I used to watch this video the whole time when I was overweight, I used to hate myself back then. I was having many mental problems, i starved myself, suffered.... I lost weight felt better for some time, but it's back now. I really hate what i see in the mirror even though I'm not fat anymore and the funny thing is that this video popped out in RUclips ,so it was a weird coincidence.

(I'm paraphrasing a short story) This line is very much true, how many times are over weight/chubby girls with Anorexia or Bullimia are portrayed? I have seen very few. This video is absoluteky beautiful but I think it's kind of a problem.

So true! A few years ago I lost 18kg within a few months (was a little chubby) and everyone told me how proud they were and how I looked so beautiful.. but no one knew I was basically starving 24/7, waking up crying in the middle of the night because I ate a piece of pizza in my dream..

god this is so good! you captured the emotions perfectly. eating disorders are truly very complicated. I struggle myself so thank you so so much for making this. and from reading your description, I AGREE! eating disorders are hardly recognized in media and if they are, it's always overly stereotyped. (ex. dancer, female, perfectionist, quick ass recovery, etc.) or, as much as I love Cassie in Skins, a bit romanticized or glamourized, if that's the better word for it. or over all very unrealistic. and the only male I remember seeing with an ED in any movie or tv show would be the brother in Starving in Suburbia.

It can be easy to tell someone they are beautiful, but it is very very hard to say that to yourself. Everything I tell myself I would never tell anyone else. I have no clue why...I wish I could love myself but I can't.
I don't know if this video helps me or not... When I'm sad I can't stop watching again and again. But my eating disorders come back to me. Sorry but it is not positive and helping at all, eating disorders become an easy solution when you're in pain.

Ashley Tuttle You need to start helping yourself by letting others do so or do it on your own. The only thing that can help you is to let go of the fears and start accepting, appreciating and loving yourself. It is the hardest thing to handle, but if you won' t do it, you will end up only existing not living. From my experience I can tell you, you can make it. Stop struggeling it' s not worth it.
you know when they assume you are depressed and then you come saying you have depression this sounds pretty accurate of them , 2nd of all shy and anxiety collide , plus how t=do you want them to know is all going on in your head , you can't expect people with their own lifes , human egoistic beings to dedicated all their energy and time figuring out what is going on in your had , it just won't happen , do you want to be noticed , attention , listened , speak up , the only way is to stop the fear , no one is going to do it for you and people these days don't have the time to , also studies shows that anxiety and depression come hand in hand ,also stop assuming

Having an eating disorder, is a choice, you choose to not eat and your mind begins thinking the reason you don't eat is because you're fat, when actually, it's about trying to find yourself and understand who you truly are.
Embrace yourself and your flaws, just don't begin to feel the need to hurt yourself or what you have, your gift is having great ambition and a good head on your shoulders, hence the 'over achiever' remember you are capable to overcome anything you set your mind to, you have a strong will as well, so being an Ana survivor doesn't mean you're a victim... Just a girl capable of much more than the average teen.

Sorry but eating disorders are not only anorexia. There are many others like bulimia and ednos and binge eating, and more. People always assume that is you say you have a eating disorder, you must have anorexia.
Anorexia is the most common one anyway... And there are some parts of the video that have bulimia...
