@@ratwithglasses1495 lambda basically turned his campaign into the turn-based strategy, where each in-game day was a separate turn so he could have more precise control over the country, also he used far more save scummings and exploits thus using the maximum potential of eu4 with zero RNG
@@ratwithglasses1495 Probably he would make it in the 1460s if he tried but I think that it couldn't be done with that strategy because on that WC it was everything built around the HRE which means that you cannot form the Roman Empire anymore
Lambda’s world conquest has huge categories of exploits that just aren’t used here. Most of them have actually been patched. One of them was when you attack someone if you quit the game fast enough their allies weren’t called. @thestudent, are you making the save available on patreon or somewhere? I’d love to have a crack at saving it!
-47 diplomatic reputation, about 100 unrest in every province, exhausted of war to the limit, overextended to impossible to fix level, army 5 times bigger than you can maintain, almost bankrupt and finally hated by all the known world. Seeing historically accurate Roman Empire is always welcomed.

After all that is good it should be very easy reconquest wars

"So the War of the Roses was an important time of political maneuvering which ended with the coronation of William III who conquered the Holy Land. This of course led to a struggle between the clergy and the king and ultimately the Hussite practitioners took control of the empire under the guidance William IV, which also saw the return of the Plantagenets to power, and then the Great Hussite Crusade began which re-unified the ancient Roman Empire as an anti-catholic crusader state."
Interesting run -- I haven't seen much modern EU4 in action, so it was nice to see how broken reform farming actually is. Congrats on the WR. Makes me a bit more interested in playing EU4 seriously again...
I love the Student's long plays. For some reason they are much easier to follow. I just wish he had more of them - even unedited streams would be appreciated.
Came back from work 1h ago, friday night, just started a cold one alone to chill and a video from you in what I was interested in. You made my evening bro, good luck with everything and as we say in Poland: for your health!
Amazing video und herzlichen Glückwunsch an die 10k Follower. My guess of the time was quite wrong, but I didn't expect you to form Jerusalem to became a Theocracy. That did speed things up quite a bit
Watching you fully-annex the Ottomans in a single war was an actual flashbang. Least insane EU4 player. Phenomenal job, I'm happy enough when I just consolidate Italy but this is on an entirely different level. Great video.
Bro you must show how you stabilize the Empire! I am sure it looks fun! Btw, impressive that even combining all those provinces, Ming is still 1/4 of your development. I mean, it's quite lower, but still, remarkable.
Even though the nation is ruined (historically accurate), can easily release some nations, declare bankruptcy, give in to rebels etc to restore stability. From then you are Rome, and can just enjoy the game.
Honestly almost thought release byzantium from otto would have been the number one way. As i am not nearly as good as you i thought of my best game starting as otto realeasing byzantium i took all the east plus northern africa, italy and iberia. So i imagine that you could make it even better since mine was still stable. But honestly 29 years man thats incredible. Pls send to zlewikk for saving or try it yourself would also be fun
@@exoticBaddalreform farm and tag switching. But that was besides the point. He doesn’t compete against content creators who just play the game normally like Redhawk or Laith. He is more competing against Playmaker, or Lemoncake who showcase strategy and exploits.
I played an unmodded England game and it started me with no t1 reform and enough progress to get 2 reforms (t1 and 2) so I had an elective monarchy start as England allowing me to bypass the annexation parliament issue for France
Is it even possible to deal with the rebels without losing a single province? Seems so impossbily hard but to someone like you I am sure there are ways about it. I didn't understand half of the video anyway as I am a beginner with 300 hours. Still, entertaining to watch for sure.
If you fight France instead of surrendering Maine during the event you get a "Union with France" peace option. You can do it even if you decide to go Great Britain instead of Angevin.

Nice vid but im just confused how the world conquest eu4 record is 28 years by lambdaxx but the roman empire speedrun is 29 years.

Haha just realized that. Bro is just being historical 😂
Maybe send the save to zlewickk to save it?

M'lord
The reform farming is very....
innovative.
And here I thought Mehmet’s ambition was insane. This is definitely the best Roman Empire speedrun
Send it to Zlewik to fix it.
but ask him not to realease any nations!

nothing masterly abt savescumming imo. anything is possible with infinite good fortune

Bruh you'd be holding down C to close the rebellion notifications for a solid minute
No they need like another 4-5 months to all rise up ;)
Rebellions can only tick up 10% every month. So it’s 10 months and it’s all rebellions :)
I know I’ve played it.
Holy shit, you've spent 21 years preparing and last 8 years just ,,casually" conquering around 300 provinces. Magnificent
This is freaking jaw dropping
Saw this on Redit, didn’t know it was you! Great job dude!
Zlewikk must save this campaign!
I think this is the best video of EUIV that I have ever saw!
Please make some more content about it, i would appreciate it :)
wow. just incredible man ! thx for the effort and the vid :)

Amazing!, I love the 5 minutes from disaster type of save.
