Craig lovely job very neat love the supports for under the bath to stop it moving,I’m not being a smart ass but you didn’t put stretchers under the legs, just a bit of 3x1’1/2 going from the wall out and not as far as where you put down the wood for the panel you can screw it to the concrete or wooden floor and then screw the rubber end of the leg to the timber stops it rocking there’s a guy called Roger Bigby from Skill Builder the blokes a genius I learnt it from him he has a video on you tube about it I’m not taking anything from your job it’s just an extra precaution.
Bought a newham freestanding bath from bathroom mountain and have loads of problems with the bath trap , constant leaking due to poor quality trap, can anyone recommend a trap for this bath that is good quality, we can’t find an alternative any wear, May have to change the bath if not.
McAlpine is pretty much industry standard. There may be other issues with the installation or the bath itself, what makes you think its a poor quality trap.
Excellent Video. Showing step by step. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you found it helpful!
Flexi hoses are no good they split plumb in with copper

How so? Can you contact our team on our website and we will get this issue brought to our team's attention, thanks
Nobody seems to say how high a bath should be
It determines the size of the bath panel mate. It all differs. Normal size is usually 530-550mm though deffo
Depends on how your bathroom is planned out!
Sorry but did you miss the conical rubber seal on the waste?
I was just going to say the same thing lol 😅
Nope, it should be on there! It will also depend on what fixtures and bottle trap mechanism you are using! Thanks!

How so? We haven't seen anything like that
