    I was teenager during this time, a huge baseball fan, and was playing in high school. EVERYBODY who followed baseball during this period knew that these players were juicing and nobody cared!

    They were very good. In 1987, the Athletics hit 10 homeruns in 2 games, 5 by McGuire. Moreover, they won every fight against the Indians.

    The A's are my favorite American League Team a lot of good players come through the A's organization and end up being great in other teams...The Bash Brothers were good but the steriods messed their careers up.

    Hmmm… I wonder who else did steroids during the 90’s and into the early 21st century. If it wasn’t for him there wouldn’t have been sell out crowds at Pac Bell Park as it was as none other than Barry Bonds. He will never be in the MLB Hall of Fame because of it, not to mention he is as very open and friendly with the media. There a lot more baseball players that did steroids during the late 90’s and into the early 2000’s and one of my favorite players of that era was none other than Juan Gonzalez of the Texas Rangers.

      @baseballyak it is, I feel like the media wanted to destroy baseball. Was it a race thing as the media doesn't like white people and baseball has historically been more popular with whites. It wouldn't surprise me

    • @Trancymind
      @Trancymind Месяц назад

      You mean cheaters don't deserve to prosper. At least Canseco admitted it by protecting future athletes with the side effects of steroid usage while McGwire try to play innocently for his own protection on self interest, fame, legacy and greed.

      @pwx13 Месяц назад

      @Trancymind he didn't rat on his fellow teammates. Canseco did this for a paycheck. I still love Barry Bonds, Manny, Mcgwire, Ortiz, Clemens and all of the roid ragers. It was the best Era of baseball
