Kyle Poole on drums manages to magically keep a New Orleans 2-beat throughout whilst simultaneously stretching in Coltrane quartet territory! You never lose the feeling of New Orleans!! Amazing!
I remember way back in 2001 living in New Orleans Evan Cristopher was always treated like a hero whenever he showed up at a jam session or showed up at someone's show to sit in. Now 20 years later he is a jazz legend proving here his playing is beyond genre classification. Bravo~
