I remember seeing you working with recruits in the middle of the night to help them with their PFT, which left me a lasting impression on how to be a leader. I still feel guilty for fucking up the final knowledge test, I should've been hazed for it but it never happened.

I graduated February 24 2017 from 3rd battalion Lima company platoon 3009 SSGT Olivera was my senior drill instructor for the first half of the cycle and then got moved to kilo company as a chief drill instructor from then on my senior was SSGT Seabol
When i was in i was talking to this other recruit in a different platoon and he said his SDI forgot part of his speech and the other DI had to tell him 😂💀
March 4, 2016 is when I graduated. 3rd Battalion, L Company, Plt. 3020, Follow series. Senior was SSGT Carillo, Heavy was SSGT Jones, and 3rd was SGT Polite.
Steve Coronado, it ended with a 3 hat team and was actually nicer that way. Done my fair share with 3 hat teams and even a one man show for about 2 weeks at one point.
My son was in charlie company and graduated from parris Island in December of 2013. He was honorably discharged in October of 2017 as a full corporal. They offered him an extra stripe to reenlist. He declined.

No, it's not something new. It really just depends on the number of personnel in the company. Some cycles there were as many as five. Other cycles there were only three. This one started with five but ended with only three.

He may have been your SDI, but I can assure you it wasn't before this platoon. This platoon graduated July 8th, 2016.
