (can't spell their names for the life of me) and with his palicos help they get the help of the ones he has befriended to get him recourses that they logically can get for him. The goal in all these 100 days runs will be to get a armor and weapon strong enough to hunt either an elder or strongest large monster on a given map stopping you from making it to the commission's two bases in base World or Iceborn. Another goal is attempting to study all the monsters that can show up on the map to 100 completion in those 100 days, with his team members doing the same on other maps at the same time to see who douse it the fastest, winner gets who knows what. This video had me remembering the time where I first bought MH:World and met a bunch of people that would become friends. Had me rethinking that I should make a new character and start from the beginning all the way to Iceborne. Great video hoping for a part 2 for the Iceborne expansion.
Solo is easier in most cases it seems. Ik the base game isn't that hard especially compared to iceborne but I've solo'd the whole thing and only lost like 3 times and one of them was when some random guy 5 ranks higher than me joined me in a black diablos fight and used up all the carts.
This is a delightful video! I have been absolutely craving the viewpoints of new Monster Hunter players and this has filled that need for me! I LOVED hearing you talk about the monsters from your nearly-blind perspectives, like the collective panic when the Diablos jumped up from the sinkhole suddenly. At first I felt a little frustrated because you weren't using one of the main mechanics of the charge blade (Charging your shield to power up your axe swings and damage capabilities), but then I saw at 55:24 that you actually did charge up your shield! Knowing that your play style was a choice of resource allotment rather than complete ignorance made me feel a lot better about watching along. You've been playing remarkably well for new players! Well done! I would, however, recommend that as a Charge Blade user you practice how to power up your shield and sword. It will increase the damage of your axe swings and your Elemental Discharges. Additionally (but optionally) There's a special type of block that your weapon has that can reduce the knockback of enemy attacks called a Guard Point. I'll keep the explanation brief, but when you're morphing your weapon into axe mode, the shield remains in front of you for a small section during the animation. If the enemy hits you during that point you will perform a Guard Point, take less knockback, and be able to instantly respond with instantly respond with an axe swing or an Elemental Discharge if you input that command. Give it a try sometime, and happy hunting! I'll be awaiting your next monster hunter video with baited breath! (Guard points exist in several other points in the Charge Blade moveset, but the other important one is when you hold your shield in front of yourself after morphing the weapon back into sword and shield mode.)
This and your iceborne video are videos i come back to again and again when i need something to listen to. Thank you so much for your incredible work with Alpha, Pixel and later, Space Goat!
I hope you make more 100 days videos where you and your friends use different weapons or even play styles to make the videos not repeats of this one entirely it's so fun watching you play this game

Y’all played the game the hardest way possible lol. Monsters have a heath pool for 1, 2 and 4 people. When you’re playing with 3 you’re fighting monsters buffed for a 4 person squad and don’t even get a palico to fill that last slot sadly.
This was an enjoyable watch. I'm glad that universally we all agree that Dodogama is a adorable monster.
I want to be part of the 20 minute Laughing Murder.
💀💀💀💀
Same
Me too
The Coral Highgrounds? Obi Wan would surely like this Placebo 😂😂
that BG must've been terrified when Crow yelled, "WAKEY WAKEY" after bombing their skull in
if you liked the base game i definitely suggest getting ice borne,it adds So much new content and monsters and just adds to the fun. 100% worth it imo
oh I absolutely love this game!! I've spent countless hours just wandering around the maos observing different monsters, the maps are so damn beautifull and the way the monsters are placed and use the maps is so freaking awesome.. seeing this in my recommended made me legit happy so thank you!! It's awesome to see you guys had fun with this!!
The amount of hours i spent here with my hunting buddy is one of the best memories of gaming. Its always nice to see people trying it out. Shout out to my hunting horrn brothers and sisters out there!
Fun fact Diablos is an Herbivore, a cactus eater specifically. It's just super aggressive and territorial.
They should try and get the Temporal Mantle to help with the fight. It helps by auto dodgeing for you. You get it by defeating Lunastra and Teostra a second time, then talking to huntsman! Hope this helps!!!
My man finished MHW using Charge Blade without charging the blade even once hahahah, i hope you do the Iceborne DLC
U guys are absolutely hilarious! This was the most fun ive had watching a playthrough
I've been playing these games since I was little, glad you guys enjoyed it so much and I hope to see iceborne in the future!
Even when I had master rank armor I was super focused on this behemoth fight
The three dinks off barroths head was the funniest stuff to me. So persistent 😂
best 100 days youtuber change my mind
aw thank you so much :D
I said to change my mind
I really did not expect to be able to watch a four hour video in one sitting but this one I managed to do that, and it was really good all the way through
Just amazing. I binged your 100 Day-Ark videos and was very happy to see you play this. Greeting from Germany =)
I hope y'all end up continuing the saga in Iceborn, there is much more to see and some freaky monsters and some really hard fights. Love y'all
Both Bowguns rely on the ammunition that you use.
