I was teenager during this time, a huge baseball fan, and was playing in high school. EVERYBODY who followed baseball during this period knew that these players were juicing and nobody cared!
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment Lake. Totally get it. I was a kid when these two dominated the MLB. I had my suspicions but was in awe of what they accomplished!
The A's are my favorite American League Team a lot of good players come through the A's organization and end up being great in other teams...The Bash Brothers were good but the steriods messed their careers up.
Thanks for watching and for your comment myster! The A’s do have a good farm system, and I hope things get better for them in Vegas with a new chapter. They need to retain top talent!
Yes" I remember players like Barry Zito, Tim Hudson, Mark Mulder, Eric Byrnes, Josh Donaldson, Josh Reddick, Sonny Gray, Max Muncy, CoCo Crisp, Marcus Siemen and so many other greats...Let's see what the future holds for the A's.
Hmmm… I wonder who else did steroids during the 90’s and into the early 21st century. If it wasn’t for him there wouldn’t have been sell out crowds at Pac Bell Park as it was as none other than Barry Bonds. He will never be in the MLB Hall of Fame because of it, not to mention he is as very open and friendly with the media. There a lot more baseball players that did steroids during the late 90’s and into the early 2000’s and one of my favorite players of that era was none other than Juan Gonzalez of the Texas Rangers.
@baseballyak it is, I feel like the media wanted to destroy baseball. Was it a race thing as the media doesn't like white people and baseball has historically been more popular with whites. It wouldn't surprise me
You mean cheaters don't deserve to prosper. At least Canseco admitted it by protecting future athletes with the side effects of steroid usage while McGwire try to play innocently for his own protection on self interest, fame, legacy and greed.
@Trancymind he didn't rat on his fellow teammates. Canseco did this for a paycheck. I still love Barry Bonds, Manny, Mcgwire, Ortiz, Clemens and all of the roid ragers. It was the best Era of baseball
Definitely one of the most lethal combos in baseball history
Thanks Nolan and good to see you back watching. Appreciate your support!
Loved Big Mac as a kid, Sosa and McGuire chasing the HR record is what made me a baseball fan for life.
Thanks for watching and for your comment Juan! I totally remember the Sosa McGwire Chase as I grew up with it as well. What an era!

Appreciate you @baseballguy and thanks for watching as always!
@@baseballyak 🙏🏼👍🏼
They were very good. In 1987, the Athletics hit 10 homeruns in 2 games, 5 by McGuire. Moreover, they won every fight against the Indians.
Thanks for watching and for your comment Ericsch! That A’s team were great especially with Rickey Henderson.
Awesome video!!!
Glad you enjoyed the video Christopher and thanks for the positive comment. Appreciate you!
I appreciate you; the video is fantastic 👍🏿 yet their career was ruined by steroids.
Thanks Alex and for your continued support! They were great to watch and it’s too bad steroids put a damper on them.
How good was Jesse Orosco, actually?
Thanks for pointing him out Diecast! 24 years in MLB with a devastating slider. Great player Jesse was.

They were probably good and goated brothers, boss coming from a Yankees and Mets fan.
Thanks for watching and for your comment Bien Haven’t found too many Mets AND Yankees fan either!
The PED brothers.
What a different era it was Patrick. Thanks for watching!
Mark Mcguire was purple 😂
Haha, thanks for watching Henry!
For a duo as good as they were. I just wish they realized they didn’t need roids to be “the bash bros”
Thanks for watching Jawa and for leaving a comment! Yes, they were great without the roids and too bad it tainted their legacy.

Thanks for watching and for your comment cmq. Great points and I totally remember Gonzo!
Me likey
lol, thanks for watching El! Appreciate you liking the video!
Not good enough to beat the 1990 Reds 🧹
Thanks for watching and for your comment Pipe! That Reds team was insane led by Larkin and series MVP Jose Rijo was dominant.
Nor the cinderella 1988 Dodgers team who were picked to finish 4th place in their own division.
Roid brothers
Haha, Thanks for watching Koning!
Baseball is more fun to watch with steroid.💪💪💪
Haha Kelvin! We got some pretty good stars right now to watch.
The steroid brothers.
Thanks for watching and for your comment Trancy. Too bad steroids tainted their legacies!
I respect mcgwire but not Canseco. Rats dont deserve to prosper.
Unfortunately they both have a stained legacy. It’s too bad

@@pwx13 And yet, Canseco wasn't spreading rumors/lies like some other dishonest workers who are STILL lying about it to this day.
Man, I always support you! Keep growing.
