I LOVE how you pronounce Ducats. It sounds like Dackels. "Now you see, this province has 10.5 Dackels!!!" "300 Dackels just from raiding these few provinces!" Killing me every time, please never change!
Don't remember the Gotland naval doctrines, but it would probably stack really nice with the Gotland gameplay. I have on my list to play as Gotland and take over all the islands and only Islands and raid the whole world 😁
If you flip to tier 1 maghrebi culture reform and erase the mamluks, you can reform the mamluks without changing religion. Now imagine forming mamluks as catholic HRE emperor
You started with 302 ducants in january, and ended in April meaning that was 3 months worth of Income as well. So you gained about 200ish ducants lets say, which is still ok I guess
@@thestudentYT I wonder about the effect/cost ratio. It's once every 10 years and you have to conquer and change the culture.... Interesting, although maybe not the most practical. Thanks.
@@robertkowalczyk1480 Well, to to begin with, simply keeping your primary culture for the culture union once you become an empire, there is the Spanish/Portuguese/French/British special units that are tied to culture I think. To be fair this can be pretty good early game as an Italian because you can make lots of money off of it and you don't have much Dev so not too much unstating required, but for France, Aragon, Castille, etc... unstating 1/2 of your country would not be worth it just to get 1K ducats every 5 ? years
*takes off pope hat*
*puts on pirate hat*
TheStudent more like TheTeacher
Totally historical Tunisian Papa
*Alternative US marine corps anthem be like: "... to the shores of umbria ..."*
This shit is gonna be my new favourite strat in EU4! Its fascinating how I never thought you can do that
also I know what you are
"What" I am??
Now I know what culture to make all my custom nations. I was doing british culture group for wooden wall, but raid coasts is just so OP.

Finally something which i know and use. I am proud of myself.
Do you have to keep the culture to keep the docrine, or could you change the culture again after you took the doctrine?
You have to keep the culture
@@thestudentYTso no forming the mughals afterwards?
You could form the Mughals and change your culture back again with some events... but not as the Pope anyways
He's done it again.
Well well well, let's find out
so this basically screams for orthodox pirates ^^
They are going to pay thier tihes, willingly or not!
Mashallah
Papal raiders
I hate how you have to manually raid coasts instead of automazing

Is it Algeria?
Ahhhh it's the naval doctrine! Clever.

I hd only an income of like +6 ducats... not really relevant right?
@@thestudentYT True, it's only 1470 after all