Alpha became the make a wish spider man 😂😂
This is the best day of my life.
God you guys need to clear Iceborne and slay the big bad endgame black dragons.
Seeing newbies overcome the hardest challenges to become masters in their first Monster Hunter game felt satisfying, it's like a hero arc.
2:14:56 "Ja nee, Junge, wart mal!" ... Maybe i spat some lemonade on my monitor, it was sooo unexpected :D
Found you just recently, love your content!
Crow I never knew this game existed but then I saw this vid now I bought it it's an amazing game and your an amazing youtuber
i had nearly 3000 hours in this game and this was so fun to watch
The Pickle is tough, but the Chimoy Pickle is just rude af 😒😂
Me beating both main game and iceborne story: you are going to have "fun"
We for sure had our fair share of getting absolutely torn to pieces XD
I'm a longsword player and iceborne is more tougher
Also you can do the super discharge with charge blade and a lot of other stuff
@@Crowmedaand you know layered armour exists
Palomue is my favorite monster so it's good to see someone agree with me
This was so enjoyable to watch!
You had a great run at this 100 days and i will be waiting for the iceborn version (if you can do it in 100days it be impresive (spoiler its hard)) and if you need help to discover hidden and powerfull charge blade features just come in contact
I really hope you play more. Watching you guys got me to come back to the game. I put almost 3000 hours the first time. Let's see what I do this time lol.
gonna be real I love this video. In a weird way this is like seeing a lowly set of hunters slowly turn into heroes, I love it.
You're doing a million dollar job. Keep it up. This is the way
Every time a monster has the "yellow eye" on the minimap, it means you can yeet it into a wall for a free stun (not possible when enraged - red eye), which is free damage.
I know this may be too time consuming but, I hope that you do Iceborne too!! your narration and commentary are really nice and pleasant to listen to! I really really enjoyed watching this! Also please tell me you listened to the themes and the music of this game, it's some of the best music in the industry!
my fave part in this video is hands down when alpha says "No" when you say its annoying to fight anything that flys i laugh every time XD
As a bilingual Spanish speaker. 3:18:18 was glorious
I know bru
59:58 for the louisiana or however it is callled.
- Alpha
We need more 100 days in monster hunter games, but like 100 days in the Coral Highlands, then the same for the Ancient Forest and so on, with armor and weapons from monsters that only spear in that area to make it more interesting.
The biggest hurdle would be when you get to armor and weapons that require parts from monsters not in that zone.
@@Reapor234 that is why befriending the palico's will be integral.
Just ideas, but please, everyone pitch in, this man needs to do more Monster Hunter related ideas if you please! 😁
This vid got me back into monster hunter and I've been having so much fun.
Watching all your attacks rebound on barroth made my day
Do icebourne now 100 days
I'm actually going to watch the entire video just to see at what point he realises how to use charge blade correctly 💀😭
When does he charges his shield and sword? I started to watch the video too and it's basically triggering me that he never charge his weapon. Why we call it CHARGE BLADE if we never charging it? 😕
Pls iceborne
50:18 ''welcome to the all new crowmedia show! today crowmedia will be singing, please injoy!''
I Love how you can hear either Alpha or Pixel in the background sometimes just dropping their English and start talking in German. Makes me feel a bit more home xD
Plz do iceborn
Is it just me or does someone of them speeks German some times
This video had me remembering the time where I first bought MH:World and met a bunch of people that would become friends. Had me rethinking that I should make a new character and start from the beginning all the way to Iceborne. Great video hoping for a part 2 for the Iceborne expansion.
I love how while crow and pixel are struggling againts diablos, alphajor soloes a rathalos and 3 beezelgeus.
Solo is easier in most cases it seems. Ik the base game isn't that hard especially compared to iceborne but I've solo'd the whole thing and only lost like 3 times and one of them was when some random guy 5 ranks higher than me joined me in a black diablos fight and used up all the carts.
You think I’m gonna watch a 100 days monster hunter 5 hour long video 5 times well you are actually right
(I actually watched this 5 times)
10:43 i love how he found like the pikachu of monster hunter and he didn't not know what it is
This is a delightful video!
Dude yapped for 3:44:46 and I respect it! Major props man, I have no idea how you stayed enthusiastic throughout and consistent.
The editing in this vid is fenomenal. It makes every seem so powerfull.❤
Props to crow using the light bowgun, as a heavy bowgun/bow main myself, I can understand not feeling like you're doing damage
Alphajor's "Hija de la gran..." It's a universal response to dealing with Madame Lunastra for the first time 😂
great video, I do wish you had rotated weapons a bit since, as a longsword main myself, I would have loved to see some longsword action.
Just found this channel, cant wait for iceborne
I’ve watched this video like 11 times your voice makes it so enjoyable
