When I first saw this sketch back in the day, I got the impression that Jesse's companion's wellies (funnily enough, exactly the same ones that I have a pair of, lol..!) were filled with water.... If you listen very carefully around the 0.10-0.12 seconds mark, you can hear the unmistakable squelching sound as he shuffles out.....ha ha ha..... I'm sure that they are!
